Dishes are beautifully presented, well-portioned, and incredibly flavorful.
Excellent wine.
In short, a place where you're sure to enjoy yourself.

13/11/2025: Fantastic lunch and exceptional meat, I can say that I am one of the few in Italy to have tasted a Prussian aged for almost 2 years! Exceptional!!! Thank you so much!
In addition to this fantastic experience, everything else was a success:
The fabulous Sakura sashimi appetizer and other spectacular tasting appetizers..
Then comes the best part..3 cuts of meat, one better than the other: swamy, sakura and American blackangus aged for about 100 days, brought in succession! Pure pleasure!
After that, we were served the cut aged for almost 2 years, sublime!
The tasting of all the desserts offered crowned the experience!
All managed by professional and friendly staff!
All impeccable!

01/03/2026: Whenever anyone asks me for advice on where to eat in Busseto and the surrounding area, I never hesitate to recommend Osteria. The owners and staff are incredibly kind, people who are hard to find in 2026! The food is always mouth-watering, and the prices are truly fair! Never change! You're our favorite restaurant by far!
27/02/2026: A welcoming restaurant, excellent service, a good wine list, and a superb selection of food. Naturally, the charcuterie board is followed by anolini in brodo (a type of pasta) and ravioli filled with braised beef, sheep's milk fondue, and black truffle. Finally, braised pork cheek with toasted polenta.

23/11/2025: A place to enjoy quality traditional Parma dishes. Excellent cured meats, porcini mushroom crostini, and their own farm-produced parmesan, served with honey, onion jam, and balsamic vinegar glaze. The potato gnocchi and desserts are also excellent.

The restaurant is part of the hotel and has a slightly retro, yet welcoming, atmosphere.
The staff was very kind and friendly.
The food was good and affordable.
09/01/2026: We had lunch on January 6th with our dance group Parmadanza Sanguinaro. What can I say? Everything was perfect!
From the exceptional menu to the kindness and utmost availability, they allowed us to dance and stay until late afternoon.

Here in Winter so was quite. When the locals come out in the cold and are eating in here you know it's good.
Not expensive for the quality of food and service you get.
If your ever around here call in and eat it's worth the detour.

The waitress was very kind, and the wait time was more than acceptable.

20/02/2026: After the obligatory taste of fried pizza and tortelli, we wanted to dine at a less usual restaurant. La Gatta Matta is a very charming and welcoming place. The beautiful menu intro takes diners by the hand and leads them into the concept of gastronomy conceived by this young Apulian couple: heart and flavor. And this love, infused into their dishes, is immediately evident in the colors on the plate and the balance of flavors. The tender mugnoli, along with the pomegranate and Cappelli semolina pasta, stunned me. The ingredients are excellent, and even the chef-made bread is a delicious discovery. We truly enjoyed our stay; should we ever return to Parma, La Gatta Matta will be our first choice.

12/11/2025: Weekday lunch, a spartan atmosphere with minimalist tableware, but tidy and quiet. Relaxed service, surprisingly high-quality food (à la carte). I ordered mushroom tartare (hand-cut and excellent meat), anolini in brodo (I emphasize: broth, not a side dish but a worthy co-star), and tagliatelle with mushrooms (and I got mushrooms with tagliatelle, perfectly cooked). Adequate portions, reasonable bill, and friendly service. We'll be back.
14/09/2025: We stopped by chance as we were returning from vacation! Everything was delicious, very kind staff and low prices!
