Went for dinner on July 19th of this month. It was a truly extraordinary experience. The food and wine were incredibly polite, the service was fast, and the owner was truly a wonderful person. For dessert, I recommend the lemon delight 🍋 You won't regret it, I'll be back. Thanks again, you're FANTASTIC 😎

Located directly opposite the Paestum, you might expect a tourist trap, but not at all. Quality local charcuterie and cheeses at a more than reasonable price.

We went here for lunch. Although it's a touristy place because it's right across the street from the temples of Paestum, the food is very good. The charcuterie and cheese platter is really generous and comprehensive, but the salads could perhaps be a little larger in portions. The Angus burger was good, served with well-fried fries. The staff was very friendly.

Fantastic hospitality and amazing food. Excellent quality, with a view of the temples. Prices were reasonable and actually lower than expected.

Great restaurant with delicious salads on a 32 degrees Celsius day. Great cheese selection!! Lots to choose from. Service was outstanding and friendly. Recommended!

12/07/2026: A fantastic find near Amalfi! Il Veliero has a charming nautical atmosphere, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. The food is excellent and much more reasonably priced than in neighboring Amalfi. We ordered the grilled fish and the Caprese salad, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. If you're looking for great food without the exorbitant prices of Amalfi, this is the place. Highly recommended!
05/07/2026: We made a reservation. Cozy restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner; the lasagna, risotto, eggplant, dessert, and house white wine were all delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
