We stumbled upon this quaint restaurant🍽️ almost by chance and it was a delightful discovery. The owners are incredibly kind and ready to accommodate any needs, especially those with intolerances, including gluten🌾. A good selection of traditionally cooked dishes. If you let us know in advance, they can make homemade gluten-free pasta🍝. For all visitors to Cilento: don't miss a stop at this ancient Bourbon tavern.

Talk about home-made.... The cavatelli were exceptional, the tomato sauce... oh... you must have had someone who knew how to cook to imagine that. The lemon cake was full of cream, and I must admit we struggled to share it (don't make our mistake, take a portion each, because once you've tasted it, you'll never want to share it again). The lady was proud to have made it without vials, and it was digested without any problems, confirming that they weren't used. It goes back to the concept of home-made: our grandmothers didn't use them. I must mention the potatoes, as a raw ingredient; I had to bring some home to plant! The warm welcome was there right from the phone call to book. Excellent cleanliness. If we ever return to that area, it will be our first choice.

What a lovely husband & wife run restaurant. We visited here after visiting to the Caves and were blown away with the home made food made fresh. The flavours and quality were delicious. Very friendly hosts and were very accommodating. The menu is changed daily which is nice and they were happy to make vegetarian dishes for us. If you are in the area or even want a lovely meal then make sure you visit.

We met the owners by chance last summer, one morning by the sea. When they mentioned this trattoria, saying "Yes, but how many people are there," my wife almost thought it was a direct question, asking how many of us there were. The restaurant was described to us as a genuine place, with the flavors of times gone by. Intrigued, after about six months, today, I finally managed to go. I can say that every word the owner spoke that morning by the sea wasn't just a boast about his business, but an authentic reality. A unique place, difficult to describe, because nowadays it's increasingly rare to truly describe and rediscover the flavors of times gone by. Perhaps the only phrase that could convey the idea is "exquisiteness in simple flavors." Signora Lucia holds in her hands the gift of tradition and ancient, authentic flavors. Everything is homemade, with a unique and delicate flavor. Fair and honest prices. Warm and welcoming staff: the owners, husband and wife, make you feel at home. It's definitely worth it. I highly recommend it.
