Trattoria al Portello In Castelcivita

Highly recommended. We went for dinner while visiting the historic center of Castelcivita. The service was excellent, as was the food. It was clear that it was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. If we visit the area again, we would definitely return, but we would try to go for lunch so we could enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape.

Returned after a couple of years, the quality is still the same, exceptional, as I found it some time ago. The owner is super helpful and kind, and the dishes are traditional. The local wine is superb, and the ragù is amazing. See you soon, guys!

A large group of us arrived, with our biker group, and we were warmly welcomed at the Portello restaurant in Castelcivita! The service was perfect: the girls moved among the tables with attention and kindness, always ready to make us feel comfortable. We started with a rich appetizer of cold cuts, cheeses, and mozzarella, followed by ciambotta, meatballs in tomato sauce, mushroom bark, and pasta with chickpeas. To finish, we had torta della nonna, coffee, and amari, all accompanied by excellent red and white wine. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the company was perfect. A place we'll gladly return to!

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, we were the 49th member of the BMW Motorrad Club. They welcomed and cared for us with professionalism and kindness. The food was simply fantastic! Reasonable prices, and a spectacular view of the valley. A special thanks to Mrs. Rita who put up with us until 5:00 PM! We'll be back, and I recommend it to everyone.

After a visit to the Castelcivita Caves with the BMW CLUB NAPOLI Motorcycle Club, We had lunch at Trattoria al Porteto. Delicious, homemade food, like eating at grandma's. Excellent service, friendly staff, and low prices.

We had lunch yesterday with our BMW Motorrad club in Naples. I must say that my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the excellent food we were served and the hospitality of the owner and the wait staff, who were always attentive to our every request. We highly recommend it, Theresa and Roberto.
