Salumeria Buono 1934 In Napoli

05/08/2026: The hotel and it’s history are incredible as well as the view from this restaurant. The food was good, some great and others decent. All of our appetizers were tasty- the salmon, the eggplant spring rolls, and the pizza bread taco. The lobster pasta was nothing special- wish they gave a full lobster tail instead of just half. The chateaubriand was a bit tougher than expected for a filet cut. The doppio speghetti was good but the eggplant conserva was unchewable. With that said, the tiramisu was incredible. Unfortunately the service was not great. There were a few instances that we felt let down by the service. Also, the bathroom route is a maze with no signage and limited instruction.

01/08/2026: "A simply perfect experience! We stayed at Terrazza dei Barbanti and were enchanted. The terrace is wonderful, with a spectacular view of Naples that alone is worth the visit. The food is nothing short of excellent, and the aperitivo was simply top-notch, with attention to every detail. Special praise goes to the waiter, Giuseppe: disarmingly kind, extremely polite, and endowed with an overwhelming warmth that made us feel pampered from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Naples with good food, breathtaking views, and impeccable hospitality. We'll definitely be back!"
