05/05/2026: I rarely post reviews, however everything from the ambience, service, food, and drink were spectacular. Giovanni and Roberto provided amazing service and the whole experience was a highlight of our Amalfi coast trip. The risotto we had was incredible and perfectly balanced. I also appreciated Giovanni’s wine recommendations. Overall we felt there was such attention to details and beyond incredible service throughout the whole experience!

08/04/2026: This was an unforgettable experience at Posides in Positano. The food was phenomenal — truly the best fish and tiramisu we have ever had. Every bite was perfection and made with incredible care and quality. The atmosphere was magical, warm, and full of authentic charm. The brothers themselves made the evening even more special — they are such beautiful people, passionate about what they do, incredibly kind, and welcoming. You can truly feel the love and heart they put into both the food and the experience. This place is a gem and a must-visit when in Positano. We will never forget it ☺️

22/05/2026: Absolutely beautiful spot, we came here during our honeymoon. Gabrisa has an amazing view and the food and drinks were phenomenal as well. Our waiter Francesco was very friendly. Overall a wonderful experience

30/05/2026: While we didn’t stay at the hotel, my best friend and I went to the restaurant one night and were treated like queens. The service was above and beyond, great food, the music was phenomenal, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the espresso martinis were the best we had in Italy. Highly recommend.

05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

13/06/2026: Fantastic coffee and espresso! Great little balcony that seats two that has incredible views. We loved stopping here in the morning during our stay in Positano. Staff was very friendly and inviting

30/05/2026: Came in here in 2016, and returned twice in 2026 when coming back to Positano. The plating won’t wow you, but the taste has you coming back for more. The views are impeccable, and the fact that this family run is inspirational. There are so many flashy and flavour lacking restaurants in Positano - this spot bucks that trend. Simple, tasty and memorable. It’s a long hike up from the action, but absolutely worth it. Also, it’s always easier walking down than up after you eat - especially with a deliciously full stomach. So just do it. Photos are from all 3 trips spanning a decade :)

30/05/2026: Wow! Finding a non touristy place in Positano is not easily possible. While this is not touristy area their prices truly are but the food is so so amazing. Good - all items we ordered as vegetarian including dessert were wonderful. Reserved the nicest seats before you arrive Bad - they provide shuttle service to your place but we waited for 40 mins and nothing and then when someone shows up they didn’t take us because we are not on their route! We spend $120! And restaurant staff was not helpful at all.

26/05/2026: Wonderful restaurant in Montepertuso, up the mountain from Positano reachable by bus if you're staying in Positano. Everything we had was wonderful and you can watch them cook your meal while you eat.

18/05/2026: We came to this restaurant for our last dinner in Italy because we were looking for a truly authentic, family-run Italian experience — and it exceeded every expectation. Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from our Airbnb, we were welcomed from the moment we walked in and immediately felt right at home. The atmosphere was warm, clean, comfortable, and inviting. The food was absolutely incredible — easily the best meal we had during our week in Italy, including both Rome and Positano. We’ve been back in Canada for a while now and I still haven’t stopped thinking about it! Our server was so kind and welcoming, and despite the language barrier, he made every effort to communicate with us and ensure we had a wonderful experience. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Positano who is looking to escape the more touristy spots and enjoy an authentic Italian meal in a warm family atmosphere.

05/05/2026: Wandered in today and so in love with the basil cucumber spritz and my beet salad. Step in for a wonderful meal and relaxing vibe… also it’s a bit of an oasis from the crowds and shopping

03/12/2025: We went for lunch at the last minute and they welcomed us very well! The food was spectacular, the pizzas were super good and the pasta and fish dishes too! They recommended a very good wine from Vesubi. Yes, it is a little more expensive than other places but not because of the price, the quality is noticeable. We could eat so much here every day. Thank you very much!

27/11/2025: A friend in Positano recommended this restaurant to me. In winter, all the restaurants on the seafront and streets of Positano are closed. Among them, OHIMA is a restaurant that makes me very happy. The pizza is delicious. It's fantastic. They also have spaghetti with tomato sauce, which is not on the menu. I always order tomato sauce 🍅 at restaurants because this sauce is a testament to the chef's skill. It was fantastic. A real restaurant.

09/06/2026: Hidden Gem in Positano! Do yourself a favour and make the extra effort getting yourself up the hill (walk,bus, taxi etc) and coming to grab lunch or dinner here. Staff are friendly and provide great service. Views are excellent, service is fast, and the food is incredible. All for a very affordable price. So good I came back all 4 days I was here, and they offer takeaway which is very quick too! Paying for a taxi to get here and getting food here is probably still cheaper than getting food down in the centre of town, and in my opinion it’s better quality here, and you get the view!

29/04/2026: My wife and I dined at Li Galli while on our honeymoon in Positano. The restraunt was beautiful and the views were spectacular. The attention to detail was perfect, and the food spectacular. This was a once in a lifetime-worthy experience and the food literally brought us to tears. Such an amazing experience. The Chef even came out to to congratulate us on our marriage. Truly unforgettable.

29/04/2026: Unbelievable. We frequent Michelin starred restaurants. This was a top one for us. On vacation with friends and we were all excited to visit Galli. Perfecto!From the welcome to the service to the atmosphere to the rooftop drinks to the private dining experience and omg the food. The food each plate Chef Savio Perna takes you on a tasting journey. What an experience!!! Truly blessed to experience. We will back. Some of the comments are laughable. Anything that could be done to make us more comfortable was done or offered. They took such great care of us and meeting everybody, including Chef we had a hard time leaving. Go enjoy!

07/06/2026: We had our elopement through them and it was an absolutely incredible experience. Staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. The property is clean, picturesque, has incredible views of Positano, and excellent room selection. We very much enjoyed the infinity pool, bar, and the food. When we return to Positano we will be staying here again without a doubt. Thank you for everything.

23/12/2025: An incredible place to stay in Positano. We stayed here during our honeymoon (in the honeymoon suite) and our room was amazing. You have your own private terrace and pool overlooking Positano, two bathrooms and a kitchen. The shared pools at the hotel/villa are also really nice and not crowded. The location is ideal, you are close to a staircase that will take you all the way down to the beach. The staff were so sweet, they gifted us with a painting on our last day to congratulate us on our wedding and honeymoon.
