01/09/2024: Fixed place for an artisanal piadina. Let me start by saying that I am Italian and have always eaten piadina, but I have never eaten such a good and tasty piadina. Super friendly and courteous staff!

22/03/2025: Pssst, you Swedes traveling east from Milan. A little jewel in a traditional Italian village setting with a really warm character and cozy environment. The head chef speaks good English, is very sympathetic and takes an interest in the guests' gastronomic experience. Exciting menu with an enticing wine list! The head chef told us that they will shortly be opening a newly renovated b&b apartment. Take the time to discover El Bagolo! (Sunday evening and Monday are rest days.)

11/01/2025: Abbiamo partecipato al cenone di San Silvestro in questo bel ristorante che peraltro già conoscevamo. È stato tutto perfetto dal menù, ottimo come sempre, all’atmosfera empatica creata sia dalla proprietà che dallo staff. Bel sottofondo musicale, location unica e accogliente, resto della clientela selezionata e non rumorosa. Abbiamo gradito tutte le portate del menù e abbiamo trascorso una splendida serata in relax attendendo l’arrivo del nuovo anno e brindando assieme agli altri commensali e al personale di servizio all’esterno in una fantastica location dominante il golfo di Rapallo e incorniciata dai fuochi d’artificio che la hanno illuminata a giorno rendendola ancora più suggestiva. Serata indimenticabile… a presto.

16/03/2025: Even though we arrived half an hour late on Saturday evening (notifying us), they treated us and our dog very well. They didn't make it bother us in the slightest. Very much appreciated the service. 2 of us got 3 pizzas. One biker, one tasty and one raw. Too good! Importantly, the toilets are very clean even though the place was full.

01/03/2025: It took us a while to figure out where to eat “like a local”. Stopped in a couple of places that seemed sketchy and then stumbled upon this gem of a place. Totally packed (reservations a must) but Marina took pity of us and gave us a table. Delicious calamari fritti and seafood salad. Even the French fries were yummy! Classic carbonara pasta and veal cutlet (husband’s). Pizzas are thin crust; airy and crunchy like a cracker; not Neapolitan (which is more doughy and not our favorite). Good base sauce and excellent cottura. We had to come next day. Too delicious! Did I mention that you should make a reservation? We noticed they sent people away with no reservation (lucky us). Absolutely recommended. Grazie, Marina & Co.

16/03/2025: I was work in luxury Hospitality.. And here in this small village i eat the best food i ever eat in my life.. I meet many famous cooks who was payed by milions euro..shame..they not deserve that money!! After this lunch im shure that here at Il Ritrivo restourant i eat the best food ever!! Even better then my mom cook..even better then every "famous" cook made. Im so exsited to say this. Bravo again!!! Bravo!!

29/03/2025: Cibo discreto. La carne non è eccellente, paragonabile a quella di un qualsiasi fast food, e la cottura è stata totalmente errata: richiesta media quasi al sangue e l’hamburger era stracotto. Personale cortese, locale pulito. Tuttavia, un dubbio mi ha accompagnato per tutta la serata: forse sarebbe stato più conveniente ordinare da asporto anziché cenare sul posto. Dalla cucina uscivano quasi esclusivamente ordini per l’asporto, mentre noi clienti in sala eravamo costretti ad aspettare a lungo. Nessuno mangiava piatti principali, solo antipasti. Inoltre, dalla cucina hanno sbagliato più volte la preparazione dei piatti. Di conseguenza, la linea e l’organizzazione della cucina sono completamente da rivedere.

28/03/2025: Uno dei miglior panini che abbia mai mangiato. Personale qualificato e gentile. Locale molto alla moda, pulito, ordinato. Ci siamo sempre seduti subito. Manca purtroppo un parcheggio adeguato, ma il locale è su una strada principale, quindi è normale (consiglio la strada di fronte).

26/03/2025: Favilla is a pizzeria where inside they serve very good and well-studied pizza! The fried foods are top! Especially the chef's supply with lemon zest inside (I hope I'm not getting the terms wrong) I highly recommend it to anyone, the environment is very welcoming and the owner is really kind and attentive to the customer's needs! Go there and you won't regret it!

26/03/2025: We went this evening with some friends, we let the chef delight us with some appetizers, accompanied by two beautiful hot focaccias freshly baked and some abruschiato bread, with olive oil, I brought the wine flavored salt, and we used it on the focaccias and the bread... followed by grilled slices with finely chopped fresh artichokes on top, a real delight, especially quality meat... All good washed down with a decent red wine from the castles,,, and Bruno's friendliness😁.. I've known Bruno for a long time and it's always a pleasure... See you next time 😁😁

30/03/2025: Cute Italian restaurant with a great lunch menu and service. It was a pleasant surprise. THE Seafood pasta and Pinot grigio. Great ambiance: decors, music, and how quiet it is. Perfect escape from bustling Rome. ❤️

28/03/2025: Shabby. None of the waiters communicate effectively, due to their limited knowledge of the Italian language. Evidently the positive reviews are from past management. Cold and sad atmosphere. Ravioli served raw. I had to insist on having the receipt.
