05/08/2025: Excellent bar, delicious homemade vegan options (both sweet and savory), and very friendly staff, always available to explain how the food is prepared. We return every time we're in the area. Highly recommended for anyone who just wants to try excellent vegan food.

31/07/2025: I ordered my vegan graduation buffet from them and it was a real hit! The ragù arancini and pistachio brioches in particular were a huge hit 💖 totally approved!

26/08/2025: Nel centro storico di Pietra Ligure c'è un'ottima trattoria: la Trattoria dei Caruggi. Si tratta di un piccolo ristorantino dove si possono gustare deliziosi piatti a base di pesce. Io ci torno sempre molto volentieri, per mangiare un bel piatto di spaghetti alle vongole, o di tagliolini mare e monti al cartoccio. Perfetti anche gli antipasti, sfiziosi, o un'abbondante porzione di fritto misto.Personale cordiale e servizio impeccabile.

14/07/2025: Beautiful place, and truly wonderful to be able to eat in the alleyways. Excellent menu with reasonable prices. The seafood appetizer was truly delicious. Of course, the trofie with pesto, green beans, and potatoes were a must. The grilled fish was also delicious! Super attentive and polite staff and service. If we return to Pietra, we'll definitely stop by. Thank you.

29/08/2025: Ate some delicious pistachio ice cream. At €2.80 per scoop, it wasn't exactly cheap, but it was worth it. The scoop was large, and the ice cream also had a delicious pistachio cream mixed in. 😋

10/07/2025: Dinner with my wife, July 8th. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the service excellent; the hostess was very kind. The food was more than satisfying. The starters were delicious!!! We'll definitely be back.

05/08/2025: Uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui abbia mai mangiato a mani bassi. Fortunatamente ero ospite, ma i prezzi per i menù degustazione sono assolutamente alla portata di (quasi) tutti! Al di la del cibo che era sensazionale, la cosa che più ci ha colpito è stata la professionalità dei giovani in sala. Un servizio stellato, ma con una leggerezza che fa sentire a proprio agio nonostante il livello della ristorazione. Veramente complimenti! (Carta vini molto interessante!)

27/07/2025: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di tornare alla Trattoria Contemporanea di Lomazzo per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio, e devo dire che è stata una piacevole conferma di quanto già avevamo apprezzato in passato. L’atmosfera è accogliente e raffinata, perfetta per un’occasione speciale come questa. Il personale è sempre gentile e attento, rendendo il momento ancora più speciale. La cucina, come sempre, è deliziosa: piatti curati, sapori autentici e presentazioni eleganti. È stato davvero un modo splendido per celebrare il nostro anniversario, e sicuramente torneremo ancora per rivivere questa esperienza così piacevole. Consiglio vivamente questa trattoria a chi cerca un luogo intimo e di qualità a Lomazzo!

08/09/2025: Very satisfied. The cold cuts and cured meats were more than excellent. We also had some very high-quality first courses. The wine was excellent. The atmosphere was unique and suited to the setting. The price was reasonable. The waitress who served us (a brunette with short hair) was attentive and kind. We all enjoyed it.

11/09/2025: I was given this dinner as a gift for my birthday. A pleasant surprise. Excellent service from the wait staff, and the chef was very helpful and approachable. All the dishes exceeded expectations, both in taste and presentation. The tasting menu was excellent, with good quality for the price. I will definitely be back.

07/09/2025: Our experience at Sine was truly memorable and we loved it. The menu was delicious, and the chef's presence in describing the dishes and his attentive service made the atmosphere feel almost like home—welcoming and run with love. We highly recommend going to Sine at least once in your life and trying any of their menus, given the dedication and love you can feel in every dish!

03/09/2025: This was a really mixed experience. Lows: - My pregnant wife being served raw then undercooked langoustine successively. (It was a dish served undercooked but the waiter recommended it as an option reassuring us that they could modify the recipe to cook the langoustine through. My impression was that the chefs did not agree and stubbonly refused to cook the shellfish to a temperature suitable for a pregnant woman!) - Very strong flavour contrasts which mostly didn't work. (Mackerel with onion chutney, scorpion fish with a highly pungent bisque sauce, squid with an intense sabzi-esque dried spinach sauce, grouper with a fancy version of hoi sin sauce.) Really intense flavours which totally overwhelmed the fish. I wonder if perhaps the chef doesnt actually like fish? Certainly they are not interested in maximising the flavour of the fish served, but masking it with intense sauces. Or maybe the chef is a heavy smoker? And has lost the subtler parts of their palette. Regardless - most of the dishes, while interesting, were not actually nice or enjoyable to eat. - The price. The price undoubtedly reflects the considerable effort put into this food. But it feels more like a work in progress menu. Paying such a high price (€100 pp) stings when you don't really enjoy the majority of what you are eating. - Tiny amount of fish on each dish. (Except for the cerviche appetiser which was very generous). Highs: - The waiter was lovely and attentive. - The decor is beautiful and really imaginatively done - The wine is excellent and the waiter recommended great wines to go with the fish. - The first amuse bouche and the last (a selection of tiny pattiserie to be eaten in a specific order) were really outstanding and delicious. - The gurnard cerviche with grapefruit juice was the one time when the intense flavour contrasts worked brilliantly. It was  impressive and delicious. Overall, if you have money to burn and you want a bit of an adventure, then maybe this will be fun. But if you want to to guarentee enjoying everything - go somewhere more affordable which cooks things more simply and traditionally in a way which emphasises the flavour profile of the fish and almost certainly gives you more than a mouthful of fish per course!

25/08/2025: Centrally located, behind Piazza del Popolo, this restaurant has an elegant and refined atmosphere and attentive and friendly service (the waiter was truly skilled at his job). We tried the very good tasting menu; the dishes were beautifully presented, and despite the portions appearing small, we struggled to finish them all. The only downside to this is that we weren't given a full five stars because, upon payment, we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip, which made us feel uncomfortable... A real lapse in style.

25/08/2025: I happened upon this restaurant—very cute inside—on a Saturday for lunch. Saturday and Sunday lunch is buffet style, an option I'm not particularly fond of. The food was good (except for the rice-stuffed tomato, which was dry and tough) but wasn't kept warm enough. There was a good variety of dishes. The wait staff didn't intervene too much, since it was a buffet, but from what I could see, a little more enthusiasm wouldn't hurt. If I'd been able to order from the menu, perhaps I would have had a different opinion, but my experience was average. However, I truly wish this restaurant success for its "courageous" choice to offer only vegetarian and vegan dishes!

03/08/2025: Me and my girlfriend arrived late evening on a Sunday and found this pearl! They stayed open when we arrived, the last dinner guest had already left. Best food so far on our trip in Italy. The balsamico meat was amazing and so tender! Also amazing service!!! Our waiter was so kind and made the whole experience a 10/10.
