09/11/2025: On October 16th, we had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful lunch at Restaurant Hanswirt. From the very first moment, we sensed the attention to detail – be it in the charming ambiance, the attentive service, or the refined cuisine. Each course was a small work of art, perfectly balanced in flavor and prepared with high-quality ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere: you don't just feel like a guest, but a welcome part of a culinary experience. A huge compliment to the entire team – we will definitely be back!

27/10/2025: We were positively impressed in every respect by our first visit to the restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. We spent another enjoyable evening there and look forward to enjoying the fantastic "complete package" again next year.

09/12/2025: Maperò is a real gem, right in the heart of Corato. It's a three-dimensional meeting place where beautiful things happen. It's a bistro, an American bar, and an open space. Enjoyable atmosphere and friendly service. Malidea recommends!

10/11/2025: Small place with a wide selection of pizzas to take away or eat in (minimum 1 pizza per person to sit down and the price increases by €1) but it's worth it. We ordered ours to take away, delicious.

From the warm welcome to the attentive service, every detail was taken care of with passion. We ate divinely: dishes rich in flavor, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and impeccable presentation. It felt like home... but with the chef of your dreams in the kitchen! A place you'll gladly return to and that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who loves good food and an authentic atmosphere. 29/09/2025: My wife and I picked up two pastries by chance. The staff were all so friendly and nice.. The lemony tart was amazing. Truly excellent. Sitting outside felt very cozy as well despite the traffic.

15/11/2025: We're a couple traveling with a medium-sized dog, and this place is amazing. The walls are full of color, there are TVs, lights, and a very reasonably priced menu. It's a self-service bar with incredibly friendly staff. Water is extra, but bread is included. I absolutely recommend it.

06/11/2025: It's located near a large paid parking lot. I must say I found the food to be high-quality and the staff very friendly. The price is reasonable. One major flaw is that the food wasn't hot, but lukewarm; perhaps in this autumn-winter season, they should be hot. If I pass by again, I'll definitely stop here for lunch.

31/10/2025: Wonderful villa where we attended a wonderful wedding!

25/10/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Villa Canton about a month ago. Since it also serves as a town hall, we chose to hold the civil ceremony there, organized with the help of the wedding planner recommended by the property. The villa is splendid, meticulously maintained, and has a truly magical atmosphere. The property was professional and available throughout the planning process. However, a few aspects left us a little perplexed, which is why our rating isn't fully 5 stars: 1- Seating during the ceremony: Out of approximately 100 guests, we were guaranteed 70 seats, but the photos show there were just over 40. Several guests—including elderly ones—were left standing, which created some discomfort and a sense of a "loss of style" during such an important moment. 2- Fans during the aperitif: During the aperitif, some guests felt hot, and the management independently turned on fans with water mist, informing us only after the event. In the end, we were charged an extra €300 for a service activated for one hour that we had neither requested nor approved. In this context, we would have expected the decision to be up to the couple. 3- Second course: some guests reported that the meat was tough and sinewy. We were unpleasantly shocked to learn that the management attributed this to our choice not to include sauces, which was not true: we had simply requested a gluten-free sauce to include all guests, given the bride's celiac disease. From a venue of this caliber, one would expect greater attention and an appropriate solution for specific dietary needs. Aside from these critical issues, we recognize that the overall organization and management of the day were excellent, and we would like to especially thank Andrea, the restaurant manager, who proved to be discreet, courteous, and always attentive. His professionalism is one of Villa Canton's true strengths. In short, a lovely place and an overall positive experience, with a few aspects that could be improved to make everything truly perfect.

19/10/2025: Service needs rethinking, wait times are too long. Carbonara needs rethinking, it tasted only of raw egg. Seafood linguine was good. When ordering, we chose three different entrees and were asked to order two of the same. I don't think it's fair that when you go to a restaurant and pay €14/15 for a entree, you can't even choose which one you want. We returned hoping to eat as well as last time, but we were disappointed. Let's hope it was just a bad day.

15/11/2025: This is a small, very natural Rome caffe. Extremely good value for money, the caffe is unpretentious in its slightly eccentric fading Gothic theme, but the coffee is great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a strong local clientele but are also understanding of foreign visitors. We had coffee here on three of the four mornings we stayed nearby and already by our second visit the lady owner remembered our order on our last visit. The croissants and pastries were good too. Places like this are to be treasured in the midst of the world stampede towards tourist-orientated offerings. Go there.

01/12/2025: Excellent food, great location, excellent and empathetic owners. The only downside is the waiters: rude and brusque, with no smiles or empathy... more or less all of them. They make the atmosphere imperfect. The owners, who are a completely different breed, should do something about it. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3 in the hope of improving the waiters' friendliness, because everything else is good.

31/10/2025: Excellent little restaurant with limited seating. Everything was delicious, from the taglierino appetizer to the pappardelle with wild boar to the Chianina beef stew. All were paired with a nice red wine recommended by the friendly and professional host. Excellent value for money.

Today, our motorcycle ride, though packed with breathtaking views and spectacular nature, took a back seat... because we discovered a true gem: the Loreta restaurant! Nestled in the mountains, in the hamlet of San Giorgio in the municipality of Crognaleto (TE), it's certainly not a place you stumble upon by chance; you have to go there specifically, with the help of a GPS. It was supposed to be a quick lunch... as always, but thanks to Loreta's kindness and hospitality, we stayed in that little paradise for four hours! No menus, no orders: we simply sat down and let her guide us on a journey of authentic Abruzzo flavors, with countless delicious dishes, laughter, and jokes in dialect. All for the very reasonable price of 25 euros. And the best part? After a delicious meal, we left the table feeling light and happy—a sign of genuine products and lovingly prepared cuisine ❤️ 👉 Highly recommended to all our biker friends! Book in advance and visit Loreta... she'll give you an experience you won't forget! 🏔️🍷
