08/11/2025: Once you try it, you'll never leave! I visited this wonderful restaurant for the first time in January, then repeated the experience on Easter Monday and August 15th, and a week after my last visit I decided to leave a review. The reason is easy to explain: by doing so, I was also able to confirm that the quality of service has always been very high, not diminishing at all over time. Osteria di Ianus is the perfect combination of tradition and innovation, of refined, high-quality ingredients with quantity. The restaurant is not overly large and very welcoming, decorated in such a way as to convey the atmosphere of an old-fashioned tavern and the typical alley of a small village. The staff, chefs, and waiters are extremely kind and professional. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the service offered, especially considering the authenticity of the products used. For this year's Ferragosto experience (August 15, 2023), I'd almost let the photos speak for themselves; the thing that struck me most (without taking anything away from the rest, it's all about personal taste) were the ravioli with mortadella, burrata, and pistachio sauce... exceptional! The watermelon and lemon compote the waiter recommended was also a wonderful discovery; it was a combination of flavors I wasn't familiar with, but one that I've been happy to try at home ever since. In conclusion, would I recommend this place? Absolutely!

25/10/2025: A small restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Located in the center of town, where you can breathe in the mountain air. Excellent traditional dishes, such as Antrodoco ragù and cod with local chestnuts. The house red wine is excellent, and the appetizers are excellent. Some of the other entrees we ordered were a bit too rich, but they were very kind in addressing this small inconvenience.

16/11/2025: Yet another dinner at Francesco and Michela's: this time, too, it was absolutely worth the drive from Varese. It's an hour and a half's drive, but every time my friends and I manage to plan it, we can't wait to return. The food is excellent: top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by someone who truly knows what they're doing. The service is impeccable; Francesco is a genuine, knowledgeable, and highly knowledgeable host. The portions? Generous, trust me: I'm saying this as someone who weighs 107 kg! In short, a place you always return to with pleasure and leave 100% satisfied.

16/11/2025: On a pleasant family outing, we found this trattoria. We hadn't booked, but we were lucky because there was a table left. Courteous and friendly welcome. A lovely, extensive menu, generous portions, and traditional cuisine with captivating aromas. All washed down with a good wine. Clean and prompt service. Good value for money. Highly recommended!

15/10/2025: Great and friendly staff, exquisite food, nice priceces. Always a must (their pizzas napoletanas are delicious) when you're in Sora.

29/11/2025: Beautiful place, very kind, friendly, and always available staff. We had 2 pizzas and 2 plates of spaghetti with clams, they were delicious. The gentleman who served us was super kind, and at the end of the dinner he offered us some fantastic cookies 🍪. We will gladly return here.

01/11/2025: What can I say... everything was excellent. The food was spectacular, the family who runs the restaurant was friendly... the quality/price ratio was excellent for the high quality... everything was top-notch. I'd love to return.

03/10/2025: It looks like an old-fashioned osteria, with a charcuterie counter at the entrance. Lots of wooden crates and bottles decorate the place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had an appetizer of charcuterie, cheese, and bruschetta to share (for two), and two main courses of meat, cheese, jams, and vegetables. Delicious!! Beautifully presented, and the ingredients were of excellent quality. All were paired with a Merlot-Cabernet red wine. Family-run. We felt right at home. I'll definitely be back 😊 and I recommend it to everyone.

22/11/2025: A restaurant that could have been the best in the area if it had good food, but unfortunately the food was bad, the carbonara was too salty because of the cheese, so we couldn't eat it. I gave it 2 stars because of the service and the space.

09/12/2025: I returned years after my first visit and found it much better. It's located in Cervia's charming, pedestrianized old town. In winter, as in this case, there's a lovely fireplace. I tried the squid ink linguine and monkfish skewer, both delicious. Prices are average for the area for seafood. Recommended.

08/12/2025: The Osteria Il Cantinone is very much worth it and I recommend it because we had a great time with the food (excellent), the staff, excellent organisation, the very welcoming place and fair prices, we will be back soon

16/10/2025: It was recommended to me, and perhaps my expectations were way, way too high. However, the cacio e pepe pasta wasn't bad. The fried artichoke was also good.

02/09/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming, refined, and elegant. There are three small rooms, with a total of 4-5 tables. The food is excellent. Chef Carlo kindly personally ensures that everything is to our liking. A guest with celiac disease is attentively looked after. Impeccable service. Fair quality/price ratio.

12/10/2025: You have to leave behind the beautiful coastline of the Riviera di Ulisse and head into the less than thrilling hinterland of the province of Latina to reach Ristorante Antica Carrera, on the edge of the industrial area of ​​Fondi. But it's a choice you won't regret. The rich and varied menu features several dishes inspired by local culinary traditions, all excellent. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always present but not intrusive. An experience worth repeating. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try too many dishes on the menu.

12/10/2025: We had lunch at this wonderful restaurant with our family and were extremely satisfied. The atmosphere is simply fantastic: welcoming, relaxing, and perfect for a lunch with friends. The dishes we tasted were excellent; you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. A special thanks goes to the staff, always attentive, smiling, and extremely thoughtful. We felt pampered from start to finish. An experience worth repeating and one we highly recommend to everyone, especially those looking for a place to eat excellently in a beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere. A well-deserved 5 stars!

31/08/2025: A pleasant discovery in the historic center of Villapiana and this trattoria. The food (made with top-quality ingredients), the location, and the service are excellent. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

18/10/2025: I'm sorry to give this restaurant such a low rating, as it's cozy and the food is good, but the service is slow, very slow. To give you an idea, it took us two hours to eat and 15 minutes just to get our coffee. There were only two of us.

15/08/2025: We've been to this agriturismo several times...what can I say? Everything is super good, the food is plentiful, and the waiters, Alessandro, Giulia, Simona, are super kind. I recommend everyone to come and have lunch at Cubeddu. You'd definitely be satisfied. The quality and price are excellent.

28/08/2025: Typical local cuisine, I'd say everything was delicious! We started with a cured meats appetizer (their salami is out of this world), and then for our first course, I chose the herb tortelli. The pasta is homemade and you can taste it; they were simply exquisite, not to mention the cappelletti! For our second course, I chose the oven-baked ribs with roasted potatoes! 🤩💯 My boyfriend had the guinea fowl, and it was really well cooked! We chose a still Lambrusco for wine! We paid around €35 ​​each, but everything was truly excellent! The interior is beautifully decorated; there were lots of fairy lights that created a lovely atmosphere. :) The girls who served us were very friendly and made us feel right at home. ♥️ I recommend booking.

21/09/2025: We had the degustation menu, which is what the chef chooses/ cooks for the day. Small dishes are served but you don't need to read the menu and choose from, and you don't share with the other guests. Each person gets their share in a small dish. So, this is the concept. The food was simply excellent! Great combinations, original, creative and satisfactory. Each dish was very tasty. I would definitely visit this town to be able to eat in this restaurant again. We had a cold white wine to accompany the dishes and this was excellent idea. Deserts are not included in the degustation menu, so you will need to choose from the menu. Again, very tasty and beautifully plated. Big applause for the chef and the team!
