18/10/2025: Superb experience as always. The staff is very kind and above all helpful. Everything is divine, starting from the torta fritta with cured meats, the trio of tortelli, each one better than the last, and the tagliata with potatoes. The quality is top notch, the products are truly excellent. Highly recommended! You absolutely have to try it! 😃

11/10/2025: Welcoming place and beautiful scenery! Delicious food! Ancient and traditional flavors. Worth repeating! The only flaw is that the menu is explained verbally, so without the prices, the appetizers were a bit expensive for the quantity. A small adjustment in this regard and everything would be perfect!

13/11/2025: This family-run trattoria is located just outside Pilastro, heading towards Torrechiara Castle. It's not very visible from the road. There are about twenty tables spread across two floors, and the atmosphere is quiet. During the warmer months, a spacious marquee is also used in the garden, but it's a bit more anonymous and noisy. The wait staff is very friendly, and the service is quick. The cuisine offers good-quality, innovative local dishes: among the first courses, tagliolini with Parma ham and potato gnocchi with salami paste are truly delicious. The second courses, especially the Pilastro wheel and the golden duck, are particularly noteworthy. Good value for money. A small tip: the presentation of the dishes on the website is too reminiscent of tourist-oriented menus and doesn't reflect the quality offered.

09/11/2025: We were here for lunch today at Trovatore. We organized a trip to Parma and contacted this restaurant. The menu was €30.00, including mixed cold cuts, an omelette, two first courses, water, and a sbrisolona. The portions were truly ridiculous: 5 ravioli per person and 4 small bowls of gnocchi for a table of 26 people. Dessert was served on three shared plates with a couple of bowls of mascarpone cream. Obviously, it wasn't enough for the whole table. But unfortunately, it was all gone. There wasn't any left... ridiculous... we told the owner, who pretended to apologize... but by then he'd pocketed the money and didn't even bother to offer us a coffee... disappointing. It's obvious we won't be returning, and above all, we won't speak highly of the place. I'm sorry because he lost out on a few more portions... shame.

09/11/2025: We stayed for the night of November 8, 2025. We also had dinner in a very charming location, with excellent dishes, served by courteous and competent staff. The full breakfast rounded off our stay very well! Recommended place.
