The sweets and cookies are indescribable: not only beautiful to look at, but incredibly delicious! You can sense authentic artisanal care, born of passion and research.
I shamelessly admit that, as usual, I tried to buy practically everything 😄... but it's impossible to do otherwise when everything calls to you and captivates you like this! A place that is not just a bakery, but a complete sensory experience. Absolutely worth experiencing again and again.

09/10/2025: The takeout food is excellent, and not only that, the location has also improved significantly, so eating in is also nice, with parking..... the quality of both the products and the way it's cooked is excellent. Unfortunately, you can't ask for the price.....
17/08/2025: I've tried their takeout dishes several times, made with quality ingredients. The cuisine is tasty and simple, never heavy. In addition to the delicious pasta dishes (all made with ingredients from their artisanal pasta factory), I recommend the vegetables (artichokes, zucchini, and eggplant especially), as well as the gateau and various meat dishes (meatballs and stuffed meatloaf). I'm eager to try the bistro-style restaurant as soon as possible.

29/03/2026: This is our second time at this restaurant for Genovese, and it's the second time we, as Neapolitans, have found it excellent. The restaurant, located in the heart of the historic center, is charming and welcoming. Special mention goes to the two Giuseppes, the chef and the waiter, who are truly kind and friendly, as well as excellent in their fields of expertise. The wine and side dishes are good. The price is fair: four meat-based first courses, three side dishes, a bottle of Lacrima Cristi, and a bottle of water, €84. Highly recommended.
28/03/2026: We start at the restaurant entrance. The waiter hadn't even noticed us, so we had to signal.
We order a menu with gnocchi with ragù, which we get with Pachino tomatoes. My daughter's meatballs arrive cold. When I ask to heat them up for my son, they don't arrive, including the side dish.
A little annoyed, I go to the cashier to pay. I mention it to him, and he, with a little smile, tells us that they must have forgotten it and he was alone (I point out that two tables had already finished). I didn't even look at the receipt.
When I look closely, I see that they charged me for a double portion of meatballs, in addition to the ones that never arrived.
I don't recommend it.

03/04/2026: I went this evening to a small and welcoming place but the wait was too long and there were also few people. The fried food was delicious especially the frittatina but the pizzas were dry without a drizzle of oil.

First, the waiter. A bald man of about 65 who, I don't know if he was having a bad day or if he's always like that, but he was clearly in no condition to serve customers. He greeted us arrogantly and rushed us to place our order. Then he started arguing loudly with a street performer.
Second, the restaurant itself. We asked for sparkling water and they brought us still water. The food was cold, and honestly, after reading other reviews, I'm glad I didn't say anything. Who knows what they would have done to the water or my food if I had complained.
In short, a very bad experience. Not recommended at all.

02/01/2026: As expected, it's a complete rip-off for tourists, with astronomical prices. An espresso costs €3 instead of the €1.30 listed on the menu. The owner is watching videos on his phone and is practically unapproachable.
22/11/2025: The pizza and other dishes are delicious. The renovated restaurant is very welcoming. I highly recommend it. It's family-run, and they're friendly and helpful.

09/04/2026: We had a family lunch at this restaurant. Pizza, Spagetti, Pasta and desert/tiramisu is very good quality and taste is awesome. The service is great we expecting the cost rather low but despite it we enjoyed the food and ambience.
