27/04/2025: Cena in un locale piccolo ma molto accogliente. Abbiamo preso due primi tipici del posto (pasta fatta in casa) e un secondo assieme ad un calice di vino. Tutto davvero molto buono, anche i proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Una nota allo chef (credo che si tratti del proprietario) che più di una volta è passato per i tavoli per chiederci se la cena stesse proseguendo bene, cosa non molto comune ma che abbiamo apprezzato. Consigliato e sicuramente ritorneremo

16/04/2025: We were seven adults, all frequent visitors of very fine restaurants around the world, and everyone left saying it was one of the best meals they've ever had. Each bite was accompanied by wows and also each sip of the house red wine (which we then bought plenty of to take home). The service was also wonderful. So happy we stopped by.

12/05/2025: We were on a trip to Rome with the class and stopped here, already knowing the place in Florence and Scandicci. The flavors are the same and the quality is always excellent. Also very kind in the service offered to the kids.

05/05/2025: a pleasant discovery, "recommended" by an excellent score from The Fork. Refined menu, genuine raw materials, impeccable service with very useful explanations of the various dishes. All good, but special mention for the roasted octopus on a bed of escarole and provola, cheese and pepper linguine with croaker and lemon. The fried prawns and calamari are also excellent The choice of coffees is very pleasant, very good too

03/05/2025: Altavela is one of those discoveries that surprise for the balance between quality, service and atmosphere. The staff is extremely courteous, present but never intrusive: a dry, attentive, simply perfect service. Each dish is introduced to the table with a timely and detailed presentation, which enhances the work in the kitchen. The house specialties are, as is natural in Fiumicino, seafood dishes - prepared with technique, taste and creativity. The wine list is well stocked: I chose a truly excellent Greco di Tufo, perfect to accompany the courses. Even the desserts were up to the standard of the rest of the meal, with particular care in both preparation and presentation. The price? More than honest, especially in relation to the overall quality. In my opinion, Altavela deserves a Michelin star.

22/04/2025: No tengo ni idea de cómo llegan a la alta calificación. Visité con mi hija. Pedido Saltimbocca y Pasta con ajo y queso. La señora detrás del mostrador era muy baja y tomó nuestra orden. Creo que ella podría haber explicado que la carne es básicamente dos pequeñas rebanadas con un pan seco. Sin laterales. € 10. Mi pasta no había visto ajo, hierbas, parmigiana ni sal. Tan mal que en realidad estoy enojado conmigo mismo por no decir nada. Creo que la imagen habla por sí misma. Las bebidas son baratas si eso es lo que buscas

13/04/2025: We ate here on our very last day visiting Syracuse. We all so wished we would have ran into this gem on the first day, because then we would have gone back for sure. It’s the real deal! Authentic Sicilian food, amazing pastas, to die for lasagna, and mammma mia what a Tiramisu! The staff is extremely nice, loud, bubbly, and truly enjoy giving customers a great time. If I was a local, I would be a regular!

04/05/2025: The restaurant has a breathtaking view, the food is all delicious: from the appetizer to the meat to the desserts. Selection of very high quality wines and honest prices. Samuele was super! We will definitely be back. 10+

03/05/2025: What a great restaurant! It was a Saturday night we did not have a reservation. We had spent the entire day sightseeing through Tuscany and just wanted a little bite to eat, and this restaurant was just five minutes from our Airbnb. Not only were they able to accommodate us even though they were full, but we had exceptional service, and the food was outstanding! Our server was the absolute sweetest. I wish that we had more time in Tuscany so we could eat here again, and it’s on my list of places to visit when we return! Alla prossima!!!!

18/04/2025: What a great discovery! Absolutely delicious cuisine from antipasto to dessert, good products, a beautiful blend of tradition and creativity, meat cooking to perfection, for dishes full of finesse and flavor, accompanied by a beautiful wine list. An address that we can only recommend!
