13/04/2026: We booked last-minute after a long day, and our experience was a pleasant surprise. It's a beautiful, intimate restaurant inside a lovely hotel. The staff is welcoming and lets you enjoy the food in peace. The dinner was delicious, and we ended up ordering three courses, when one would have easily sufficed.

07/03/2026: I'm a tourist from Taiwan 🇹🇼, visiting in February 2026. This is an Italian pasta restaurant that doesn't charge a seating fee; it feels a bit like a family-run place. ⏰We arrived around 7 PM on Tuesday and waited in line for half an hour. They close at 8 PM, so the owner came out early to say that about half the line wouldn't get a table and asked everyone to leave. Luckily, we were able to get a seat after waiting for half an hour. 💰One truffle carbonara, one amatriciana, and a bottle of water, totaling NT$1476 🍝The most popular dish at this restaurant is the truffle carbonara, €24 per serving. It was truly impressive when it arrived; the truffle was practically added on top of everything, so you could taste the truffle itself in every bite. The sliced ​​truffle had a refreshing flavor, unlike the heavy flavor of truffle sauce. The sliced ​​pieces added another layer of texture without overpowering the pork cheek, cheese, and egg and milk flavors. For the carbonara, I thought the best part was the air-dried pork cheek. It was definitely stir-fried first, bringing out the aroma of the fat. The salty and savory pork flavor combined with the aroma of the stir-fried fat was very appetizing and truly excellent. My impression of this dish was all in the ingredients. I wasn't particularly impressed with the sauce and pasta. 🍝Amatriciana It seems to be a classic flavor; basically, it's tomato-based with dried pork cheek and cheese. The pasta itself is served on a straw, which is actually quite cool—it's hollow, and you can suck up the sauce while sipping it, which is pretty cool (?). The tomato flavor is super strong, and the sour and savory taste is amazing! On this trip, I discovered that everything with an Italian tomato base is quite delicious.

10/04/2026: I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did enjoy the restaurant service. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent. We started with an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, followed by their entree consisting of tongue in salsa verde, the classic Piedmontese veal with tuna sauce, and a Russian sauce all'ancienne, so called because it contained mustard seeds, like the French sauce of the same name: everything was truly excellent. To continue, we had the venison with polenta—soft, fragrant, and juicy—with a truly thick polenta, and a Tapulone (minced horse meat flavored with cabbage), also served with polenta. The large portions didn't allow us to try the desserts, which were otherwise very inviting. A genepy, a gentian, and a coffee rounded out a truly satisfying lunch, also thanks to the excellent table service, very proactive and never intrusive. While out for a stroll in the Ossola Valley for two, we spent €110 on a bottle of Barbera di Sizzano, truly refreshing and with just the right acidity to complement the hearty dishes we chose.

It's rare to find a place where the warmth of the staff matches the quality of the food, but here they more than achieve it. The best parts of the experience: The food: Simply excellent. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care put into every dish. The service: The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, taking care of every detail without being intrusive. The personal touch: Even the owner came over and sat down to chat with us at the table! That kind of gesture makes all the difference and makes you feel like an honored guest rather than just a customer. Value for money: The prices are very reasonable for the level of quality they offer. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for such a special evening!

15/04/2026: At the Lauro restaurant in Vittorio Veneto, I found the quality to be generally good. The meat was well-cooked and flavorful, as was the octopus, which was tender and flavorful. The spaghetti was slightly al dente, but still enjoyable. The wine selection was good. The attentive and courteous service contributed to an overall positive experience.

After lunch, we spent the afternoon in the restaurant garden with the children soaking up the sun while enjoying a splendid view.

The staff is friendly and attentive. The spacious restaurant is stylishly furnished and well-organized. It's a regular stop every time I pass by.

21/03/2026: We tried this restaurant for a family lunch; the service was friendly and welcoming. The fish was definitely good quality, and the presentation was meticulous (with a slightly old-fashioned flair). For my taste, I would have avoided the touch of cream, albeit light, in the seafood carbonara, but I understand it's a classic and they've always made it this way. We didn't particularly enjoy the dessert; the meringue was too hard.
