Daila will welcome you with her smile, her kindness and courtesy befitting a true hostess, but above all expert, prepared, you will immediately understand that she has not opened the doors of her restaurant to you just to sell you something, but to let you be transported into a journey, in a history full of years of hard work to achieve perfection, generations who have worked to breed the best quality beef and to bring others back to their correct place in the rankings of the best Italian meats. Dinner beyond expectations, superb cured meats and cuts. Looking for grilled meat. For the first time we enter this restaurant or in a street between the oldest streets of Milan and its hinterland, on the northern corner of Piazza San Vittore overlooks Via Pomè. This is the street in which a nucleus of buildings still survives which describes the medieval village. In 1347 it was identified by an official document as "Contrada Pomero", probably due to the cultivation of apple trees. Here is the restaurant "La Quale Grill" where Daila welcomes us and makes us sit down and explains to us what they cook and what type of meat they use. Nothing is missing of all types. We focused on a starter, let's call it the house, with cured meats made by them and fried gnocco with melted lard on top... a spectacle for the palate, then we opted for a Florentine steak of Piedmontese meat of around one and three hundred/four hundred kilos grams expertly cooked rare in an impeccable manner, very good, the meat is very tender, you can see that there is a good maturation, we finish with a very good apple pie made by them and 2 slices of pastiera "kettelodicoaffà!!" mode 2 coffees a bitter recommended by the house and a grappa always recommended by the house. Truly particular and very good, you can taste the flavor of the wooden barrel, then at the second sip a delicious aftertaste of mushroom, earth and rosemary. Let's say the price is reasonable for the quality we ate, however an appetizer, 500g of meat each plus a bottle of Barbera wine, Dolce caffè and ammazza caffè €80 each, for what we ate it is a fair price and honest so I highly recommend you, if you want good grilled meat, pop in, you won't regret it. Happy to see my friend Daila again. The meat is delicious, top. It melts in your mouth. I have never eaten such good Florentine steak. The tartare is an absolute must try.
