The staff are professional and knowledgeable, with great manners. Service may be a bit slow, but that means the dishes are freshly prepared, which is a sign of excellent cuisine. 05/11/2025: Restaurant found with the help of the Lonely Planet guide. A very good experience. It's worth the effort. The restaurant is located in the upper part of the Spanish Quarter, away from the tourist crowds, yet right in the heart of the city. Authentic Neapolitan cuisine. Homemade dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed it! 😋 Highly recommended!

03/11/2025: I came across this restaurant after looking around online, and I couldn't fault the food. Everything was very good, and the price was more than fair.

12/10/2025: We came for dinner twice. Once with 14 people and once with 30 people. Both times the service and food were excellent. I highly recommend it!

12/10/2025: The waitress was very nice, but other than that, I cannot say anything good about the place. The carbonara pasta were tasteless, pizza was oily and uncooked. The gnocchi were decent, but nothing special, i would have expected the sauce to be more fresh and spiced. I usually do not have very high standards for food, especially when I’m hungry, but this time I was very disappointed.

05/11/2025: I went for lunch with my parents and my 3-year-old daughter a couple of weeks ago: the reviews were very good, and I can confirm that. The prices are a bit higher than the Sorrento average, but it's definitely not a mediocre or touristy restaurant: from the service to the food, everything is top-notch and worth the expense. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the guests, and they offer a three-course set menu (appetizer, a choice of first or second course, and dessert) for €50. The average price is €20-40 per dish, and the quality is excellent. They also offer children's dishes. The historic setting is meticulously maintained, the terrace is beautiful, and the interior dining rooms are equally impressive. Definitely an excellent choice for dining in Sorrento.

04/11/2025: One of the best places we came across here in Sorrento. I had the first lemon sauce spaghetti, and I love it. The waitress was very lovely, gentle and educated. We sat in the middle of the afternoon and he gave his best.

30/09/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The pasta was excellent and the salsiccia full of flavor, cooked just right. They also served delicious, fresh bread on the side, which was a perfect complement to the meal. The atmosphere really captured the true spirit of Naples — warm, lively, and authentic. A great place to enjoy traditional Neapolitan food.

13/11/2025: We went to Da Nello twice during our stay in Sorrento, once for lunch and another time for dinner and we were very happy on both occasions. We found the place affordable and authentic with great food and nice service. In fact it was our overall favourite restaurant in Sorrento and we’d gladly come back again.

07/10/2025: A quick review from today. The food was delicious, the drinks (beer and wine) were impeccable, and the waiters were very friendly. Best regards, Valerie, a lovely lady! The only downside was the wait time, about an hour for two portions of pasta (Siciliana, pasta patate, and pravola). It's clear that the staff (Valeria and the other waiter) were very busy and didn't have time to keep track of the orders for the customers who filled the restaurant to capacity. Despite all this, we'd love to come back 😗

06/10/2025: I went to this restaurant on Friday evening with friends...we're from Rome. By chance, we stopped at Mistergusto di Lauro, a wonderful person who was incredibly helpful and also sells excellent products, and he recommended we eat at his sister's. And here we are...a fantastic welcome and spectacular food, all truly delicious and of excellent quality...the kids who had the cutlet devoured it...we ate really well and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

17/09/2025: Ristorante La Rondinella da Anna is perfect for a leisurely lunch with a beautiful view. The products are always fresh, and you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. The team are wonderful – so welcoming and kind – and it’s always a pleasure to come back. Make sure to try the seafood platter and the bruschetta – both are incredible and pair perfectly with the seaside setting.
