The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. The ingredients are carefully selected and of the highest quality. You can tell they take care and attention to offering the freshest products, respecting the traditions of Italian cuisine, rather than preparing dishes for foreign customers who might not appreciate certain details. You can tell they cook here with skill, passion, and a profound respect for the ingredients. The service is always impeccable. The staff interacts with customers in an extremely discreet manner. Never intrusive, always present at the right time. Finally, the price is more than reasonable for a restaurant in the center. The location is very elegant and refined, in a historic building in the center of Florence. One of the best choices when in Florence!!!!!!!

28/02/2026: I have been to Ristorante Stella a number of times over the last 4 years. The food is always excellent, the service is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. Last night I had the carcoifi fritti, ossobucco, panna cotta and a wonderful Raina white wine. I could not have asked for a better dinner. For the first time I also stayed in one of their rooms, which was above the restaurant. The bed was possibly one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a fun/interesting design. I highly recommend both their rooms and the restaurant!

We tried the radicchio crespelle and the zucchini carbonara, both delicious; the eggplant rolls were also delicious and flavorful. The place is small but spacious, and the staff was courteous and helpful. The only downside is that they don't have high chairs for children (we were told this when we booked), so with small children, you'll have to make do with a regular chair. Recommended.
