12/06/2025: First night in Portici and we were not disappointed - great food and wine. I was gutted to find I had given them a fake 20 euro note - Do not know where I picked that up!! The staff were lovely. The crab dish was fresh and delicious.

Il ristorante, lontano dal caos della piazzetta, offre una cucina gourmet raffinata, con piatti curati nei minimi dettagli sia nel gusto che nella presentazione. Ogni portata è una scoperta di sapori bilanciati e ingredienti di alta - anzi altissima - qualità, sapientemente combinati dallo chef. Il personale è impeccabile: cordiale, attento e sempre disponibile senza mai risultare invadente. L’atmosfera elegante e rilassata rende questo posto perfetto sia per una cena romantica che per un’occasione speciale. Consiglio vivamente di provare il menù degustazione, che noi ordiniamo sempre per le occasioni speciali: un viaggio sensoriale che vale ogni singolo assaggio. Il posto preferito anche del mio papà!

The delicious food, compliments to the kitchen and the chef! Everything perfect for a romantic evening.

21/06/2025: My girlfriend and I were looking for an excellent seafood restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and after a while we managed to stumble upon Il gabbiano I already knew this place for various reasons, since it was the place of my baptism and my parents' wedding, let's say that I wanted to return now as an adult and I must say that I left very satisfied Unique and special dishes, fresh and high quality fish, genuine ingredients, the more the merrier The prices are in line with the quality it offers and in fact for what I ordered I thought I would pay much more Furthermore, the restaurant also applied a final discount of €6 on the total, which is not something that everyone does HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

04/06/2025: I was there yesterday, we had a fixed fish menu, 35 euros per person, the menu includes an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert and coffee, everything very good and well cooked, the owner is helpful but gets too familiar, but if you like the sea air this is the right place.

30/05/2025: We had dinner at the Locanda dei Borgia. Family management. Intimate setting with porcelain cutlery and accessories. Spectacular company from the owner. The menu and wine list were well-curated. We took the fish menus, very fresh and cooked in a harmonious way, with a superfine taste. My child, who doesn't like fish, was given a menu reserved for him and managed in an organized manner. Fast service. At the end they offered us a liqueur and a trio of desserts, not to mention the clean, well-kept and colorful setting in Amalfi / Torre del Greco style, as tradition dictates. Thank you

14/06/2025: I have been a customer for quite some time now and the thing that strikes me most is seeing the enthusiasm, cordiality and education that the director Francesco and the very sweet Anna always have. All of this obviously accompanied by excellent food, a special location and a beautiful view. Obviously you are in my heart and I will return soon. Thank you!!!

13/06/2025: Amazing experience. Beautiful place, and very Nice people (Francesco did our orders and was very kind, so were the others). The food was really decent, and we even got a Limoncello on the house. Would recommend to everyone!

25/06/2025: Beautifully located restaurant with a view of Mount Vesuvius and a fantastic sunset. Our pasta and fish dishes were exceptionally good.

23/06/2025: You eat practically on the sea...courtesy and kindness are the masters, we tasted a centerpiece of excellent seafood appetizers and worthy of note their famous "tureen" of spaghetti with seafood EXCELLENT! Taste and professionalism. We will return 😉
