Pizzeria Trattoria l'Ora In Bardolino

It was easy to get a table without a reservation, as we arrived spontaneously. The menu is extensive, offering a wide selection of pizzas and other dishes, but the service was poor. There was no friendliness towards us or other guests, no special requests, and no inquiries about whether everything was alright. The portions were large, but the food tasted incredibly bland – no seasoning, nothing. If you're really hungry and price-conscious, you might enjoy it, but I wouldn't eat there again.

From the outside, it's very unassuming, but there's a very large room in the back. Unfortunately, the view isn't great as it's in the courtyard, but the decor and atmosphere are still quite nice. Regarding the food: we had pizza to go once, and it was fantastic! So we decided to eat in again. We ordered an appetizer platter, pasta primo, and a main course. Everything was very satisfying, and the prices were excellent. We would definitely choose it again.

It's not a fancy place, very clean, very authentic, and everything is quite fresh. But the food was really, really good. We had paella for €25 per person, which was totally worth it. It was loaded with seafood and tasted amazing. The kids' meals were delicious too. The carpaccio was also great. The pizza looked absolutely fantastic. I hope L'ora sticks to its "great value for money" concept forever. I would definitely come back.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our first evening. The food was so perfect that we ended up coming back every night. They have a real wood-fired pizza oven! 😍❤️ Whether it was pizza, pasta, dessert… everything was incredibly delicious. 😍🙏 We're going to miss the food so much when we get back to Germany. 😭 Our dog was always welcome and warmly received. Excellent pizzeria restaurant, I recommend it to everyone, even those who are gluten intolerant, very kind people!

The pasta leaves much to be desired. The mushroom fettuccine was seasoned with oil and frozen mushrooms. The pizzas were okay.

On our first evening at Lake Garda, we spontaneously decided to try this restaurant. We ordered two pizzas and a side salad, along with a bottle of red wine 🍷🍷, a bottle of sparkling water, and two glasses of Grappa Barrique. The pizza with anchovies, caramelized onions, raisins, and olives was fantastic—a perfect blend of salt and sweet 👍🏻. To top it off, we were given two complimentary glasses of Limoncello. We have absolutely no complaints and it gets a full ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value for money 👍🏻. We'll definitely be back, as the dishes on the other tables looked so tempting.
