09/12/2025: I've been wanting to try it for a long time. My expectations were fully met. Try the saffron risotto with pork cheek to believe it. The calamari was incredibly fresh and fragrant, and the breading on the fried anchovies was excellent. The girl who served us was friendly and professional. The service was prompt. The price was much lower than I expected, and the portions were generous. Bottom line: nothing fancy.
We'll be back soon.
10/10/2025: Interesting dishes, good value for money, the ingredients for the first courses were a bit disjointed. Overall, good.

05/10/2025: I was in Bominaco to visit the two churches. I then took a lunch break and just managed to get the last seat at the restaurant.
It was a lovely, authentic experience, with excellent regional dishes, all freshly prepared and handmade.
You can also buy regional products at the restaurant. After consulting with the owner, I purchased a bottle of organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. A poem!
The service was also excellent, friendly, and fast. I highly recommend the restaurant.

30/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant on December 29th. The atmosphere was welcoming, the waitresses were very polite and helpful, and the fillet steak was excellent. I highly recommend it.

20/01/2026: The place is far from the city centers. There's a parking lot outside, right next to a soccer field. I don't know if the place regularly uses that area, but there's a pool table and a few other similar games inside, which I really appreciate. It's very nice inside. I sat all evening next to a delightful world map. I know it may seem like a minor detail, but to my brain, it's not. The staff is very kind and helpful. The pizza was more than adequate, and they also have many less traditional but delicious flavors. The price was also fair.
The only drawbacks are that the table next to us was very noisy (I can't blame the place) and the bathrooms were a bit pitiful.

12/01/2026: An enchanting view of snow-capped peaks, exquisite cuisine featuring fresh, authentic ingredients, and a beautiful fireplace, not only lit but also functional for cooking meats. Excellent service, I appreciated the chef's friendliness and kindness, who made sure to chat with us, guests and customers.
A panoramic window would be perfect for the dining room.
08/12/2025: Genuine and good food but the slow and inattentive service leads to cold dishes, bathrooms are not well maintained and not very clean, we definitely won't be back, it's a shame about the chef, he would have deserved a better collaboration

23/10/2025: We relied on Cartiera del Vetojo and Luca's professionalism for our wedding. Several weeks later, we're still receiving compliments on the ceremony, but especially on the impeccable organization, excellent food, and professionalism of the staff. The location is dreamy, with ample parking accessible to all.
Thanks again to Luca and his staff for making our wedding unforgettable.

The interior room where we had lunch was well-maintained, clean, and accessible.
The area where we had the dessert buffet was also beautiful. I recommend a light jacket because the temperature drops after sunset, given the presence of a stream (civil wedding at the end of September).

05/01/2026: Very kind staff, authentic dishes and just the right amount of them. The polenta, ribs and sausage were so good you could mop up the sauce. The house red wine was excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the tiramisu by the glass. Next time I'll order the torta della nonna, which other diners said was delicious. The prices are fair. We'll definitely be back! Well done!
22/12/2025: An excellent restaurant for traditional Abruzzo dishes, but especially grilled meats. A large display showcases a wide selection of international varieties, and a beautiful fireplace in the center of the room where they grill.

05/12/2025: SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD... Exceptional products, starting with the appetizers, which were not only delicious but also incredibly generous. Bruschetta, focaccia, chickpeas with saffron and chestnuts, beans with vegetables (friarelli are a far cry from spinach), a platter of cold cuts and cheeses that will leave you feeling full, but DON'T STOP, you absolutely have to try the first courses or the pizzas. Everything is exceptional, including the location: warm, comfortable, and with the fireplace lit in the winter, it creates a TOP atmosphere. Thank you.
