10/10/2025: The pizza was decent, nothing special. However, when it came time to pay, we were charged higher prices than those listed on the menu: €5.50 and €6 pizzas magically became €7 and €8 on the bill. We were told they had just increased the prices, but after pointing out that it's unfair to charge different prices without notifying customers, they finally corrected the mistake. It's a shame, because it doesn't take much to ruin the experience.
10/10/2025: Their potato pasta special was phenomenal, delicious, special, unique, I recommend it to everyone.

18/04/2026: Restaurant in the Spanish Quarter. Good value for money; we ordered pasta alle vongole, gnocchi, and seafood pasta. My son's dish was a little too oily, but it was fine. For dessert, we had tiramisu, and we weren't disappointed at all. The service was excellent and friendly. Everything was perfect. I recommend it.

04/04/2026: Magical place. Well worth the walk uphill. Very friendly waitress/resident. Super nice food and amazing surroundings. We were a family of 4 tried the rabbit (another reason to go up there ) and great wine. Highly recommended !!!

02/04/2026: Cute cafe that was very popular (people queuing for tables outside!). They offer a lunch menu which includes a combo of 2 dishes for 7€ or 3 for 9€. The dishes are a slightly odd mix of salads, pasta, houmous, veggies but hit the spot and such good value. There’s also main salads and vegetable burgers on the rest of the menu. We couldn’t stay for dessert but the menu looked great - cheesecake, cannoli and more!
20/03/2026: We just wanted to have a coffee and a light snack, just the two of us, and ended up paying a whopping €17.80. The Zeppelin di San Giuseppe cost €5! and tasted like nothing. We also had to pay a €2 service charge for the 10 minutes we were there, and they offered us water, which is usually free with coffee, but charged us €1 for it. The atmosphere is unfortunately very unpleasant, and we couldn't even sit outside. The cappuccino was okay, but rather below average and, at €3.50, also a bit more expensive than in nearby cafes. So, all in all, I can't recommend it.

22/03/2026: My wife and I have been coming to La Cantinella for 48 years (I was 18) and I can confirm that it is the number one restaurant in the city.
Decade after decade, they have introduced valuable innovations to the menu while maintaining tradition.
Everything is always top-notch!
The courtesy and professionalism of the staff is one of the things that distinguishes La Cantinella from many other new, "improvised" restaurants.
The carefully selected clientele ensures that you find yourself among respectable, high-quality people and high-end tourists staying in nearby 5-star hotels.

The restaurant is really small, with only 7 tables.
This gives a great feeling of familiarity, especially since the service is truly attentive and thoughtful from the two waitresses.
I would come here for a first date.
2. Exceptional food, 101% Neapolitan taverna.
A purely Neapolitan menu that doesn't sell out.
Excellent fried food, the parmigiana seems to be made by our grandmother, which we all dream of.
The first courses are delicious and plentiful.
Excellent tagliata.
3. Various homemade desserts that I haven't tried, but it's still a big plus.
4. Prices are moderately low compared to the average of restaurants in the Vomero area.
In short, an exceptional value.
A charming experience.
