17/09/2025: An intimate venue with interesting historical details about Castruccio Castracani from the early 14th century. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the food lives up to expectations. Excellent as both a pizzeria and a restaurant.

15/10/2025: The restaurant is beautiful, partly converted from old stables. The food is excellent, combining mountain refuge with Veronese cuisine. The landscape is relaxing, perfect for walks along the trails and in the woods. A must-try!

13/10/2025: Everything! Excellent location for setting off on bike or foot to explore the trails. Welcoming and spacious room, excellent breakfast with fresh, local products. Friendly and helpful staff, they even let us store our bikes in their garage. We also had dinner at the restaurant: all the dishes were truly excellent and reasonably priced.

13/12/2025: Food truck near the island of Ortigia. Wide selection of sandwiches only, as piadina is banned. The horsemeat sandwich is good, and I think it's among the cheapest in all of Syracuse. The only downside is the cats. I understand it's a food truck in the middle of the road, but it could be remedied with a cat repellent, or a more thorough wash, etc. The smell of cat urine bothered me. Too bad.

I already knew the restaurant, but every time I'm amazed by the quality and presentation of the food, as well as the attentive, courteous, and impeccable service. At dinner, despite it being completely packed due to numerous groups and associations celebrating before Christmas, they lived up to their expectations and everything was perfect. Food and organization Great pours! I highly recommend it.

06/09/2025: A very beautiful lodge with a fantastic view. Here you can stop and relax in the sun on free loungers and then enjoy traditional dishes. In addition to the classic appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, we enjoyed an excellent venison loin with sautéed potatoes, mushrooms, and cranberries. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

27/11/2025: On our first evening in Syracuse, we ate at ù Caruso (=il ragazzo). It was so delicious and reasonably priced, and the owners (la famiglia Caruso) were so friendly, that we ate there twice more. We definitely recommend the Pizza Diavola (con cipolle), Capricciosa, and Caprese, along with a mixed salad or Mediterranean salad. The pasta dishes and grilled vegetables are also fantastic. And the best dessert, of course, is the cannelli, a typical Sicilian dish.

01/12/2025: I highly recommend it. Welcoming and artistic atmosphere. We were two couples and we had the Genoese frittatina (excellent), pizza (excellent), and a large Montanara al pomodoro (superb). The selection of craft beers was also excellent. The staff was extremely courteous; Alessandra served us and, thanks also to her smile, was excellent. Thank you.

05/10/2025: They're magnificent, style 🔝!!! They write this and it's perfect! There's no confusion in our dishes: every ingredient has its own story, its own purpose, its own order. Our cuisine is seasonal, with simple, good, and clear flavors. "Do a few things, but make them with good products, and with passion," our chef Gianni Spegis would say. The menu is the result of study and hard work; nothing is left to chance. Good food should make people feel good, bring a smile, and provide a moment of conviviality, and these are our mantras that help inspire us every day. I recommend you go eat and see everything magnificent on the hill!

05/10/2025: We went to celebrate a wedding. The venue was spectacular, with beautiful views for photos. The service was excellent, as was the food. A good experience in a good restaurant.
