25/02/2024: Locale accogliente, personale cortese e premuroso, ottimi piatti, non banali. In particolare, baccalà mantecato con chips di riso e tapioca, e maionese di lamponi da leccarsi i baffi. Millefoglie alla crema pasticciera e mirtilli semplicemente divina. Vasta ed ottima carta dei vini.

17/02/2024: Place located in the city center, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, welcoming atmosphere and rich, sophisticated menu with excellent quality food. Everything delicious, from appetizers to dessert. We can see the commitment in wanting to offer something of quality and at the same time refined. Highly recommended!!!

26/08/2024: If you’re near Sulmona and looking for authentic Italia home cuisine then visit Villa Letizia. Food is amazing and people are warm and inviting. Be prepared to eat well. Try the zafferano and porcini mushroom pasta and be sure to say hi to the owner and head chef Maria.

17/08/2024: Personale gentilissime e simpatiche. Porzioni abbondanti senza nulla togliere alla qualità. Contorni .....farei una cena solo di quelli. Fagioli e friarelli....spettacolo. fave e carciofi....mia.moglie ne ha chiesto una porzione a portare via per il giorno dopo per quanto erano buone. Pizza...buona e carica. Bistecca e tagliata....buonissime e con contorno di pomodori molto saporiti. Forse è prassi loro o perché c era tanta gente non è stata chiesta la cottura.....al.sangue....che era proprio come la volevo....quindi ancora più punti guadagnati. Chiudiamo con amaro al carciofo che fanno loro....chapeau. 5 stelle meritatissime. Grazie a trip altrimenti non avrei scoperto questo posto visto che eravamo di passaggio.

10/07/2024: The place is beautiful because you eat next to a spring. This is also very old from the 1500s. It is inside the historic center of Scanno. The village has a very nice historic center to see. This place to eat is really beautiful. Particularly for dinners with important people. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. The dishes are excellent. You will also have an explanation of what is brought to you. I highly recommend the typical one from Scanno as a dessert. What can I say, a top choice. As an eighth level guide for Google I can say that you are not wrong in choosing this restaurant.

25/06/2024: Eating outdoors here is pleasant, it feels good The lady's welcome was perfect, she seated us quickly even though we hadn't booked and the place was full. The quality of the food is excellent, as is the wine list. The desserts must absolutely be tried!!

28/07/2024: The food is truly excellent with local ingredients, the service is quick and efficient and you pay more than your fair share, a beautiful setting with a 1950s American diner theme and music that gives you even more immersion. Highly recommended.

18/08/2024: Wonderful experience, traditional dishes but often with some original touches! Everything is very tasty, from the cod to the Montepulciano braised meat. Reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of the portions

26/07/2024: abbiamo cenato in questo posto a pochi passi dal corso principale della città. abbiamo scelto un pó di taglieri misti e degli arrosticini da condividere. tutto buonissimo, conpresi gli arrosticini di angus. poi abbiamo preso alcuni primi e qualche secondo, con contorni vari. tutto buono e abbondante. rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono, approved!

29/07/2024: Thank you for proving that you can eat fresh at a very very reasonable price! We selected this restaurant based on reviews because too often considered tourists = wallet elsewhere; and we are not disappointed! Here in addition: the smile and the kind words that make you regret not speaking Italian! A friendly, unpretentious moment. And the toilets are impeccable :) Well done sir, it was a pleasure.

25/08/2024: Suggestive place located in the oldest part of Tagliacozzo, a true "village within a village" with a beautiful river and beautiful water points that branch out from the main block to other eating areas. Simple dishes, a streamlined menu, the strong point is the pasta, whether stuffed or not, and the meat is truly tender and well served. The only flaw that I have found in other places is the lack of preparation of the waiters (nothing that cannot be worked on) but this does not mean that it does not deserve the best. In my opinion the best place in Tagliacozzo (for now) let's see if they continue like this. Compliments.

22/08/2024: Pranzo di ferragosto..ottima location, servizio cosi così ( vino caldo e un'ora di attesa per una lattina di coca cola) secondo piatto immangiabile ( agnello fritto rinsecchito) prezzo un po' esagerato. ( 50 euro a persona). Forse troppe accettazioni per la potenzialità della cucina e del servizio..

27/08/2024: Fine, clean and spacious environment. Not the usual tavern in the center with piled-up tables, but well-distributed and well-studied spaces. Menu not very rich but all very tasty, also available for celiacs, but without AIC certification. The only flaw was only one waitress in the room during the days of Celestinian Pardon, it took up to 5 minutes to ask for a bottle of water. But still very professional staff

15/08/2024: THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! On August 15th they left us without a table, 7 people including some children, even though we had booked 8 days before. With the evidence in hand, they they tried to create a makeshift accommodation outside, but with the heat and soon with the sun on it it wouldn't have been the case. Plus, not even two hours later it rained. We had to go away and solve it another way. Conclusion: for me THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! ⚠️ Edit response to the restaurateur: we showed you the reservation calls... we left because after a round of phone calls I found someone who could host us in decent conditions given that you left us without lunch... VERY BAD, even in the answers apparently , it means that you neither admit nor learn from your mistakes!

14/08/2024: Overcooked pasta without salt, cheese and egg balls made with ricotta instead of pecorino and with a very acidic sauce, we found a dead fly in the wine (and we didn't see it drown so it didn't fall into the glass at the time). Quite unpleasant staff, who we found laughing at other customers. Unfortunately it is a very touristy place and the quality is not there. The place itself is nice.

21/07/2024: We sat down at 1.45pm with a reservation and they came to collect the order 45 minutes later. We had to get the water ourselves from the counter. All this with two very small children present at the table: rude and absent staff, all from first to last. They were called back many times both by us and by all the other tables, all waiting. BAD service: very long times!! Even before taking the orders of those who arrive they do something else including looking at their cell phones. All the tables complained. The service is not the only problem: the food is also terrible: very spicy ragù and some of the worst kebabs I have ever eaten. We found everything much worse than last time. I specify that there wasn't a full house as it was already late. PLACE TO AVOID

29/07/2024: Family atmosphere, genuine food and low prices. We ate a house appetizer which featured a truly excellent ham. Then 2 slices of parmesan rocket and quality cherry tomatoes, rare for me and medium rare for my wife. Potatoes and salad as side dishes, wine donuts to finish. We drank a house Montepulciano without infamy and without praise. The girls who served us were very kind, delicious but still inexperienced, but appreciable. Highly recommended for eating well while spending the right amount in a family environment.
