23/08/2025: We happened upon it on our way back from vacation and found a place to eat outdoors, where the friendliness and deliciousness of the food are a hallmark!
The appetizer is strictly eaten with your hands, and the wine is poured into bowls... just like in the old days...
So if you're ever in the area, I highly recommend it!
19/08/2025: Delightful atmosphere. Rustic and simple, just like the old days. You eat without cutlery and on a paper tablecloth, with wine served in a bowl and top-quality ingredients. If you want to rediscover the flavors of the past, this is the place. The staff is helpful and very kind. An experience worth trying!

20/08/2025: Culinary Italy. Everything was excellent. The only flaw that kept me from giving it a 5 is that at 1 pm they said they'd run out of various cheeses for the platter. They gave me all the Parmesan, which, despite how good it is, gets boring after a while. The service staff were very kind and the food was clean.
29/07/2025: Sale of cured meats of their own production, they also do lunches and snacks with cured meats and cheeses, huge portions, everything excellent, I recommend a stop

11/07/2025: Wedding anniversary, organized at the last minute, a sensational evening in every way.
Excellent staff, super-well-maintained venue, and... The dishes... What can I say... Excellent or excellent is limiting.
Every preparation by the chef brought back aromas and sensations of places far and near. Every bite was an explosion of flashbacks.
Beautiful place.
We were pampered all evening.
Well done, well done, well done.
09/07/2025: Well... what the hell am I saying? We're in Serie A here: whatever you order is an experience. We went a few years ago for a tasting menu and a pre-dinner cocktail. I'll be back as soon as I can.

21/07/2025: One of the best dinners I've ever had, for the quality-price ratio, attentive service, and polite staff. I would highly recommend it; the atmosphere is intimate, and the dishes, besides being aesthetically impeccable, are delicious!
13/07/2025: It must have been the evening, but the service was very slow (we waited an hour just to take our order, without even getting bread and water), not attentive, nor perfect! Subsequently, bread and a small entree arrived. The appetizers were really good, the quality of the ingredients excellent. We didn't like the first courses, nor the second courses. The desserts weren't appreciated by everyone. High expectations...disappointed!

13/08/2025: When we travel in the area, it's become a must-visit. Excellent selection of Parma ham and mountain Parmigiano Reggiano. The first courses and desserts are also delicious. Everything is made according to tradition. It's a pleasure to spend some time with the Ugolotti family, who passionately explain their products.
02/08/2025: We ordered platters of cured meats and cheeses, polenta, and torta fritta. The first words that come to mind are "what a spectacle, a riot of flavors!" We ate REAL prosciutto cured for 34 months (the Parma is actually from Langhirano)!! The salami was also delicious. Not to mention the 40-month-aged parmesan. A very good and truly enjoyable lunch with the owner, who shared his story with us. If you're in the Parma and castle area, stop by—you won't be disappointed.

03/08/2025: I have Sicilian relatives who live in Germany... and when they come down they stop at my place in Salso... and they want to eat torta fritta... over the years I've bought it everywhere. But the one that makes ceriati is unbeatable... the best torta fritta... and also the parmesan cream... which is not cut with cream but is parmesan cream... they are the number 1...
02/08/2025: We visited this trattoria on a summer evening, high in the hills of Salso. I rate it excellent, among the best trattorias in the entire Emilia-Romagna region.
Starting with the torta fritta and mixed cured meats, fried polenta with lard, sautéed mushrooms and fried porcini mushrooms, mezzelune pasta with truffles, tagliatelle with meat sauce, and finally tiramisu and coconut semifreddo.
The house wine was good. The staff was friendly and quick. We just met you and we're confident we'll always find the same passion and quality in providing the best local flavors. See you next time!
