02/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic. We dined with friends, eight of us, at this lovely restaurant, where we were immediately greeted warmly and elegantly. The menu was truly interesting, and the dishes were all truly compelling—rich in contrast, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The wait staff was truly attentive and friendly. I personally find it a model of restaurant management, and if we ever return for a trip to Scanno and the Gole del Sagittario, we'll definitely visit again!

21/11/2025: “Corso Stretto” was a truly pleasant discovery: a small but meticulously crafted restaurant with just a few tables, so reservations are recommended. The menu is refined, innovative without compromising on tradition, and the dishes are always beautifully presented. We tried: artisanal rigatoni with ricotta, sausage, and truffle: excellent. The gnocchi with pumpkin, porcini mushrooms, and stracciatella were also very good. The suckling pig with truffles and chicory was equally impressive. To finish, the gianduia fondant—original and delicious—and a lemon tartlet, beautiful to look at and delicious. The prices are fair, especially considering the central location.

Mixed and varied menu: - excellent first courses (arrabbiata, TOP scoglio) and a wide selection of fresh and dried pasta; - delicious second courses and side dishes. - fabulous and lactose-free desserts. The waiters are truly osteria-style; you'll feel at home in a truly family atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Don't forget the arrosticini (skewers) and the delicious dark chocolate paired with aged spirits. Friendly and helpful service. Perfect.

The cuisine is truly excellent, with generous and flavorful dishes that showcase local products. The appetizers, in particular, are a must-try. A rich and carefully selected selection is worth a stop here alone. The atmosphere is warm, familiar, and welcoming, the restaurant is quaint, and the staff are friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're passing through Villetta Barrea, stopping for lunch at Borgo Antico is a must: you'll leave feeling full and satisfied, eager to return soon!
