Angelo - Pasticceria 1970 In Positano

Highly Recommend: does not have a lot of gelato choices, but overall this little shop is great! Had amazing sorbetto in a lemon, slightly cheaper than other places just down the road and other deserts items were also just as good as anywhere else. If you stay nearby no need to go to a further shop, this will do great.

I googled best bakery near where I was staying in Positano and this place came up. I was very excited but after trying the croissants and the latte macchiato and nothing special about the macchiato, I wasn't impressed at all. They didn't taste fresh at all which was a big disappointment. Maybe my bad luck, but the lady is sweet. It was a rainy morning and I chatted with her for a little till the rain stopped.

Every night we popped into Angelo - Pasticceria for a dessert to-go to enjoy on our hotel terrace. Every pastry we tried was a delight. I highly recommend coming in for a tasty treat.

The BEST gelato I’ve had on my trip to Italy. The chocolate gelato has bits of actual chocolate in it. The pistachio cookie was also really yummy. I’ll be coming back in the morning for an iced coffee!

Beautiful little bakery our hotel owner antonio recommended to us. They sell out quickly as it's small batch production as everything is made fresh in the morning
