10/11/2025: The location is embellished by the Roman excavations outside. The industrial atmosphere is reminiscent of the adjacent brewery. From the dining room, you can see the beer silos. People come here primarily for the beer. The accompanying dishes are the perfect accompaniment... here, beer is the princess!

05/12/2025: At a famous local restaurant, we enjoyed the Venetian specialty, squid ink pasta. Located on the Adriatic Sea, Venice is renowned for its fresh seafood, but squid ink pasta is also a Venetian specialty. The fragrant sauce clung to the pasta and was delicious. The appetizer (we had the seafood tempura with olive oil, a taste unique to Italy) and the peach gelato for dessert were also delicious.

Unfortunately, however, the taste isn't truly noticeable: the flavors are so delicate that the nougat, hazelnut, gianduja, and coffee ended up tasting almost identical!!! The line is always long, and they only let in two or three people at a time. A combination of details that makes the experience disappointing, especially considering expectations.

02/11/2025: Lorenzo and his staff welcome you with the smile and friendliness typical of Abruzzo. From the moment you make your reservation over the phone, you feel like a welcome guest, an old friend. Then you arrive at the restaurant, sit down, and there, determined to taste the typical San Vitese dish, a mystical experience begins: the king of fish soup literally left us speechless. A bowl full of simple but perfect fish for this dish—cod, weever, red mullet, skate, mantis shrimp, cuttlefish—all immersed in a tomato sauce, flavored with a few pieces of bell pepper, into which you can dip the perfectly toasted bread. You can savor it all at your leisure; for half an hour, it's just you and the dish before you, a true culinary experience. The best part, however, comes as soon as you've finished enjoying the fish and bread, which you know how to manage wisely, mindful of what's next. The pasta of your choice is cooked in the remaining sauce...we opted for squares (like maltagliati) made with water and flour, which are special. For the more indulgent, Lorenzo brings his own chili pepper oil to the table, spicy and fragrant. A cold pecorino from the San Giacomo winery to accompany it all, and the magic is complete. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, with unique decor filled with Atalanta memorabilia. Here you can enjoy authentic Bergamo tradition, such as casoncelli and polenta, served in generous portions and at very fair prices. Signora Giuliana, with her infectious energy, makes the experience unique. In short, it's the perfect place for a genuine lunch or dinner, with excellent value.
