14/10/2025: Excellent venue for elopement weddings !

13/10/2025: This was a once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experience. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a Suite as it was our honeymoon. The concierge team warmly welcomed us, and when we opened our room door, they had our wedding song playing, accompanied by champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, sweets, a framed picture of us, and hand-written notes. It was the most thoughtful gesture. The staff goes ABOVE and BEYOND every moment the stay and it is truly extraordinary. Every minute we spent at the hotel was heaven. The suite, view, amenities, pools, spa, gardens, etc were absolutely stunning, luxe, and we couldn't get enough. Everything was personalized and we felt extremely well cared for. We had an OUTSTANDING dinner (tip: get the risotto and beef wellington!) and the most incredible breakfast buffet we had ever seen. Our server, Diogo, blew us away with his elegance, knowledge and care - he made our dining experiences magical. We are so grateful to our travel advisor, Mo and the hotel team - we are counting the days down until we can come back to the GHT!!! N&S

07/08/2025: After two weeks in Taormina, we discovered this hidden gem on our last day and what a wonderful surprise! The warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the kind family who runs the place made us feel right at home. The food was exactly what we needed: comforting and full of flavor. The vegetable soup was absolutely delicious, the lamb cotoletta was tender and perfectly cooked, and the tagliatelle and swordfish rolls were just fantastic. On top of all that, the prices were the best we found in Taormina — great quality without the tourist mark-up. I only wish we had found this place sooner! Highly recommended.

11/11/2025: A truly beautiful setting, small but very unique, right down to the smallest details. The menu's storytelling entices you. The black spaghetti didn't taste like cuttlefish; it was unsalted cotyi, and the sauce tasted like a bland puree of legumes. The carob flour pasta had a sauce that certainly didn't overpower it. The ricotta-filled saccottini were excellent; these, indeed, had an excellent sauce, flavorful and a perfect complement to the pasta. 4 first courses, water and wine (?), 4 coffees, €80, you name it.

29/10/2025: A truly excellent place; we've been customers for years, and every time is a unique experience. Excellent food, an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, and the two owners are incredibly sweet and always smiling. The dishes cater to all tastes, including many vegan options. The father and another sister are in the kitchen, and everything is family-run, using excellent local products. The quality-price ratio is always excellent. An absolute must-see for a culinary experience in the Val di Noto! 10 out of 10

25/10/2025: I've been coming here every week for decades, and I've seen it all. I can confidently say it's the number one in Forlì and the surrounding area for the quality of its food, fish, oysters, and its endless selection of wines. Yet I'm unlucky enough to occasionally find a starving person sitting next to my table, as was the case this evening, when a couple from the sea wanted to snag a free meal and a free bottle of wine. A truly intimate place, surrounded by thousands of quality wines. As always, I got my 10 oysters and my plate of raw shellfish. You'll definitely find high-class people here, from the Cesenatico restaurateur to the Chinese entrepreneur, to the doctor and the magistrate. Discretion and food quality are definitely their strong points. The shellfish grill is top-notch!

04/10/2025: Nothing special. The dishes arrived rather cold. The dessert was frozen. The prices were unjustified considering the small portions.

04/10/2025: Quality food, well-prepared, especially the entrees we tried (risotto and tagliolini with clams). Friendly and attentive service. We took advantage of The Fork's 50% discount.

12/12/2025: I stayed at this hotel and it exceeded all my expectations. Beautiful location, welcoming and elegant while retaining its traditional features, yet modern. Beautiful rooms, spacious and welcoming, with attention to every detail. A full breakfast catered to every need, with authentic products. Friendly and attentive staff. The spa is available with a fantastic heated outdoor pool. I highly recommend it.

26/10/2025: Back to this little restaurant, and once again, an experience to treasure! This time on a Saturday night, the restaurant was almost fully booked, yet the service was impeccable, the atmosphere intimate and refined, and the food sublime. We were delighted to discover new culinary offerings and appreciate the new accolades received by this young team of professionals led by Chef Alessio. It's truly a pleasure to be pampered by this small but highly original restaurant on the outskirts of Rome. Congratulations, indeed!

10/10/2025: I was in Valmontone for work, I had lunch at Specus and immediately felt at home. Alessio and Flavia welcomed me as if we'd always known each other. The atmosphere was clean and quiet, and the cuisine was authentic and delicious. It will be a destination for three lunches and dinners. My compliments to Alessio and Flavia. Thank you for the wonderful lunch.

02/11/2025: Definitely the best fish restaurant we've ever been to. A single set menu: five courses of fish served one after the other, accompanied by a nice salad, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, a cannolo, a piece of fruit, and a digestif. Extraordinary!

27/10/2025: We loved it, no menu, no set menu, we eat what was caught that day, there's nothing to order. Everything is generous. The staff is very good. Reservations required.

09/12/2025: I wholeheartedly agree with this café, which serves excellent coffee and delicious sandwiches, perfect in size for a mid-morning breakfast. I discovered it also extends into a comfortable mezzanine, which increases the bar's size. The service is always professional, friendly, and fast. It's my favorite café.
