15/02/2026: I visited the taverna del borgo on Sunday evening, after the new management took over. The staff is very welcoming, and the menu offers a selection of traditional dishes. The tortelloni with butter and sage were delicious, and the cotoletta alla petroniana was exceptional. Fair prices, very fast service, and generous portions. Highly recommended.

The staff, as friendly and approachable as they are professional, in pure Emilian style, welcomes diners in an atmosphere of festive simplicity. The menu, despite being self-service, offers a variety of first and second courses, side dishes, and desserts. Everything is simple and delicious, like the best home cooking. You can also purchase handmade pasta. A delightful discovery that will make you want to return!

01/02/2026: Dishes rooted in the Bologna province, some traditional, others more innovative. Good quality and dishes that are a joy to eat. The portions of crescentine are okay, but the cured meats are a bit small. Quiet atmosphere, suitable for everyone. Parking is available in front of the entrance (usually available). Some prices are a bit on the high side. The all-you-can-eat menu is interesting, offering appetizers, four first courses, second courses, side dishes, liqueurs, and drinks, like a traditional full menu, but more extensive.

13/03/2026: We stumbled upon it somewhat by chance for lunch, as we live in the area. The restaurant is very spacious, with plenty of parking, and it hosted a large and noisy group, but they were very well contained in a dedicated room, while the other guests could enjoy the peace and quiet in another room. The service was fast and impeccable, but I was a bit disappointed with the food: the lasagna was good but "very wet with béchamel and soft" and not nice and crispy with a lot of ragout like "my mother's." The dessert was a bit too dry for my taste, but the sauce was good. There was no complaint about the price.

07/03/2026: We had lunch for two. The lasagna was just okay, but the pasta was overcooked and too moist. The rabbit with potatoes was good, nothing special. In my opinion, a bit pricey for the quality.

05/01/2026: A high-end cocktail bar with a well-researched, quality drinks list. The welcoming and professional staff immediately puts you at ease, and the buffet is decent. A pleasant place to return to.

16/12/2025: I WILL NEVER SET FOOT THERE AGAIN A friend of mine booked half the room inside for her birthday party (it being December 15th) for 20 people (all 20 years old). We were all sitting there quietly when they told us we had to leave and move outside because the owners were having a company aperitif. After being told they'd forgotten and therefore taken our reservation anyway (and then kicked us out), we learned that it wasn't true and that the infamous "meeting" had been arranged at the last minute... evidently a group of 20 "kids" (as we were called) who had booked over a week earlier were getting in the way of their reunion. After we moved outside without saying anything, we heard various comments from 40-year-old women invited to this "exclusive" event, such as "Oh, they finally kicked them out, can we sit down?" and other similar comments directed at us... even complaints when we went in to use the bathroom... I was speechless... how dare you treat customers this way... the fact that we're "only" 20 and you're twice that age doesn't give you the right to be completely disrespectful... in fact, you made twice the fool of yourself. Adults who should be role models for kids. Plus, they sent the (very kind) waiters to kick us out... never once did the owners come personally to apologize to us... IN ADDITION TO RUDE AND ARROGANT, YOU ARE ALSO COWARDS. AT LEAST HAVE THE COURAGE TO SHOW YOUR FACE TO IT. SHAME! I GUARANTEE YOU, WE AND ALL OUR FRIENDS WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. CONGRATULATIONS, YOU JUST LOST MORE THAN 50 CUSTOMERS.

The pizza is overall pleasant; in my case, it would have benefited from a few more seconds of cooking to achieve a drier and slightly crispier base, improving the overall texture. The menu is predominantly focused on red pizzas, while there are few white options.

22/02/2026: The pizza dough won't be memorable, the place is fairly anonymous and dated, quite noisy, the chairs are unstable as they need glue at the joints, and the prices are fair. I don't think I'll be back.
