10/05/2026: Central location. Reservations are essential to secure a table and avoid the wait. The staff is young and friendly, but above all, helpful, which isn't typical for everyone. The pizza is a delight, both the plain and the specialty versions. The dough is light, not heavy, and they definitely use good flour. Perfectly cooked. The space is small, but large enough to enjoy an excellent specialty. The only thing I would recommend to the staff is to point out or explain the QR code functionality to customers, especially those less familiar with it. Everything else is perfect.

13/05/2026: We went on a quiet night to this wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the seafood Bolognese which was exquisite followed by the turbot on lemon sauce, also great. Lovely!

09/05/2026: I discovered this place almost by chance, but it turned out to be an absolutely perfect choice. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful design conveyed a pleasant sense of attention to detail, further confirmed by the impeccable service: the staff was professional, attentive, and always friendly. ​The real star, however, was the cuisine. The use of the highest-quality ingredients, handled with skill and passion, was evident; each course arrived perfectly cooked, with balanced flavors and inviting presentation. It's rare to find such a perfect balance between the freshness of the ingredients and the execution technique. ​Everything was offered at a fair price, well-proportioned to the quality of the food. It was an extremely positive experience that I can recommend without hesitation. I will definitely return to explore the menu further.

20/05/2026: Grandpa's birthday lunch last Sunday at this restaurant. A family-friendly place, attentive service, and truly interesting dishes, from appetizers to dessert. I'll definitely be back for dinner to try their pizza. I highly recommend it.

28/02/2026: We had a delicious pizza here, you MUST try the pizza Vittorio named after the owners husband. It's an adorable little place run by lovely people. Mara welcomed so warmly and by the end of the meal we were friends. It's refreshing to see places like this still exist

03/05/2026: We visited this osteria and really enjoyed it. Excellent value for money. We started with a generous and well-prepared appetizer, then tried two first courses, both very good. This was followed by a mixed meat dish, all well-cooked and flavorful. We finished with a dessert and amari, rounding out the meal in the best possible way. The real highlight, however, was the finale: a selection of cheeses brought by the lady, truly delicious and of high quality. Attentive service, they stopped by several times to check on everything. Overall, a very positive experience: you eat well, you spend a fair amount, and you leave satisfied. Recommended!

02/05/2026: After about a year, I regretfully have to change my review. I've almost always had my pizza here, but lately I feel the pizzeria has changed. The pizza, while excellent (certainly among the best in the province), I find it a bit too oily. The seasonal version, always with a double consistency, is a bit predictable in my opinion. Overall, it's not to my taste, but it's fair to say (this didn't affect the review; it's a separate note). The atmosphere is a bit chaotic and noisy; often, between the noise and loud music, it's difficult to even hear the other person at the table. Table service remains fairly quick, attentive, and courteous despite the busy schedule. The main factor contributing to the negative review is poor communication regarding reservations, as I twice found myself having to pay for parking and then not finding a spot. On Saturdays, reservations are available at 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM. This, anywhere in the world, should mean that there are a limited number of free tables available for seating at 8:00 PM sharp or with a 10-minute grace period; instead, it apparently means that you have to book at 8:00 PM if you want to eat at 8:30 PM, to the detriment of those who, wanting to eat between 8:30 and 9:00 PM, sign up at 8:20 PM, perhaps expecting a 30 or 40-minute wait, but instead end up with a two-hour wait, because at 8:30 PM they're still taking 8:00 PM reservations.

02/05/2026: I went with my family to celebrate my birthday in a casual setting, and this is a pizzeria with a welcoming, well-kept atmosphere, perfect for both dinner and a quiet evening with friends. The pizza is simply excellent! The dough is well-leavened, light and easy to digest, with quality ingredients. The fried foods are excellent, tasty, with a crispy and harmonious breading. The staff is kind, attentive, and smiling, and the service is excellent without being intrusive. There was no wait; everything was perfect, based on the time each table needed, even though the place was busy on a Wednesday. Excellent value for money; in short, it's a place to choose without any worries about wait times or prices. A place to return to! Highly recommended. Thanks, Angioletto

14/05/2026: We did the ravioli cooking class. The food was excellent, they were playing great Italian music, and the view while cooking is unbeatable. The chef and restaurant workers were very sweet, too. Prosecco was flowing the entire time, made the cooking class very enjoyable! Thank you La Gavitella

13/05/2026: Our pasta-making experience at La Gavitella was nothing short of magical and became one of the absolute highlights of our Amalfi girls’ trip celebrating special birthdays. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly thought out. We were welcomed with delicious coffee and croissants overlooking the most breathtaking views imaginable. It is one of the most stunning settings we experienced in the Amalfi Coast. The atmosphere throughout was incredible: free-flowing Prosecco, music, laughter, dancing with friends, and such warm, genuine hospitality from the entire team. The pasta-making itself was so much fun, authentic, interactive, and beautifully organised. It felt far more than just a cooking class; it was a full experience and memory we’ll treasure forever. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the photos taken throughout the day to the certificates, aprons, recipe books, and gift bags we were given to take home. What truly made the experience extra special was the kindness of the owner, who even took us back by boat to Praiano marina afterwards, saving us the long climb back up the hill which was such a thoughtful touch that perfectly sums up the level of care and hospitality shown. And as if the day couldn’t get any more surreal, when we arrived back at the marina we bumped into Matthew McConaughey, who is currently filming the new Netflix movie Positano! It honestly felt like something out of a film itself. We genuinely cannot recommend this experience enough. Incredible value for money, unforgettable views, amazing people, fantastic food and drinks, and memories we’ll all talk about for years. If you’re visiting Praiano or the Amalfi Coast, this is an absolute must-do.

01/12/2025: This place was phenomenal. Every single detail was perfect - the setting, the food, the wine and the service. We were thoroughly impressed with everything. Albino is extremely knowledgeable and selected an outstanding wine and Serena's dishes were divine. Thoroughly recommend!

10/10/2025: On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, a bright, full-moon evening, we were guests at the Ristorante "baglio." For starters, we enjoyed a freshly caught scampi tartare on crisp, aromatic leaf salad and a portion of flavorful eggplant cubes with tomatoes and Parmesan. For the main course, we had freshly caught lobster with tagliatelle, and for dessert, we chose a lemon cake drenched in fine limoncello. Everything was masterfully and tastefully prepared by Serena in the kitchen and served by her husband, a competent and caring host. All this in the unique ambiance of the terrace with a panoramic view of the sea.
