Although we only ate 2 cookies, they were delicious and we were served by a nice lady. Despite the many negative reviews, the cookies were fresh and filling.

Just passing through for a snack. The staff at the counter and at the cash register were friendly and very distracted. We saw people leave because they weren't taken seriously. What we ate was good.

I came here a few times for dinner and it was one of the best experiences of my trip in Sorrento. The young guy standing outside explained the menu with all the chef specials and he suggested the linguine with lobster and cherry tomatoes. The staff is very attentive and friendly and we felt welcome.

We had dinner at Veneruso and really enjoyed sitting outside. It was the perfect spot to relax, people watch, and enjoy a nice breeze while waiting for our meal. The service wasn’t particularly attentive, and our food took longer than expected to arrive, but once it did, it was definitely worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and didn’t disappoint. We also managed to grab a refreshing dessert afterward, which was the perfect way to end the meal. While the service could be improved, the quality of the food and the enjoyable outdoor atmosphere made it a memorable dining experience.

Nice restaurant. We had dinner in the terrace, street full of people, nice ambient and food. We ordered 2 plates of pasta and it was a nice decision. Restaurant was full, it was July 2026, so.... fresh fish and see food. We waited 10 minutes for the table we wanted. Everything was OK. I recommend it.

21/05/2026: An absolutely perfect stay from beginning to end! The welcome was warm and professional; we immediately felt at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped, with truly appreciated attention to detail. The rooftop is simply incredible: a magnificent view, an exceptional atmosphere, and the perfect place to fully enjoy your stay. Everything was in place for an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the entire team for this superb experience; we will definitely be back!
20/05/2026: Went for a drink at the rooftop-bar. My drink was excellent, the service attentive, professional, friendly. Atmosphere relaxed. Views across the rooftops overlooking the sea: breathtaking. When in Sorrento, stop by for a drink, or two, or more ;)

Trattoria da Vittorio

02/06/2026: It took me back in time... Yes, the food was good, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Classic Neapolitan cuisine, a trattoria I would happily return to.
30/05/2026: A small Italian kitchen under a suburban rail station outside of Napoli...this place is like Jiro dreams of sushi if Jiro was Italian and his son was hostile to English speakers. You do need some basic Italian to get through a meal here (which I do not have, so I would up with basically the dunce meal...no pasta, 3 delicious meatballs and the best salted and mashed broccoli i've had since I was a kid). I would have liked to try the bolognese and talked to the father and son duo about how the neighborhood changed and what their retirement plans look like, but it wasn't in the cards. I did get a pat on the shoulder at one point towards the end of the meal as I sopped up the tomato sauce with bread, a warm enough acknowledgement that, if I work on my Italiano and find myself back in this corner of Napoli, I'm welcome back to try again. And based on the quality and flavor of what I did have, there's a solid chance I try to make that happen.
