I returned to Vecchia Arona, and found excellent, beautifully presented dishes. I enjoyed a melt-in-your-mouth fish antipasti and an equally delicious risotto with perch fillets. I finished with a mouth-watering cremino. Definitely recommended!! I'll be back soon.

Six of us had lunch on Sunday, tried three tasting menus and à la carte dishes, everything was excellent including the choice of wines and finally the very friendly service, we will definitely be back

A pleasant Sunday lunch in the center of Arona. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, the dishes are beautifully presented, and the service was courteous throughout the meal. 02/06/2026: A truly enjoyable evening at Taverna Antico Agnello. We started with an excellent veal with tuna sauce—soft and tender meat, perfectly balanced sauce, a perfectly executed classic. The borage and ricotta ravioli were delicious: high-quality fresh pasta, a delicate and fragrant filling, a first course that speaks of care and local tradition. The breaded lamb ribs confirmed the house's vocation: precise cooking, crispy crust, succulent meat. The side dish was tasty and well-matched. Also noteworthy were the freshest breadsticks and bread—a detail that makes all the difference and is by no means a given. The staff is professional and courteous, the service quick and without waiting. The price is more than fair for the overall quality. A place we'll gladly return to and recommend without hesitation.
