High-end restaurant with tables overlooking the lake. Professional, if not particularly friendly, staff. Quality ingredients, well-cooked and presented. Very extensive wine list. Why only 3 stars? Because of the excessively small portions. I'm not expecting a trattoria-style portion, but at least adequate. We had two Livorno-style soups (I should have guessed from the "Ette"), two waters, a glass of wine, and coffee, and paid 70 euros.

I was afraid it was a tourist restaurant, but even though it's on the lakefront, it's not. Solid, good traditional cuisine, and, hurrah, they have half bottles. Irritated (one star less) by the waiter who asked me if I had a reservation and went to check, when the place was almost completely empty. I hate making reservations; if it happens again, I'll turn around.

Excellent food, great location, excellent and empathetic owners. The only downside is the waiters: rude and brusque, with no smiles or empathy... more or less all of them. They make the atmosphere imperfect. The owners, who are a completely different breed, should do something about it. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3 in the hope of improving the waiters' friendliness, because everything else is good.

I will definitely visit this restaurant again, of course only if I'm in the area. Very nice atmosphere, friendly and very flexible staff – not like you might say, "they were always trying their best" – no! Honest and courteous.

10/03/2026: What a great find! Even though it's close to home, we'd never tried it before. The place specializes in grilled meats and pizza. We tried the tomahawk and I have to say it was sublime. The staff was kind and attentive. Next time we'd like to try the pizza, which looked really inviting.
