06/09/2025: In March we were staying right next to the restaurant, and we went in here to eat. Very friendly staff and 10/10 food. In December we will be in Milan again and we will come here specifically to eat 🙂

07/09/2025: It’s a small restaurant located right in front of San Lorenzo Basilica. The waitress was friendly and spoke English well. I really enjoyed the steak, but the pasta could have been better. The prices are quite high.

27/08/2025: Good food but needs more seasoning and some food tastes gritty. Please clean the seafood better. Also we asked for 2 salads but when they came they both had chicken in it and it was very expensive!! The Chinese staff didn’t seem as friendly as other restaurants. I’m high level Google guide but they did not offer us any limoncello after our meal. Only $5 discount. Every other restaurant in Venice offered us many free limoncello’s. Not a great view, just a brick wall. Grazia

21/07/2025: Welcomed by a gentleman who treated us with great care, his fine cuisine is exquisite! It's worth ordering 2-3 dishes (Italian style) because the portions aren't large, so you'll enjoy the delicious food right up until dessert. Go for it... Bon appétit!

07/09/2025: Step outside the main dining centre of Monopoli to find this hidden gem. Metae is a must to try when in Monopoli. Chef Massimo uses local fresh ingredients in a unique way to create an incredibly interesting and delicious dining experience. I came here with my tour group and Massimo created a divine menu for us which was just perfect. Our wonderful waiter Enzo bought us the perfect accompaniment of local wines which were also a standout. This is my 4th time dining at Metae and it won’t be my last. Hands down uniquely diverse and delicious menu and a must when visiting Monopoli. Definitely book before hand.

Owner Enzo and his staff pamper guests with extreme kindness, offering passionate advice and making the experience a family affair. The cuisine is refined, with seafood dishes revisited with a modern twist, thanks to the freshest ingredients.

18/08/2025: A truly Roman restaurant! We booked for a Saturday night, and I think due to the capacity and the number of people, it took about 15-20 minutes for the dishes we ordered to arrive. However, the wait was worth it, and the staff apologized for making us wait, which was appreciated, as they were very friendly. The food was excellent, the tomatoes were top-quality, and the ingredients were all local. The neighborhood had a great atmosphere.

26/08/2025: We chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. From the moment we were greeted in the parking lot, we felt pampered. The chef is a true master of the house, checking with all his guests to determine their tastes and create the most satisfying menu possible. The rest of the staff is equally outstanding and very professional. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return, even if it's just for a special treat. Excellent wine list. Special mention for: Welcome aperitif Prosciutto appetizer Pasta with sea urchins John Dory... basically, everything! Congratulations again

15/09/2025: Spectacular!! A spectacular restaurant in a magnificent location. Let's just say that more than a dinner, ours was a fantastic culinary experience... From the highly refined starters to the sublime main courses, we delighted our palates with truly marvelous dishes. We chose the truffle risotto (which I personally adore), the ricotta and mascarpone gnocchi with pumpkin cream, and the addition of the day was the pasta with wild boar ragù. Needless to say, we didn't find a thing out of place. The main courses were sashimi entrecote from Finland and tartare with egg and truffle. All dishes that literally blew our taste buds away. We finished it all with an excellent strawberry grape sorbet, and the dinner was a resounding success. Oh, and I forgot... the portions are certainly not skimpy like at many other places of this caliber. We will definitely be back because EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! Cl Compliments to all the staff and management.

23/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say it was a truly excellent experience. The pizza was exceptional, with a light and digestible dough, well-leavened and tasty. The staff was always friendly and courteous. I was also impressed by the atmosphere: clean, tidy, and very quiet, perfect for a pleasant evening with friends. Highly recommended for those looking for quality, professionalism, and a welcoming atmosphere! We'll definitely be back to try the burgers, which looked delicious.

20/08/2025: A spontaneous decision was a brilliant idea! We made a reservation and sat outside (the street is right in front of the door, but that's just how it is here 😉). The service was excellent! Very friendly, quick, and accommodating! We had two starters (homemade spinach bread dumplings + ravioli in lemon sauce), which were truly fantastic!!! The pizza was amazing (you could top it yourself with ham or salami). The traditional home-style cooking (Boateng territory) and the fish of the day with polenta were also incredibly delicious!!! And I'm not just sniveling; we've had other restaurants here to compare them to! The wine was the same; we had a Chardonnay, which was really very good! The value for money was truly outstanding! An all-around delicious evening! I highly recommend it!!! Very tasty, great service, simply good! 💪🏻👍🏻🤩😍

18/08/2025: We visited several times during our vacation and had a fantastic time every time! Christian captivated us with his warm personality, and we always looked forward to seeing him. The croissants, espresso, and Aperol were delicious. We would definitely go back!

The beer list is a real highlight: in addition to the classic draft beers, there's a wide selection of bottled beers, including local labels, such as craft beers, and specialty beers distributed by Mebimport, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to the local area and its diverse offerings. The staff is helpful and friendly, providing prompt and organized service. The interior, while not particularly spacious, is well-conditioned and suitable even on the hottest days; during the warmer months, the outdoor garden is a pleasant option, offering a more relaxed and informal atmosphere.

07/09/2025: Delicious pizza and amazing ingredients! We went for dinner on a Saturday night without a reservation: the staff were incredibly kind and seated us as soon as possible, even remaking the pizzas that were supposed to be takeout!
