29/03/2026: The food wasn't bad. Since we were in Italy, we decided to try pizza and pasta; it was nothing special, like you could eat anywhere.

21/03/2026: Dinner at this establishment was disappointing. The food was below average and the service unpleasant and sometimes even aggressive - the place setting, bread, cheese.. were thrown on our table, when paying the waiter asked us where we were from and stood in a way that I couldn't leave the table, reasoning that we might be thieves and he wouldn't let me leave the table until the payment was made. They behaved politely towards other guests, who were more at the table.. Probably because of the potentially bigger sales than we made as a couple..

12/03/2026: Everything was excellent...a welcoming and refined atmosphere, top-notch food, excellent drinks, and prices absolutely in line with the quality offered! The owners, Valentina, her brother, and her mother, run the place with love and passion, and are so friendly, yet unobtrusive, that they make you feel right at home! My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff...BRAVISSI VERY WELL DONE!!!

09/03/2026: We stopped at Birroteca Cattolica on our way from Vasto to Trieste, where we were meeting friends for a wedding. This is obviously a personal and subjective review, based on our experience. We found the place rather spartan and not particularly well-maintained. The staff was very attentive, definitely too attentive: their hospitality was extremely obsequious and overbearing, which, for our taste, was too affected. What really struck us, however, were the prices, which seemed decidedly disproportionate to the quality of the ingredients and the type of venue. Wine by the glass costed over €5 each, crostini di pane cost €15, and a vegan pizza cost €16: high-end restaurant prices that, in our opinion, don't reflect the overall experience. The dishes themselves aren't bad, but the quality-price ratio seemed truly unconvincing. If you don't want to spend a lot for a simple meal, perhaps you're better off going straight.

10/03/2026: We were just wondering through the city center and bumped onto this little gem. It's a very nice restaurant, traditional and quiet. I probably had one of the best 'Pici with ragu' and burrata' I've ever had. The waiter has been friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back!

06/04/2026: Beautifully situated above Trento, with well-maintained infrastructure and very dog-friendly – ​​a place to feel at home. The breakfast is plentiful and of truly excellent quality. The restaurant also boasts outstanding cuisine. There are a few minor drawbacks, however: The parking lot occasionally resembles chaos more than organization – a shuttle to the city center would be a charming solution. Breakfast gets quite lively during peak hours, and the attire of some guests (flip-flops or straight from the gym) creates more of a beach than a hotel atmosphere – a more understated dress code would certainly be advisable. Dogs in the breakfast room are also a bit much. In conclusion: A wonderful place with a lot of charm – with a few minor adjustments, it would be almost perfect.

03/04/2026: The restaurant is stunning, definitely one of the most beautiful in Valtellina. The cuisine is excellent and unlike anything else you'll find in Sondrio. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is truly hospitable. Excellent value for money! For a unique evening, to celebrate something special, or to try a cuisine unlike anything else you'll find in the valley. Absolutely a must!

14/02/2026: What can I say?! Everything was perfect. Chef Mancino's menu of classics is superb, with some iconic dishes like red mullet and linguine. Impeccable service. Dream location. A well-deserved two Michelin stars!

01/04/2026: Just stopped by for a quick visit. Parking is free but limited. Currently, there's a small selection of cakes. No big deal... still delicious. The staff is efficient and friendly. Very nice view of Lake Garda.

02/12/2025: We randomly tried this place for a quick lunch and it turned out to be a great discovery. The pizza is truly delicious, even though I tend to be wary of electric ovens. The prices are fair, and the toppings are plentiful and high-quality. The young pizza chef is very kind and welcoming. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Venice.

07/03/2026: Went to Il Cannolo twice while visiting Milan. Our favorite Cannoli place! I brought my dog, named Cannoli, in his Cannoli bag. Signora who served us was so incredibly kind. We enjoyed our Cannoli’s very much! Would return to Milan just for these Cannoli’s! Grazie mille!

07/03/2026: Cannolo che cannolato: very good, filled on the spot. Very fair prices: the small one is €3 and the large one is €4.50. We'll definitely be back.
