Really nice and clean place. Excellent food, short menu but that's fine, just a few things done to perfection. Perfect service and friendly staff. Recommended.

I visited the taverna del borgo on Sunday evening, after the new management took over. The staff is very welcoming, and the menu offers a selection of traditional dishes. The tortelloni with butter and sage were delicious, and the cotoletta alla petroniana was exceptional. Fair prices, very fast service, and generous portions. Highly recommended.

Excellent first and second courses. Tigelle, Crescentine, and quality cured meats. Excellent service, and what's more, a clean location and service in a family-friendly atmosphere. All in a stunning village. Worth considering for a city escape. Convenient parking.

20/03/2026: I've been to Al Ritrovo several times, and every time I return, the products are consistently better, and the staff is always super helpful and welcoming. They make you feel at home. The menus are always carefully curated and change frequently, which is a plus because it allows you to discover new, delicious flavors. Their Sicilian dishes are delicious, and it's hard to find such authentic flavors in Bologna and the surrounding area. I also recommend trying their aperitivo: exquisite drinks and tasty snacks that pair perfectly... and it's so conveniently located near the city center and, especially, the university, how could you say no!

05/06/2026: Lucia and Alexandra were amazing! Loved our small pasta making class. We booked as a class of 3 and it was fantastic. The space doubles at a fresh pasta store and a cooking-teaching kitchen.They were fantastic teachers, but also just so cheerful and fun to speak with, we had a great time. One of the highlights of our trip.
31/05/2026: Lucia and Alexandra are the best! We had an absolute blast learning to make pasta. 100% recommend
