The sfogliatelle is delicious and crispy.
The maritozzo is fresh and mild.
The cappuccino is creamy.
All this in a magnificent gallery setting, Baroque style, with impeccable service.

01/02/2026: Not only is the service terrible, but the sign at the entrance of the Apetol is a scam.
28/12/2025: We tourists were naive not to ask first, but there were no prices displayed, and for two small cokes and two coffees they asked us 15 euros without a receipt, it seemed excessive to us.

04/01/2026: We were here today, and the gentleman was very rude. There was no information about not being able to sit at a table when buying food at the bar. He yelled at us. Some of us ordered food at a table and were allowed to sit, while others ordered at the bar at the same restaurant and weren't allowed to sit.

The guy asking for customers at the door was extremely annoying. He annoyed us by saying korean which no one understand. Thanks to him won't ever go inside^^

17/11/2025: Unfortunately, we made the mistake of not asking about the prices beforehand – they weren't displayed anywhere. We also had to wait a very long time for service. We were initially charged €20 for two 0.33-liter beers. Only after I inquired was the amount reduced to €12. The items on the bill were incomprehensible. Overall, it seems like a rip-off to me.
10/11/2025: The classic tourist trap that ruins Italy's image. No prices displayed (creative strategy, I imagine). Two takeaway coffees + a day-old sandwich: €15.
Not an Italian tradition, but a tradition of ripping off tourists.
Italy deserves better. Tourists too.

02/03/2026: We're from out of town, and we decide to get two separate trays of sfogliatelle to take away: when we got home, one was missing from each.
Two out of two isn't a coincidence, but a habit to rip off those who are passing by.
Count the pieces in front of them because they're being sneaky. Never again.

24/08/2025: I called at 9:00 PM for an order, it's 11:06 PM I called to cancel the order. I called back after so many times they said 10 minutes and it will come, but nothing ever arrived at my house, I have 2 children waiting for the sandwich, you suck! I put one star to leave a review otherwise I wouldn't have put it.

08/01/2026: More of a rip-off than a bar: croissants cost 7 euros, coffee at a table costs 6.50 euros, and cappuccino 8 euros. These are insane prices for a bar in a port... and if you add that it's winter and it's raining... not even Piazza Navona in Rome costs this much. Actually, I've traveled a lot, but I've only ever been ripped off like this here. I can't imagine eating a sandwich... you'd need a mortgage. Embarrassing or shameful... Choose the adjective you like best!!!

There were five of us, which was a shame.
02/11/2025: Terrible food quality.
The pasta I ordered was undercooked, not properly cooked, but genuinely uncooked—the kind that makes Italians frown.
The appetizers were so salty they were nauseating, and overcooked, like they hadn't sold anything all day.
A bottle of water is 4 euros, and drinks are 5 euros. Don't come here; they also charge an extra 6 euros for seating. What looks like 20-odd yuan suddenly becomes almost 40. Don't go to the place next door either; they're a rip-off. Just swallow your pride, buy something from the ATM, and eat it on the floor.

04/01/2026: Worst place we've eaten, 4 couples, 3 omelettes, €40 thrown away, and after pointing out that the products were inadequate, they didn't care at all, be wary and leave even if you see it crowded it's only because of the overload of tourists and they take advantage of it to sell off stuff that is not bad, but of a very poor quality. Horrible experience
03/01/2026: I ordered a cuoppo di mare and it was cooked perfectly to me. I guess some places give you larger portions but I thought that the size was appropriate for a nice snack. I had about 12 pieces of seafood which were an assortment of fried squid, fish, and shrimp plus a panzarotti at the bottom and a zeppolelle at the top of the cone. It did not see any microwaves - I only saw food coming out of the fryer from the back. The cost was €8 which seemed ok to me for the amount of food I received. The seafood seemed fresh and was not chewy.
Service: efficient and straightforward which I expected- they were busy.

You order one thing...and they bring you another...not to mention the prices....
When we personally complained to the owner...to whom we pointed out the order wasn't being respected....and the slightly "out of line" price...the response was
"Our prices are displayed..."...not understanding that the problem "wasn't the price"...but the service....
...and still €10 for a sandwich with supermarket oil bread...(and not even warm.)... Unspeakable....
P.s. In any case, he took €5 off the bill....

25/05/2025: Torniamo qui perché volevamo una conferma la abbiamo avuta alla grande.Sempre un ambiente accogliente con un servizio in sala attento ai dettagli, e poi una cena ottima coccolati dall'inizio alla fine il pesce alla brace delicatissimo le linguine alle vongole con datterino gialle divine , come il resto dessert, vino da dolce il tutto very ok.
06/05/2025: Il posto è sempre accogliente, raffinato seppur semplice. Il servizio è top. Fantastica la tartare di ricciola e il pescato del giorno e’ una certezza. Carta dei vini ottima, curata da un perfetto sommelier. Prezzo giusto.
