26/11/2025: Osteria Antico Pavone is a simple restaurant where you immediately feel at home. The food is excellent both for lunch and dinner, with tasty, carefully prepared dishes. The menu features traditional dishes, and the quality/price ratio is truly excellent. The staff is friendly and the service is fast, making it ideal for a work break. A reliable place you'll want to return to. A well-deserved five stars.

23/11/2025: It's now become a fully-fledged restaurant. It's lost its old-fashioned tavern/trattoria feel, especially in terms of prices: €40-50 per person for an appetizer, first course, and second course, plus wine by the glass, no dessert.

12/11/2025: It used to be among the best pizzas in Viareggio, but unfortunately, in recent years, it hasn't been the same.

20/09/2025: We arrived just before 10:00 PM without a reservation. Almost all the tables were occupied, but the super kind and attentive staff seated us in no time. The service was excellent, precise, and courteous. Good food. The location was very beautiful.

10/09/2025: Everything was very good, shame about the portions, really starving. It's pointless to charge €17 for fried calamari and serve half a portion. So to finish, good quality, small portions. PS: The owner was rude to our complaints, even a hair on the first course 🤷🏻‍♀️ Be the judge of this!

21/10/2025: We were guests at a graduation lunch. Quality food, super delicious, reasonable prices. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely kind. They make you feel at home, like family. I highly recommend it.

02/11/2025: Clean room with a beautiful view and comfortable bed, completely soundproofed. Our room's only flaw: the bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful, both in terms of atmosphere and selection (for vegans, that's not a given, especially in these areas). The owners are friendly and kind. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par; the waitresses were inexperienced and a bit distracted, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. 10/09/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I've eaten at this restaurant often and have always enjoyed it: the welcoming atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. That's why I hate to write a negative review, but last night's experience was truly disappointing. As soon as we walked in, the waiter—the guy with the tattoos, to be precise—greeted us coldly, listlessly, almost annoyed by our presence. No greeting, no sign of attention, it seemed as if we weren't welcome. We sat down and waited almost 30 minutes for our menus, which never arrived. Meanwhile, a couple of the waiter's friends arrived at the restaurant. Coincidentally, they were immediately served and greeted with welcome prosecco, water, and menus, in record time and, more importantly, before us, who had been waiting much longer like two fools. At that point, considering the negligence and lack of consideration we'd received, we got up and went somewhere else to eat. It was truly sad to have to leave a place I've always appreciated, but we couldn't ignore such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment. I hope the right action is taken, because it's a shame, especially when such service risks alienating customers who have always loved this place.

03/12/2025: The food was excellent in both taste and presentation, the service was courteous, and the place was very well decorated. The only downside is the excessive noise in the place, so much so that at a table of eight people you can't talk unless you're sitting very close to someone. I hope they consider installing soundproofing panels.

10/12/2025: If you haven't eaten at this restaurant yet, you're definitely missing out on the most unique and extraordinary place to eat just steps from the Vatican. The food is freshly prepared, the service is top-notch, and they always make you feel welcome. Every time we're in Rome, we make sure to stop here for a meal. 27/11/2025: I came from Paris, but six years ago I lived in Milan and was a regular at this restaurant. Today I returned as a tourist, eager to relive some fond memories. I had an Italian-style mixed fry, which was really good and well-made, but I was disappointed with the pizza: nothing like the ones I used to eat here, and not even better than the pizzas I've had in fast food restaurants in Paris. The prices have gone up considerably, which I can understand, but the fact that the quality has deteriorated is sad for a famous Italian pizza place in Milan.
