01/08/2025: We had a very pleasant evening; the summer garden is spacious and suitable for groups and children. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service staff was very kind and helpful.

27/07/2025: A very welcoming farmhouse just a few minutes from Calestano. There were 10 of us, and they had a dedicated room for us. Fast and friendly service, a plus because they also have many gluten-free products. They're also very careful about cross-contamination and are well-informed on the subject. Excellent value for money, definitely worth returning. Next to the restaurant are the stables, and last night we even got to meet the calves.

The staff were super friendly, and the guy who served us really stood out—he was knowledgeable and passionate, especially about the beers and sparkling wines. Great service and atmosphere. 17/08/2025: Every time we make the trip from Parma to Calestano, this is where we end up—and not by accident. Albergo Ristorante Fontana is our go-to when we want to escape the city and just breathe, eat ridiculously well, and sit in a place that feels like a dream carved out of a Tuscan movie set. We had lunch on the veranda, tucked in the lush garden with a light breeze gently rustling the trees—perfect doesn’t even begin to cover it. The food? Elegant, seasonal, and built around the star of the area: tartufo. I started with the verdure spadellate con tartufo, a dish that somehow made vegetables taste luxurious. Then came the tagliolino con gambero e tartufo, which I would happily eat every weekend for the rest of my life—delicate, fragrant, and just indulgent enough without being heavy. Finished with the gelato gourmet della casa alla vaniglia, which was anything but basic. Silky, rich, and clearly homemade. Service is warm and genuinely welcoming—these are people who care about what they’re serving and how you experience it. The place itself is full of quiet grandeur: part historic hotel, part modern gourmet restaurant, all set in what feels like a hidden mountain village. We come here often, and it never disappoints. If you’re anywhere near Parma, make the drive. You’ll be glad you did.

31/08/2025: So far, I've mostly ordered takeout via the app. There's no wait to pay at the counter, and it only takes a few minutes to get my pizzas. Good, well-cooked pizzas.

31/08/2025: They should improve the service, very disorganized. The pizza is average, more than adequate, there is always confusion at the checkout. I returned and found the service improved and even the confusion at the checkout has decreased. The pizza this evening was better than usual, very good, I will return soon to confirm my opinion.

25/08/2025: A fantastic 7-course surprise menu at a fair price. Very flavorful dishes, attentive service, three glasses of wine pairing, and a stylish restaurant. The best dishes were the sweetbreads, the trout tartare, and the truffle pasta. Guests of the Antico Borgo di Tabiano can reach the restaurant in 30 minutes on foot.
