02/04/2025: Excellent fish restaurant, even though it was mid-August and we hadn't booked, they let us sit in the internal room which was cool anyway. We opted for a menu, the staff was very kind and the dish was explained for each course. Perhaps a bit of a wait between one dish and another but since it was also mid-August... but it was worth it, everything was very good. I recommend it

31/03/2025: The reviews are contradictory, but I think the food is definitely 5*, the service is excellent! There are questions about the style of the restaurant, which is 20 years old... but this does not spoil the impression!!! I definitely recommend visiting!!!

09/03/2025: Place of the heart. Family-run mountain hut, it feels like going to grandma's for lunch ❤️ homemade dumplings, gnocchi and strudel daily. High quality food prepared with love, which is rare these days. Not to mention the absolutely cheap prices for the quality offered. Friendly staff and welcoming place. Highly recommended! We returned several times to try different dishes, each better than the other. Note of merit to the canederli, gnocchi with venison sauce, the shank (by reservation only) and it ends on a sweet note with their still warm freshly baked strudel.

06/04/2025: Very "family" place with very typical cuisine of the area. The products are fresh and seasonal grown by them. They offer a variety of very satisfying and tasty appetizers, the seafood dishes are exquisite and carefully prepared. Another peculiarity is the pizza, many varieties and very good. For those who don't really like seafood dishes, there is the grill which is definitely worth trying. It has a beautiful garden for summer days where dining is a real pleasure.

22/03/2025: We went to eat at the fiaschetteria last night, the place is very characteristic, oriented towards the style of an old Livorno tavern. In addition to the restaurant which, as mentioned, is very suggestive, the thing that you immediately notice when looking at the menu is the search for dishes from the past, presented with a certain modernity. For example, on the menu I found a dish that my grandmother used to make for me and that I had completely removed, namely the stuffed neck. In fact, I really liked this feature of not necessarily serving the usual Livorno dishes that are more fashionable, such as cacciucco, and of preferring those dishes that were part of the culture of the past and which have now disappeared a bit. However, ultimately the raw materials are of the highest level and processed in an excellent way, I highly recommend anyone who is in Livorno on holiday or the people of Livorno themselves to go and eat at pilade and enjoy the culinary experience it offers...
