16/11/2025: I'm returning to this farmhouse restaurant for the fifth time, and as always, we're all incredibly satisfied with what we've tried. The ceppelletti in brodo are excellent, the braised Angus beef (off the menu) sourced locally from their own farm is truly exceptional, and the almond and chocolate parfait, etc., to finish. Besides the quality, the outdoor seating is beautiful on a nice day, but the inside is also very welcoming, warm, and a pleasant place to spend an afternoon with friends. The owner is kind and attentive in his service. See you soon!

22/02/2026: It's been a few years since I've been to this beloved trattoria. I returned last week, and... I returned again this Sunday. My classic menu includes the delicious tagliolini with (plenty of) truffles, the tender and succulent fillet with balsamic vinegar, and the zabaglione semifreddo. This time, I opted for the signature panzerotti (few people make this ancient dish anymore), the grilled lamb chops, and the zuppa inglese. Trattoria del Sole confirms its position as a top-notch restaurant for the quality of its expertly executed dishes and the kindness of its staff. The wine cellar is also well-stocked.

01/01/2026: The staff is exceptionally friendly, even the owner, who, at the end of the meal, goes around the tables asking if everything was okay. The kindness extends even to pets: the owner kindly brought a bowl of water for our dog. Low prices, high quality. Excellent pizzas, with a wide variety of toppings. The torta fritta deserves a special mention, both for its taste and price. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a place to return, even with plenty of company given the large space.

12/02/2026: Went three weeks ago for a birthday. The atmosphere is great, quiet, and the food is also very good and plentiful. The wait is a bit long. Four stars only for the bread and carafe wine, which weren't excellent. Antonia's dessert was really good. Recommended!

19/01/2026: The atmosphere and service are very homey and pleasant. This osteria is a place where you can enjoy the tranquility and feel at home. I shared a platter of salami as an appetizer, followed by lasagna and shank scalloped with potatoes. I really appreciated the authenticity of both the owners and the food served, which was unpretentious. The desserts, however, need some updating; in my opinion, they weren't up to par with the rest of the menu (I tried a tart and tiramisu). The value for money was fairly average compared to other osterias in the area.

21/02/2026: Unfortunately, sometimes it only takes one detail to lose every positive element, which I'll leave out because it's impossible to be fooled. Drinks and Bargnolino = €19.50 on a €35 total bill (tagliatelle with salami, green salad, and water). How can you let yourself be ripped off? It's alone on a Wednesday evening. Attached is the menu, which looks well-designed and reasonably priced. The problem is that if you give certain managers a chance, they exploit it to deceive you and then write the total on the receipt so you don't know what happened. Be careful with the little bottle of Bargnolino the innkeeper puts on the table: it's a Trojan horse to rob you at the register. The same goes for the carafe wine: are you charging me for it as a whole bottle??? I don't know, I'd have gone back, but I don't like getting it there, nor do I like hitting people. Astuteness destroys a man. Never again will I go to a place like that.

03/02/2026: I went one evening to try the pizza that my friends had raved about. I must say I was satisfied with both the pizza and the service. The atmosphere was very nice and well-kept. The price was moderately high.

18/01/2026: The owner is very rude and unhelpful, and since the restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, it's not worth the drive for an experience like this. Zero professionalism.

16/12/2025: Well done, the salami from the (lower) area is the star, excellent for connoisseurs, the first courses are super sweet, excellent, excellent service, with herbs tortelli.

27/11/2025: A trattoria from days gone by with a menu that doesn't indulge in nostalgia, but rather offers classics with impeccable technical skill and wonderfully delicious flavors. The service is excellent and available to accommodate every request. The charming rooms with exposed brick walls recall the origins of this local delicatessen and delicatessen. Ideal for our New Year's Eve dinner, it's also the perfect location for a romantic dinner for two: at worst, we'll be greeted by the most traditional of fogs as we leave!
