It's not without reason, and rightly so, that Maria has held a Michelin star as a chef for many decades.
Add to that the attractive interior design and exquisite tableware.
The service is top-notch and completes the feel-good atmosphere.
We'll see you again on your next stay in Gargnano.

The staff were so friendly and let me try a few flavours before choosing.
What I ordered:
⭐️3 flavours in a cup (€3.50)
• Pistachio, Bissap, Grape (forgot the Italian name 😄)
⭐️☕ Espresso with pistachio cream (€2.00) — a must try! 💚
The gelato was creamy, flavourful, and refreshing — definitely worth it!

22/11/2025: Friends recommended this trattoria to me, and I must say, it was a real pleasure to enjoy the hospitality of the entire staff and the authentic flavors of the food. The dishes offered are locally sourced and seasonal, the service is attentive, and the place is welcoming. Fun and original musical moments accompany the good food. Good value. Perhaps the only drawback is the somewhat limited parking. Highly recommended!

The use of simple ingredients makes the final result even more appreciable. The wine selection is also excellent. Compliments to the chef and staff.

10/11/2025: In this review I will try to convey the atmosphere that you breathe at Aunt Luciana, a person of great professional experience and extreme sympathy, her cuisine is typical of the trattorias of the past, authentic flavors that respect the seasonality, the menu offers appetizers, first and second courses with side dishes, dessert and coffee as well as various homemade digestives, Mrs. Luciana's husband manages the room in an excellent manner and welcomes customers with courtesy and professionalism, in short, a certainty and a reconfirmation this little gem located in Siddi, recommended!!!
26/10/2025: We ate lunch at this restaurant. Aunt Luciana is a wonderful lady who pampered our children like a grandmother. We ate well and the food was very good, various appetizers, two first courses and two second courses followed by sweet and bitter coffees. The price was fair and the place was very quiet. I recommend it. Thank you, Aunt Luciana and her husband. 😘

05/10/2025: Passing by, I ate at this culinary wonder. The dishes were truly meticulously prepared, including a special Val d'Ossola cured meats appetizer with two truly exceptional cheeses, delicious polenta concia, and a veal round with tuna sauce and delicious capers—truly superb. The house Val d'Ossola wine was also excellent, and to finish, the Catalan cream with figs and a truly special hazelnut and zabaglione cake! I'll conclude by saying that kindness is a must! 10 out of 10! Stefano. Eleonora.
03/09/2025: We dined at Ristorante Flizzi di Staffa in Macugnaga and it was a memorable experience.
Kudos to the chef for his excellent dishes made with the highest-quality ingredients, to the waitress for her attentiveness and professionalism, and to the owner, a great wine connoisseur, who welcomed us warmly and spent time with us after dinner.
Impeccable service, a refined atmosphere, and unforgettable dishes. It's a shame we only discovered it on the last day of our vacation: we would have loved to try the entire menu!

16/11/2025: We went for lunch yesterday and had a truly pleasant experience. When we arrived, we found an appetizer already prepared, carefully prepared after our phone call. The food was excellent, and the hostess was welcoming and made us feel at ease right away. The atmosphere was simple and familiar: we felt right at home.
Just like at our grandmothers' house 😊
