24/03/2025: What can I say about this TRATTORIA, written in this way because there are many places with the word trattoria but they have nothing of a trattoria unlike the Fornace which has all the requirements to be one from the place - decor - dishes - service - etc. Very few dishes all excellent, reported verbally by two very kind ladies without a menu. Two of us for lunch on a weekday we tasted two first courses of short pasta one with ragù very good without being heavy with a correct amount of seasoning the other with sauce that we found slightly acidic given by the tomato, two steaks that were not far from the Florentine in size with very tender meat with well-done cooking with side dishes of beans plus chips, two desserts made by them composed of a soft sponge cake soaked in alchermes with layers of cream plus cream, water - wine - coffee plus they also offered bitter or other that we did not take. The value for money super excellent. The only advice for those who want to eat at "La Fornace" is to book otherwise there is a high probability that you won't find a place.

31/03/2025: We just had a fantastic lunch at L'Antica Trattoria. The service was kind and welcoming, with the waiters being friendly with us and our two kids. They offered great starters and a welcome beverage, and all of our appetizers and entrees were exceptional, especially the lemon tagliolini, which is served in a lemon! It is one of the best restaurants we visited on our trip to Italy!

30/03/2025: We came across this historic restaurant in the heart of Sorrento... what can I say, an exquisite dinner in a unique location. Very attentive and friendly service, try the lemon tagliolini! The only flaw is the prices are a bit sky-high, but for the experience you are happy to ignore it. Kind to have also offered us a small sweet ending :)

15/04/2025: Typical restaurant with daily menu, I recommend the tajarin with sausage and leeks and the braised meat, delicious! Good appetizers but not very abundant for the price. I recommend booking, otherwise you will have to wait a bit.

16/11/2024: Excellent stuffed sandwiches in a characteristically mountain setting. Penna bread has always been famous but all the other products are also excellent. Mandatory stop even just to make a quick stop and buy a couple of typical products. As a loyal customer I recommend this place to anyone in the area.

19/03/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch here and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we entered, the elegant and welcoming atmosphere struck me positively, with impeccable service that accompanied us throughout the lunch. The dining room staff is kind and attentive to satisfying every need. The description of the dishes was engaging and allowed us to connect with the territory and the seasonality of the raw materials (of excellent quality). The cuisine is, without a doubt, the heart of the experience: true masterpieces, from the presentation to the balanced and innovative flavors. Each ingredient seems carefully chosen and the preparation original. A perfect balance between tradition and modernity, capable of surprising and conquering our palates. The highlight of the experience was definitely the reinterpretation of the fried egg: a true harmony of flavors, which confirmed the very high level of the cuisine. Even the wine pairing, proposed by the Sommelier, was a pleasant discovery, with a selection that was able to perfectly accompany each course, further enriching the gastronomic experience and tying it, once again to the territory, with local wineries of great quality. A special appreciation also for the small pastries: a perfect final touch. If you are looking for a unique culinary experience, that knows how to surprise and pamper, this is definitely the right place.

07/04/2025: Yesterday, through The Fork, I booked a table for 7:00 pm at this restaurant. However, when we arrived, we discovered that the restaurant was closed, even though it was listed as open on all websites and in the booking confirmation. We called and the lady on the phone confirmed that the restaurant was indeed closed. This situation caused us great inconvenience and disappointment, as we had chosen this restaurant with enthusiasm. We did not expect such an inconvenience and we hope that measures will be taken to avoid similar inconveniences in the future.
