17/11/2025: Walking distance from colloseo and so worth it, burger with bacon, eggplant, and jalapeños was amazing. Pacheri pasta with pork cheek and artichoke hearts was divine. Waitress was very nice and outside patio was perfect to enjoy the food and views

16/11/2025: An exquisite experience here at Osteria del Ravale, a restaurant in the Campello sul Clitumno area, a short distance from the famous springs described by Virgil and Byron. Excellent Umbrian cuisine is offered at this restaurant, located in a somewhat hidden area near the old Flaminia road. Ample parking and a beautiful structure, typical of an Umbrian stone farmhouse. The interior is also inviting and well-appointed, although there are stairs, making it difficult for the disabled. But let's move on to the dishes. From mountain appetizers to first courses, from meat-based main courses to dessert, it's an explosion of Umbrian flavors and tastes. It's hard to say what to recommend. Try what appeals to you most and you won't be disappointed. A sublime experience. Average price, but excellent quality. Highly recommended! 26/08/2025: They took me there by chance, for an aperitif. The evening continued with an excellent dinner, and since then it has become one of my favorite places. The owners are wonderful, I felt welcomed like I've never felt anywhere else. The food is excellent, the menu varies seasonally, with a few dishes but very well-prepared. 09/10/2025: We were recommended to try this place by a waiter in another restaurant and we were so glad he did! The staff were super lovely, and despite not having a booking, they fit us in. The food was delicious, fresh pasta and lovely sauces. It’s off the beaten track, so not as busy with tourists as other places. A real gem!

The tour is well-organized and allows you to explore both the noble and richly decorated rooms and the darker and more evocative parts, such as the prisons with their cells and grates overlooking the moat. The explanatory panels, historical maps, and reconstructions are very interesting and help you understand the evolution of the city and the castle. The Borso d'Este Bible is splendid, and the model of Renaissance Ferrara is fascinating. The frescoed ceilings and decorations are also worthy of special attention. Recommended for adults and children: it's a comprehensive, engaging, and never boring cultural visit. A must-see if you come to Ferrara. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castello Estense is a must-see landmark in Ferrara. A beautiful and historically rich fortress that perfectly tells the story of the powerful Este family and the city's Renaissance past. The visit is well organized and offers a fascinating contrast between the elegant noble rooms and the darker, more atmospheric areas, such as the prisons overlooking the moat. The historical panels, maps and reconstructions are clear and engaging, helping visitors understand the evolution of the castle and the city. The Bible of Borso d'Este is impressive, as well as the detailed model of Renaissance Ferrara. The decorated ceilings and architectural details are also stunning. Highly recommended for both adults and children: an educational, immersive and never boring experience. A highlight of any trip to Ferrara.

19/10/2025: A well-maintained and charming restaurant... the wait staff is very friendly and polite... generous portions of risotto... exceptional quality of ingredients... risottos are served with seasonal vegetables and fruit. Importantly, they have a fantastic website where you can book in just a few clicks.

We asked about halal options, and they explained which dishes were suitable and which they didn't recommend. Our order was: • Delicious Margherita pizza • Amazing pesto pizza • Delicious vegetable pizza • Two plates of spaghetti from today's menu (with olive oil and olives), which were fantastic • Four Pepsi candies • One large bottle of water The bill came to €101 for six adults, and the portions were very generous. I highly recommend this place; they have indoor and outdoor seating, the food is delicious, the staff is helpful with orders, and the prices are reasonable. 24/10/2025: Superlative dinner in a spectacular setting. The family is incredibly hospitable, helpful, and incredibly kind. You can watch the pig being carved and sit by the fire while it cooks. The more you look at the sheepfold, the more you discover; every corner holds a surprise, from the wooden sculptures to the fossils embedded in the rock, to the ancient tools. A magical place immersed in nature. Reservations are required; follow the directions rather than Google Maps: 3 km of well-maintained dirt road, but still difficult for very low cars. An ABSOLUTELY worthwhile experience if you're in the area.

12/10/2025: I've been coming to this trattoria several times now, and I have to say the quality is always excellent! The fisherman's pasta is delicious and plentiful, and the homemade desserts are excellent. The staff is always welcoming, and the small space makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: Recommended. Prices are in line with other local restaurants. The appetizer was good, and among the first courses, the gnocchi with Norcina-style truffle stood out. The roast was excellent. As for the "ricotta tiramisu," it wasn't the classic tiramisu, but rather a jar of ricotta with pieces of chocolate. It fell short of our expectations. We'll be back anyway. Thanks.

08/12/2025: If you want to eat an amazing pizza, you're in the right place! In addition to the traditional pizza, the gluten-free one is also truly excellent and you can't tell the difference! The staff is very kind and professional, always ready to accommodate customers' requests! Stepping into Parfin gives you that feeling of being part of a big family. I recommend it to everyone.
