28/07/2024: What a nice surprise. The place seems hidden, but as soon as you enter you have a pleasant feeling. Soft light and background music. We were actually accompanied by a friend who knew the restaurant. They made us sit. The waiter listed a few dishes for us and we left. We preferred some tastings and concluded with two portions of mixed fried foods. We tasted some very good dishes with attention to detail. Service with polite and courteous staff. The kitchen room is open. What can I say, an excellent restaurant. Good job, everyone. We'll see again.

22/08/2024: Staff making fun of diners, making inappropriate and tasteless jokes. Homemade appetizer with anemic fried food and overcooked octopus. Frying pan full of used oil. Very salty and inedible Genoese pasta. Salty bill (like pasta) for the quality and cuisine they offer.

06/08/2024: To say excellent is really an understatement, we ate this evening, the owner kindly welcomed us and Vincenzo took care of the orders and table management in an impeccable and kind manner. We ate fried anchovies, formidable octopus salad, excellent peppered mussels, dry and crunchy fried calamari, and finally linguine with octopus and Piennolo tomatoes. All very good, I highly recommend it. We will return again as soon as we return to this beautiful city!

07/08/2024: Ho trascorso con mio marito 5 giorni a Sorrento e per ben tre volte ho pranzato o cenato da Nello. Cucina ottima della tradizione sorrentina, prezzi modici e pietanze eccellenti. Gestori accoglienti e servizio rapido.

30/07/2024: Trattoria gestita da personale cordiale e gentile. Il locale ci è stato consigliato dall’host del B&B in cui pernottavamo. Che dire..pesce incredibilmente fresco e ben cucinato!! (Una menzione particolare agli spaghetti alla Nello e al calamaro che c’era nella grigliata di pesce !!!). Conto super onesto 60€ in 2 (con 1 bottiglia di Falanghina). Se dovessimo ricapitare in zona ci torneremmo sicuramente. Non aspettatevi un ambiente elegante e formale, ma anche questo aspetto fa parte del suo bello! CONSIGLIATISSIMO

05/08/2024: The best food I had in Italy! Pasta genovese was simply wow. So caramelized… I had it with meat separately but with it together it must be as good! Pasta alla Nerano was very good too. Thank you!!!

22/07/2024: Before boarding the 7.30pm ferry to return home to Latina I was looking for a pizza place by the slice and by chance I came across this very nice and clean place...welcomed with sympathy and kindness by the owner and the various guys who in a short time created two delicious round pizzas

21/07/2024: Amazing pizza right in the port. We stopped here before our ferry and were not disappointed! We have eaten very well in Naples and ischia and this place is definitely up there - don’t be put off by the port / touristy location. It was lunch when we went so very hot but they have air conditioning inside and the drinks were very cold. We will be back!

25/08/2024: I was disappointed by the service for a couple of years that I missed but as I see the situation gets worse and worse. I'm sorry because some time ago the food was very good and the service was impeccable. I don't think all of this is open to challenge. You have waiters but only to those who manage it.

16/08/2024: The place is very nice and welcoming. The owner, kind and friendly, is very attentive to guests. We had an appetizer, gnocchi and fried fish. All delicious. In particular, the fry was prepared with very fresh fish (probably catch of the day). The owner carefully explained to us what was inside and how it was prepared. Furthermore, the prices are really honest. I highly recommend this restaurant!

22/07/2024: Very nice manager, menu in 4 different languages. Fresh charcuterie, simple but delicious dishes. The hotel “grand hôtel oriente” recommended this restaurant to us and it was really the best restaurant during our stay in Naples.

20/08/2024: Be careful with the menu in Italian, the allergens are not at all clear and if you order something and it does not contain the foods that you can eat, they will charge you twice for the dish without any problem. They have done this to me with the Caprice salad. The food included tomato, cheese and Basilico, which in Spanish is only a spice. When he brought me the dish I realized that it had pesto. I was allergic to it and I told him that I couldn't have it since I'm allergic to nuts. So the chef came and told me that if I translated the menu into Spanish, he would put pesto and not basil. I repeat allergens indicated very poorly, with numbers, nothing to do with traditional nomenclature with drawings. Very unhappy with this place

21/08/2024: Profondamente deluso, siamo andati in 5 con l'intento di mangiare la zuppa di cozze consigliata da uno dei commensali, risultato: delusione totale, un misero tentacolo di polipo, un gambero, 4 pezzetti di crostino di un cm quadrato con porzione di cozze da fare ridere, tre brocche di vino da mezzo litro ed una bottiglia d'acqua. Totale 25 euro a persona, in tutta onestà sono stato in locali che con soli 5 euro in più quasi te la dovevi portare a casa perché non c'è la facevi a mangiarla ,inoltre cameriere invadente, devi stare attento che ti porta via il piatto perché sembra intenzionato ed interessato a portare altro cibo.

17/08/2024: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare al ristorante Mare in Tavola e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata davvero memorabile. Il piatto di gnocchi ai frutti di mare che ho assaggiato è stato una vera delizia. Gli gnocchi erano perfettamente cotti, morbidi e leggeri, accompagnati da un sugo ricco e saporito a base di pomodoro e pesce fresco. Le vongole e le cozze erano preparate con grande cura, mantenendo tutto il loro sapore naturale di mare. Il mix di frutti di mare era generoso e ogni boccone era un'esplosione di sapore. Anche i pomodorini aggiungevano un tocco di dolcezza e freschezza al piatto, bilanciando perfettamente la sapidità del pesce. Il ristorante offre un'atmosfera accogliente e rilassata, perfetta per una cena in famiglia o tra amici. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con il personale sempre attento e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Se siete amanti del pesce e della cucina italiana, Mare in Tavola è una tappa obbligata. Consiglio vivamente di provare gli gnocchi ai frutti di mare, un piatto che vi lascerà sicuramente soddisfatti e con il desiderio di tornare al più presto.
