02/10/2025: Bad experience. Definitely avoid if you are an American tourist - they will bring you food you didn't order and then charge you for it!

30/09/2025: We were robbed lol. We ordered the "starter platter" (a $25 dish to share) and they brought over $250 worth of food - one of every appetizer. We were turned off by the subpar quality of the appetizers (especially the rubbery calamari), so we asked for the check after that, and they tried really hard to push more food on us. Not many patrons, but lots of hovering waiters. Avoid at all costs.

28/09/2025: Extraordinary experience, yesterday I celebrated my son's 18th birthday, nothing prepared in advance, I booked a table, asked for a cake and everything was magical. The place, the view, the restaurant are breathtaking, the food stratospheric (we are still ecstatic). The staff is exquisite. Anyone like us who wants to treat themselves must go to Lucullo. "Absolutely".

08/10/2025: The service was fine. However, I ordered the Napoli pizza, and the anchovies were drowning in salt and very uneven on the pizza, making some bites horrifying. Overall OKish, but you should have better options along the street. Edit: after having 4 more pizzas in other pizzerias in Napoli, I have to lower the score of this place.

07/10/2025: Not only did we have a delicious meal, but we also had a truly wonderful time at the restaurant! Many thanks to the super friendly waiters! A lovely, relaxed restaurant amidst all the hustle and bustle.

Their attention to detail and the attentive service they provide deserve 10 stars. Danilo and Francesca are two wonderful people who put their heart and soul into organizing unforgettable evenings.

13/08/2025: Now it's all about the name, or maybe when I went, the chef had a fight with his wife, or maybe he just wasn't the best... spaghetti with clams where you can taste the sauce added to the dish and it didn't really go with the spaghetti. Was it our mistake to ask for one spaghetti and the other linguine? Too bad. The bill is absolutely unjustified: €150. Two seafood first courses, too much even if they were excellent, with a €30 bottle of white wine. P.S.: Lots of empty shells... too many empty shells... especially if you pay €150 for them.

04/10/2025: We arrived in the evening, two couples of friends for three nights during a trip to the south. The trip to the place was very challenging, we drove on ancient Roman roads when there was no more than two cars together. The Wiz took us on winding roads. Only when we arrived did they explain to us that it is not advisable to drive according to the Wiz in these areas. 🤣🤣🤣 We were welcomed from the first moment like family members. We went to have dinner at their restaurant. Everything was delicious and the service was very kind. We were very happy that we did not have to drive to look for a restaurant after the road we took until we arrived. Later in the days we felt like family. An Italian family with roots and respects guests. We were in a room with a sea view which was lovely. The friends took the room to the road which was less successful. In the morning we walked around the yard. The family was busy harvesting and we received explanations for every question. Salvadora - one of the sons who speaks excellent English, gave us useful advice for our trips. Great breakfast! It was a shame that we had to leave after three days. A big thank you to the wonderful family for the cozy, welcoming place they provide.

29/07/2025: A magical experience, in a magical place with an incredible family, led by the wonderful Nonna Luisa and her charming dog, Flash! The service from the very first moment was unbeatable. They were very attentive to every detail and always had a smile on their faces. They made us feel like they were our own family. The location just outside Sorrento allowed us to travel efficiently by car to the different tourist spots along the Amalfi Coast. The breakfast was very complete; we needed gluten-free products, and they quickly went and bought them for us :). We only wish we had known the price of the pool before going… we didn't know it wasn't included, and we were surprised by the bill. We will return soon for another visit to the Amalfi Coast, and we have no doubt it will be at Antico Casale Colli di San Pietro. Best regards!

28/09/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to a friend and found everything to be truly excellent: prompt and prompt service with no waiting, and, above all, fair prices. Quality is the winning factor. I had the opportunity to try an excellent first course and a superb steak. The side dishes always lived up to expectations. In short, a place worth visiting to discover the flavors of our land.

12/09/2025: Truly beautiful location with separate indoor rooms and a beautiful outdoor gazebo. Excellent food and reasonable prices. Very helpful wait staff. I highly recommend the owners take better care of the outdoor areas, which have great potential given the space and beauty.
