The food tonight was very good and deserves a 4 out of 5 points rating. However, the service was beyond good. In fact, it was excellent. Luigi was the sole waiter on the floor, and had to deal with 8-10 tables. He had to juggle the demands of multiple groups as such and did it very well. He made us feel welcome and served us promptly and expertly, despite the demands placed upon him during the 7:00 to 8:00 PM time slot. Great job Luigi!

The only place that was open at 9pm on Sunday night. Mostly empty, but the waiter was lovely. Food was also excellent. Didn't quite understand the explanation regarding the chef. He is German? He is called Giovanni? Either way he cooks well. EDIT: We liked this place so much we came back again and found out some more positive information. One is that one of the delivery staff is a pensioner who drives around in a little Italian car with a lady who must be his wife. The second is that the restaurant serves huge pizzas of some sort that come in their own giant box. So big that they have to be laid out on the back seat of the delivery car. A must visit!

Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. Very good pizza with a fragrant and flavorful dough and equally excellent toppings. The waiter was really kind and professional, highly recommended!

The highlight of Meta. We visited three times and each time food and service were outstanding. I wish I lived closer to this amazing restaurant.

The best restaurant of our trip to Sorrento and the surrounding area 🤩 We had bruschetta, crudo and treccia, spaghetti alle vongole, gnocchi alla sorrentina, and tiramisu. With two coffees, service, and everything else, it came to about €70 for both of us: very reasonable compared to other prices in the area. Everything was delicious, even simple dishes like bruschetta and gnocchi alla sorrentina. Highly recommended. A big thank you to the waiter on Saturday evening, November 22nd, who was incredibly friendly, cordial, and punctual. It was a pleasure to have dinner with you.

My pasta was phenomenal (smoked cheese) but my wife’s lasagna came out cold, then was severely microwaved to resemble a pancake. Coperto fee was 5e per person. Our waiter was also doing deliveries so maybe that was the reason. Not sure. Anyway we split my meal and finished before hers returned.
