Pictured are fresh pasta: pumpkin gnocchi (we omitted the gorgonzola) and lagane and chickpeas with chili pepper. We added a house antipasto with vegetables, cured meats, and cheeses. Price: €19 per person.

12/10/2025: A lovely place in a stunning location! After the hike to the WWF oasis, we stopped for lunch: excellent house wine (it's rare to find good house wine), a rich appetizer, a homemade first course and dessert, all served by staff who put their heart and soul into it! Highly recommended.

07/04/2026: You have to venture into the narrow streets of Amalfi to reach this gem. The service is divine, and even if you've missed your reservation, they'll find you a table and ensure you receive excellent service.

19/02/2026: I just went there for work. I ordered the €25 all-inclusive business menu, which included a choice of three appetizers and three main courses, water, and a cover charge. I chose this creamy potato soup with cured meats and lime. The flavor was very balanced, with the lime leading the way and a hint of acidity that made it enjoyable. For my main course, I opted for the sliced ​​beef, which I asked for the arugula to be omitted. The quality of the meat was really good, but I didn't like the choice to sear the cherry tomatoes, which somewhat altered the flavor and aroma of the dish. I'm not giving it my best rating because the prices are high anyway. The business menu can't be changed, and if you switch to other dishes, the price goes up. For "my" idea of ​​a butcher shop/restaurant, I wouldn't go back.

21/01/2026: I returned to this pizzeria after five years, and it was a delightful rediscovery. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I ordered a Marinara: truly excellent. Finally, a proper "macchiata" pizza, where the sauce takes center stage and not just a dry trace of tomato. My friends' pizzas and frittatas were also excellent, and they got top marks. However, I must point out that the service was decidedly slow, even though the place wasn't crowded when we arrived. Beyond that, there are two small points related to personal taste: I would have preferred to be warned that instead of the Coke I ordered, they would serve a Pepsi, given that the flavors are quite different. I also found the decor a bit chaotic, and the acoustics in the front room could be improved, as the echoing voices are sometimes unpleasant. In any case, the quality of the food prevails: we'll definitely be back; I would have stayed for another!

17/01/2026: The pizza is delicious. We tried their four different ways to cook it, and they were all delicious! High-quality ingredients and excellent combinations. The dining room was very nice, and the service was friendly and fast!

27/02/2026: Highly recommended. We went for dinner while visiting the historic center of Castelcivita. The service was excellent, as was the food. It was clear that it was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. If we visit the area again, we would definitely return, but we would try to go for lunch so we could enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape.

16/01/2026: Returned after a couple of years, the quality is still the same, exceptional, as I found it some time ago. The owner is super helpful and kind, and the dishes are traditional. The local wine is superb, and the ragù is amazing. See you soon, guys!

02/11/2025: The restaurant was exactly what you'd expect in an Italian mountain village: good Italian cuisine prepared with creativity and imagination, accompanied by a good wine or even a beer. Since we were staying in the village, we ate there often and were never disappointed.

30/10/2025: Stunning views from the terrace by day or night. Patio heater was available for us as we went in late October and inside seating was not nearly as scenic! The food was fantastic and the waiter was knowledgeable about the wines offered. Service timing was classic Italian - enjoy the evening and don't be in a rush to leave - not that you will be.

10/03/2026: A delicious dinner. We had tagliolini with cod and a truly exceptional sliced ​​beef. All the ingredients were top-quality. Even the wine, a simple bottle of Aglianico del Benevento, was truly delicious. The welcome and customer service were impeccable. Thanks to the owner and his sons.

01/03/2026: Neither good nor bad... on our way back from a business trip, we stopped here based on the reviews. It's a beautiful place with views of the Sele Valley, welcoming and clean. In my opinion, osterias should offer traditional local dishes using local ingredients. Part of the menu features a few local products, but the rest, while well-cooked, is clearly made with ingredients sourced from large-scale retailers. What I was most disappointed about was that when I returned to the company and asked for a refund for the meal I'd consumed, I was refused because I had a management document in hand, a classic pre-bill that was identical in every way to a tax document. Moral of the story: I lost out of pocket.
