16/02/2026: I'm a bus driver. I went with a group for dinner. It's not the first time. The food is really good. The staff is kind and helpful. In this restaurant, cooking is an art. All the groups I've brought from practically all over Europe have always been very happy. Compliments 😘 to the kitchen and all the staff. Thank you 👌
09/02/2026: We had booked for a group of 13 and received a wonderful welcome from the owner and his waitress. They prepared a set menu. For starters, we were served charcuterie with 24-month aged Parmesan cheese to eat with small fried pasta (a local specialty). Then the chef made homemade pasta served with a choice of ragù or mushroom sauce. To finish, he introduced us to three delicious desserts. Every plate was empty and everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed themselves! A huge thank you for such a lovely evening!

03/02/2026: Just a stone's throw from the Rocca di Fontanellato, this delicatessen is one of those places where, upon entering for the first time, you know you'll want to return. Authentic flavors and aromas, excellent cured meats, and friendly staff. The moka pot of coffee was an unexpected surprise and the perfect end to our lunch at a quiet table next to a shelf displaying "Carmencita e Miguel" ceramics.
29/12/2025: What a wonderful experience! The highlight is definitely the cured meats. At the first bite, you close your eyes and experience an orgasmic moment. They melt in your mouth, truly delicious. Must be paired with the torta fritta. The service is typical of a business with a lovely Emilian touch: informal, loving, attentive, and precise. They frequently pass between the tables to check if everything is okay, without ever being intrusive or pushy. We also had tagliatelle (7) and tortelli (8) for the first course, then guanciale (8) for the second course. Last but not least: coffee is served directly at the table, using a moka pot. BRAVI!

29/12/2025: An excellent dining experience from beginning to end. Every course was carefully executed, from the appetizers through the primi and main dishes, followed by a well-finished dessert and coffee. The kitchen clearly values quality ingredients and precise technique, resulting in dishes that are both flavorful and balanced. The mushroom-focused plates were particularly memorable and more than compensated for having missed mushroom season earlier in the year. Nothing felt overworked or excessive — just thoughtful, seasonal cooking done well. A restaurant worth returning to, especially when porcini mushrooms are back in season.

23/02/2026: The gelato is decent; I could only taste a little of many flavors, and personally, I prefer other gelato shops. There's a strong smell of fresh milk inside, likely due to the lab or poor management of the space. I understand the artisanal nature of the place, but personally, it's an unpleasant smell. The price isn't in line with the area either: €4.50 for three flavors seems a bit high.

A refined atmosphere and friendly staff complete an experience that captivates from the first taste. Highly recommended! 🍦✨😍

02/03/2026: I discovered this place through a Wonderbox I was given. A very beautiful, unusual structure, considering it's an abbey. Attentive service, very kind and helpful staff. It was a wonderful discovery, we'll be happy to return. The rooms are quiet and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade tarts. Everything was wonderful... thank you 🤩🤩🤩

09/12/2025: The food is excellent, with very high quality and a refined, carefully prepared cuisine that's not overdone. There are 12-13 seats and reservations are required. I should add that it's quite difficult to book on weekends, even months in advance. It's much easier on weekdays.

08/02/2026: This restaurant in the center of Parma is highly recommended for celiacs. They immediately explained to me which dishes I could order, including the traditional dishes in a gluten-free version! I had the pumpkin ravioli, and it was amazing—thin, flavorful pasta! (Not a given for celiacs.) I recommend the owner specialize even more in gluten-free options. It wasn't marked as gluten-free on the internet, and it deserves more visibility! I highly recommend it for celiacs passing near the cathedral. They also brought me gluten-free biscuits and a small pastry to finish. The staff were kind and attentive.

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, my experience wasn't a positive one, much to my disappointment. The fried polenta was very oily. The cured meats were average and few in number. The first course was the one that surprised me the most: tagliolini with prosciutto crudo, topped with parsley and cherry tomatoes. I'd never seen anything like it, and it was obvious the prosciutto was the one that had been blackened and then cooked for reuse. The pork rosette was tasty, but it wasn't well-seasoned inside; there was no discernible prosciutto. I'm giving it three stars out of encouragement because, if the Michelin Guide and others saw something in it, it has potential that seems lost right now.
