24/10/2025: An elegant and welcoming venue, where the refined atmosphere is complemented by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The table setting is thoughtful and comfortable, contributing to a pleasant experience from the very first moment. The extensive and well-structured wine list offers both national and international labels of excellent quality. We chose meat dishes, finding a selection that satisfied different tastes: some of us opted for appetizers and first courses, others for appetizers and second courses, and a few for just the second course. The chef demonstrated great professionalism in coordinating the service, ensuring the dishes arrived in perfect sequence and allowing us to dine together, without waiting. Our only small disappointment: we weren't informed, when booking, that there was a local festival that evening, which resulted in parking difficulties. However, this didn't detract from the overall quality of the evening.

27/11/2025: We were at this restaurant about ten days ago. We called first to ask if truffles were paid by weight as is usual, and they told us, of course, yes. In reality, they don't weigh them, and you pay 50 euros for the grated part. Not very fair. A rather sad place.

16/11/2025: A traditional restaurant in the heart of Monferrato, serving exquisite local cuisine and seasonal dishes with authentic flavors. The family-run restaurant boasts attentive, friendly service, always ready to please. We loved it so much we returned two days in a row to try other dishes on the menu.

16/08/2025: Excellent dinner! We stumbled upon it by chance but immediately fell in love, so much so that we returned the next day. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes. On the first day (a little heavy from the previous days), we ordered a salad. It was rich and tasty (not ordinary for a salad). On the second day, we opted for the burger with local meat, which was also excellent! We were also very tempted by the pizza, but unfortunately, we were already out of time. If we return to Selva, we will definitely return. Unparalleled value for money.

05/08/2025: Very disappointing service in all aspects, very high prices, decent food, we had a pizza, burnt, with buffalo mozzarella added for three euros, plus we had a decent salad not too good, we waited half an hour for two dishes that could have been done in 15 minutes, we also asked for a bottle of tap water and the waitress replied that she could not give it to us, so she gave us a bottle without a reusable seal, cost €4.20, a cost that not even sealed bottles have, The day before we went to the restaurant opposite where they gave us tap water without problems, plus there is a fountain a short distance from the restaurant that invites tourists to drink the mountain water, I do not recommend this place, plus the total for two dishes and a water plus the cover charge of €2.50 per person with only placemats and without bread was €40

15/12/2025: I discovered Ristorante Capanna because I was looking for an authentic place to enjoy a good casseula. Once there, however, I discovered that they have a very interesting and inclusive menu (they offer vegan and gluten-free options). Their attention to detail is also evident in the quality of their service; the waiters are very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The quality of the food is excellent; the casseula did not disappoint my expectations ☺️ (it's my favorite dish, and I'm a somewhat picky customer when it comes to this dish 😅). The wine and dessert selection is also very extensive and can satisfy all palates. I highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back! See you next time 😉

09/11/2025: A wonderful discovery for me, after a family experience I'd had recently. I received a pleasant welcome, typical of a friendly, approachable, and just-the-right-time staff. Tasty food for all tastes, even for the most discerning and discerning family. Hearty dishes, as if to say, "Next... I can't take it anymore..." An excellent, so to speak... feast... definitely worth repeating and recommending to anyone looking to spend a full day filled with warmth, smiles, and... wines.

09/11/2025: Yesterday, November 8, 2025, I had the pleasure of lunch at this restaurant at the Petina exit on the A2 SA-RC motorway. Tired of quick meals during my long business trip, I found a comfortable, slow-food atmosphere. The table was next to the chef, who was cooking in front of us...a true luxury these days! This way, the customer can watch the entire preparation of their dish. Plus, the food was quality, and I didn't pay much either (€20 for an appetizer and a first course with a glass of red wine). I'll definitely be back!

03/11/2025: A family-run workshop that produces biscuits, cannoli, and cannelloni. I especially enjoyed the latter, which were very soft and perfectly fried.

01/11/2025: Fantastic cannoli. We’ve come here 4 days in a row for breakfast cannoli or Catorccini (ricotta donuts). Almond biscuits are also great. They weigh and add up everything correctly, and very friendly to tourists.

11/10/2025: An extremely interesting museum, both culturally and architecturally, with beautiful and varied exhibitions that have been presented over the years. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the bookshop, which has gone from being a place full of art books and more to something more like a stationery shop selling all sorts of gadgets. It's clear that times have changed...

08/10/2025: An architecturally fascinating structure. It houses permanent exhibitions, including a Futurist section, which I recommend combining with a visit to the nearby Casa futurista Depero. Various painting and photography exhibitions are regularly held.

22/11/2025: The food was top-notch. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious, while the Maremma-style wild boar literally melted in your mouth! A tip for those not from the area: park your car in the lot in front of the church, before the sharp bend.

05/12/2025: Nice atmosphere, mostly with young guests. They offer tasty appetizers and mini pizzas with various toppings. Excellent draft beer. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately, it's very small, and most of the seating is on stools, so it's not very comfortable.
