18/06/2025: My favourite place in Bologna, I already been here twice. The restaurant is simple, but welcoming. The food is delicious and traditional, their risotto with the parmigiano reggiano, which is served directly from the cheese wheel right in front of you, is the best I'veever had. Great selection of wine to accompany the food. The host is very welcoming and friendly, he will tell you more about the food and beverages if you are interested. The price is fair for the quality and quantity of the food. I strongly recommend to try this hidden gem if you are visiting Bologna!

18/06/2025: The meal was delicious, we had a great time. It was a pleasure to taste pasta prepared directly in the wheel for the first time. I would like to point out that my mother, who has not liked cheese since the dawn of time, discovered and loved burrata and real parmesan this evening (different from our French products). A plus for dishes prepared with truffle which adds a touch of sweetness and excellence. The very friendly manager is there to offer advice and give you details of the restaurant's history. I highly recommend it.

06/07/2025: Restaurant with a splendid view located in Castiglione dei Pepoli, a few km from the motorway toll booth. Large and elegant restaurant with cuisine that has influences from nearby Tuscany and as a strong point the porcini mushrooms that can be tasted in many dishes. Helpful staff and fast service

18/06/2025: We recently stayed there (unfortunately only) for one night. It was by far the most beautiful stop on our trip to Italy! Beautiful grounds and super-clean restrooms. We received a very warm welcome and hospitality. My personal highlight was the food! Even though we were the only guests, the restaurant was opened for us, and I haven't had such a good meal anywhere else! An absolute recommendation from start to finish. Thank you for these wonderful 24 hours. 😊

15/06/2025: We stayed in this beautiful farmhouse (double bed bungalow), it was a regenerating and immersive experience in nature, and also refreshing given the beautiful pool. The staff is very kind. Top breakfast Absolutely recommended!! I will return very soon

23/03/2025: Biscotti cari per ciò che sono, inutile continuare a dire da parte loro che sono il loro punto di forza. Biscotti con pasta frolla dove l'impasto non è consistente si disintegrano appena l'inzuppi nel latte....sono senza sapore sembrano biscotti per i diabetici. Torta di compleanno nell'insieme non male ma con all'interno fragole congelate e ti dicono di mangiarla subito appena presa fuori dal frigo....a me risulta che si deve mangiare dopo mezz'ora tolta dal frigo! E comunque non valgono i soldi che si spendono troppo cari.

16/02/2025: Complete butcher's shop located in the center of the ancient quadrilateral, the beating heart of my city. The Florentine cows are fantastic, one of the best cow breeds on the market. The boiled meat is from the school of Bolognese cuisine. Excellent and tender white meats, starting with chickens and turkeys and then continuing with rabbits etc.etc. You have to try everything. He deserves it. I forgot: they also have a rotisserie section with tortellini and other Bolognese delicacies. For me, who lives in San Lazzaro, it is an obligatory and mandatory stop to be able to stop by Mattia and Fabiano at least once a week. They are my real pharmacists! Pier

12/05/2025: Intimate and welcoming place. I am a vegetarian and I had a great time: high quality food, interesting and particular starter compared to the usual + spaghettone with pine nuts, cherry tomatoes, black olives and SPAZIALE crunchy breadcrumbs. I give the staff a 3 only because the girl didn't seem particularly enthusiastic about being at work, while the waiter was very very kind

Tried several times, both lunch and dinner and even if very busy they find a way to accommodate everyone in a short time. Great courtesy and friendliness of the owners. Vintage atmosphere, simple but welcoming. To return!

22/06/2025: I came all the way from Japan to eat at this restaurant. A very relaxing place surrounded by beautiful nature. The cheerful staff explained the dishes carefully. The small roses on the table show the thoughtfulness of welcoming the guests. The chef's course, which changes weekly, allows you to taste the sauce of each dish and feel the love that has gone into each dish, making it a very valuable experience. If you tell them your wine preferences, the staff will choose the best wine for you. The chef, who has traveled all over the world and admires Japanese cuisine, has a lovely smile, and knowing that the food was made by this chef makes you even more satisfied with the food. It's a hidden place, and I'm sure even Japanese people living in Italy don't know about it, but it's a place that everyone should know about, so it would be a shame to call it a "hidden place." Open only on Friday nights, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch, about 40 minutes by taxi from Bologna (15 minutes by taxi from the nearest station, Pianoro). A restaurant on a hill. You can also ask the restaurant to call a taxi for you to return home. A place that everyone should visit at least once in their life, where you will create the best memories. I would like to come again with my family of three. Thank you for the best food and love.

21/06/2025: We had dinner here looking for a bit of coolness! As soon as we sat down they explained to us what the dinner would be like, there is no menu but it's like being at home with family, you sit down and they serve you what there is 😊 you can only choose what to drink. The only thing a little uncomfortable are the benches because you can't rest your back and after a while you have to get up ... but everything bearable. This is beautiful because every dish is a surprise. They arrived 4 appetizers, a first course, a second course and the dessert all well looked after and explained and of excellent quality! 33 euros plus the drink excellent price. There is a menu dedicated to children at 15 euros. Going down towards Bologna there were expanses of fireflies truly a spectacle for the eyes. Highly recommended ++++

04/06/2025: My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Helvetia Hotel in Porretta Terme (31/05-01/06). The hotel is well-kept and elegant, as are the rooms, large and with attention to detail. Excellent cleaning. Friendly and helpful staff. The icing on the cake is the beautiful SPA, created from caves in an air raid shelter; a very suggestive environment, with soft lighting and background music, which makes everything romantic and relaxing.... open until 11:00 pm... the kit is available in the room, with: bathrobe, towel, slippers and cap. I can't wait to go back.... I RECOMMEND IT....
