Here, I savored an excellent platter of local cured meats... and a basket of Fried Gnocco. Here, they know how to do Salami, Ham, Culatello and Parmesan. Highly recommended! 02/04/2024: I have been a customer of the Osteria di Fornio for at least ten years, although I go about once a year due to the distance between my place of residence and Fidenza. This restaurant is a real point of reference for good Emilian cuisine, expertly revisited by the chef in a more contemporary key, without however distorting it. At these levels of quality it is difficult to talk about dishes being better than others. However, I would like to point out the Buon Insieme menu, thanks to which we got to know the Osteria di Fornio years ago, which represents an excellent way to get to know the dishes of this place and its territory at 360°. The welcome from the dining room staff was also genuine and professional, led by the friendly husband of the chef and co-owner. A service as warm as that of taverns and as attentive as that of an excellent restaurant. Absolutely recommended and, without doubt, we will continue to return.

08/12/2023: We went today for a family lunch. Characteristic environment, with great attention to detail, in this period the place is festively decorated for Christmas and the always open fireplace creates a romantic, family atmosphere. The food is amazing. Exceptional cured meats with fragrant and not at all greasy fried pie. The first ones are excellent, the second ones are exceptional. The desserts are also very good. Everything is strictly homemade.

06/04/2024: Everything magnificent! A wonderful welcome, the waiter explained to us the whole concept of the place and the origin of the raw materials. Cold cuts that unfold in your mouth, top-notch first courses and a wine, defined as "the Polesine coca cola which is a dream. Super super recommended also for the price!!!

06/04/2024: This place left me speechless! I was 100% satisfied Really liked everything starting from the comfort of the chairs and ending with the quality of the food. Fast and friendly staff. Before you start eating they bring you small samples of cured meats and cheese. I took the salad with cold cuts and cheese. Let's say that in reality they were cold cuts and cheeses with a side salad all accompanied with bread. The bread was also special, the breadsticks crunchy and different from the usual ones, the crispy flat bread and the very soft bread. The cold cuts and cheese platter was excellent! I haven't eaten this well in a lifetime! I'll be back! I thank all the staff who work there! You are really good!

24/03/2024: Elegant place surrounded by greenery from which you can enjoy an excellent view. The food is fantastic, especially the typical tagliatelle and cold cuts. Also worth trying is the giropizza (better to call because they don't make it every day). The owner, who takes care of the service, is pleasant and always kind and available to recommend wines and dishes. I highly recommend it!

12/03/2024: We went to this delicatessen to get some culatello to take home and give as gifts, since we were in the homeland of ham and we're not local. When I write a review I put respect for the seller first and try to be objective, but the disappointment was excessive: we were given a culatello that was vacuum-packed, without any label, date, production... nothing. But we trusted the product and the name. The culatello was dry and salty, salty like the price paid, 76 euros per kilo and 86 euros per kilo, as a surcharge for having had a vacuum tray made. I only tried such a mediocre flavor in the canteen where I work and I'm not saying this to exaggerate but to make those reading this review understand what I'm talking about. if I didn't live so far away, I would have brought it back. I'm sorry to leave this review, but we were literally fooled and the mistake was ours both for not having asked the price per kilo first (no over-the-counter product has a price list) and for not having asked for a taste before purchasing it ; lastly, the mistake of having trusted. Obviously we made a 'bad impression' even with the people to whom we gave a pack of culatello, who confirmed what was written. The place is very nice. Nothing more.

20/02/2024: A more than positive experience regarding the raw material. We tried a starter of cured meats, tortelloni and horse pesto All very good. The only sore point, at least for me, is the lack of accompanying the appetizer with the traditional gnocco or fried pie. Anyway, worth coming back
