05/05/2026: I’ve been to the best-rated, most famous restaurants in Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast towns during my Italy trip, but this is truly the best meal I had in two weeks. The seafood carbonara was the best pasta I’ve ever had, and the scampi risotto was cooked perfectly. The house white wine was so good that we asked to take a photo of it. The service was excellent and accommodating, even though the staff were mostly very Italian! Also, the prices were so affordable I couldn't believe I was on the coast. I wish I could stay in Amalfi longer so that I could come here again. There were so many Koreans in Amalfi, but for some reason, there wasn't a single one here… It’s only a 10-minute walk from Amalfi with no stairs, so please, please make sure to visit. It was the most delicious meal I had in Italy.

05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

05/12/2025: Best place on our stop to Postitano. Great views, food and service! Get ready for an uphill hike, we were gassed! But it was well worth it!

04/05/2026: Even though I've been visiting Cilento for many years, I'd never tried this restaurant, which was definitely a pleasant surprise. The location is lovely: clean, scenic, and meticulously maintained. The staff is friendly, and I really enjoyed the food. Although it was a bit late, I only had a main course with a side dish, I did see some very inviting dishes pass by. We had a great time and promised ourselves we'd return in the summer to enjoy a delicious pizza on one of those wonderful terraces with a spectacular view of Cilento.

03/05/2026: Last night we had dinner at this pizzeria. When we arrived there was no room, but the owner made sure to free up a table, and within 15 minutes we were seated. The appetizers and pizza were excellent. The dough was light and easy to digest, and the ingredients were high quality. I highly recommend it.

29/04/2026: If you love the wonderful places of Cilento, This is for you. One of the most beautiful and tasty places, especially the panettone at the end, incredibly good.

26/04/2026: The road is challenging and inconvenient, especially at night because it's poorly lit, but once you arrive, you find yourself in a very bright, modern, and comfortable place. The pizza deserves top marks, super light, and top-quality ingredients. You can also choose from a good selection of meats. The desserts are also excellent. Highly recommended! The price is right.

21/04/2026: We hadn't booked. Even though it was full, they kindly let us have dinner, everything was very good, the service was excellent, congratulations.

06/04/2026: For my first time there, I didn't go all out with 5 stars for everything. But, as the granddaughter of a Cilentan grandmother, I think I can say that the fusilli with mutton sauce deserves full marks.

27/02/2026: Highly recommended. We went for dinner while visiting the historic center of Castelcivita. The service was excellent, as was the food. It was clear that it was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. If we visit the area again, we would definitely return, but we would try to go for lunch so we could enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape.

16/01/2026: Returned after a couple of years, the quality is still the same, exceptional, as I found it some time ago. The owner is super helpful and kind, and the dishes are traditional. The local wine is superb, and the ragù is amazing. See you soon, guys!

22/03/2026: The owner is a delightful person who makes everyone feel at ease, and knows how to recommend wines and extra tastings of the house appetizer very well. Everyone is very courteous and kind, and there's no waiting if you book. Kudos to the chef for the delicious gallette pizza, which I haven't had in years! Keep it up, Didy and Annalisa.

10/03/2026: A delicious dinner. We had tagliolini with cod and a truly exceptional sliced ​​beef. All the ingredients were top-quality. Even the wine, a simple bottle of Aglianico del Benevento, was truly delicious. The welcome and customer service were impeccable. Thanks to the owner and his sons.

08/04/2026: The best restaurant in the area by far. Loved every dish we had. The octopus with potato was cooked to perfection, the scialatielli with seafood was amazing and the portion was generous, and the catch of the day was absolutely delicious (a bit pricey). The kids loved this place. The service was excellent. We had a little accident with our little one who threw up, and the owner was attentive and made the dining experience great despite the incident. This was the last meal we had in the area and it blew our minds. I wish we had tried it earlier. If you are in the area, you should definitely check it out.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

08/04/2026: Hidden gem in a quiet street with big portions, good food and fair prices. Relaxed and unpretentious, it was a welcome respite from some of the hustle around the coast. No views but a pleasant atmosphere. Had crab and zucchini pasta with a beer—and it was a large portion! Would recommend to any in the area

10/05/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant, I had mixed fried food, cod marinated in olive oil, and courgette flowers with cod and lemon mousse. The fried food was a bit dark in color but was very good, the cod marinated in olive oil was good but not excellent, the courgette flowers were terrible, very bitter... I was afraid of cucurbitacin poisoning... I told the waitress and no one came to apologize, I even had to pay 12 euros for them... I will never go back.

18/04/2026: Genuinely the best pizza I have ever had. I mourn not being able to come to this restaurant whenever I think about pizza. That is how good it is. We went there every evening for the 4 days we were in Maiori. Staff are wonderful, food is delicious, and the atmosphere is amazing. Please visit this restaurant if you have the chance!

The food was spectacular, with meticulous attention to detail and truly incredible flavors. Every course was a delight. But the real surprise was the atmosphere: they set a wonderful table for me, elegant and well-appointed, which made the evening even more special. The location is enchanting, the kind of place that immediately makes you feel like you're somewhere unique. A huge round of applause also for the service, impeccable from start to finish: the staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always smiling. The wine selection was also excellent, perfect to accompany the dinner. My sincere compliments to the entire staff for their friendliness, professionalism, and passion, evident in every detail.
