08/06/2025: Great restaurant with excellent food, extremely friendly and attentive staff, and a superb location. A clear recommendation.

08/06/2025: There’s something magical about L’Horloge, maybe it’s the warm vibe on Via Santa Filomena, or maybe it was the pistachio fondue that stole the show. Either way, this spot delivers. We started with the burrata and anchovy bruschetta (simple, salty, creamy perfection) and the “Après Demain” salad, which was fresh and beautifully balanced. But the real star? That fondue. Pistachio rich, velvety, and paired with roasted potatoes, bread, and pickled veggies, it was indulgence done right. The rib steak mains were seared perfectly and laid on a bed of crispy sweet potato fries, drizzled with more pistachio sauce because, hey, when in Sicily… Service was another highlight. Nicole guided us through the menu with genuine care and paired our wine like a pro, great bottle, very fairly priced. To top it all off, we had a surprise visit from @rockin_kitchen_sicily, whose energy and good humor made the night unforgettable. L’Horloge is more than a meal, it’s an experience. 5/5. Would come back without hesitation.

23/06/2025: Great find, great service, great food, great drinks, the only big negative as a none smoker is people who have finished their meal decide to smoke but don’t give non smokers consideration when they are eating and as the eating area is literally a path, this can be off putting. I do find it strange why smokers don’t smoke while they are eating 🤮

Good prices, good food and helpful staff - giving it their all to explain everything in English knowing that we couldn’t understand Italian which we’re extremely grateful about. 12/05/2025: I am referring to the restaurant which I found very expensive in relation to the quality and quantity of the dishes, the offer and preparation of the dishes rather banal. Rude and unavailable service certainly doesn't help to digest the bill. 4 people 2 starters 2 first courses 4 second courses and 1 dessert with a (terrible) bottle of local wine over 200 euros.

24/06/2025: Very friendly staff. We had lunch there on June 23, 2025 (La Grangia pan with fried eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes), plus coffee and cake. Everything was delicious.

08/06/2025: We came across this Larderia by recommendation on the local threshold. Enchanting place, kind and friendly managers. Exceptional products, we tasted them on the veranda with the mountains and marble quarries in front. Very honest prices.

08/06/2025: I regret leaving a negative review, especially because I had chosen this restaurant on the advice of friends and had invited other people with rather high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We dined in the veranda, where the noise level was so high that it was very difficult to converse at the table - it is not the fault of the staff, but it is an aspect that negatively affects the quality of the evening. We ordered a house appetizer that was served to us after a very long wait, well over 40 minutes. When we asked, we were told that the cutting board takes time to prepare. However, the content did not justify the wait: two whole salamis to peel and slice yourself, along with other products that, personally, I found qualitatively mediocre. In the meantime, while we were still eating the appetizer, we were served the first courses. I had chosen the pici with truffle and pecorino cheese, which disappointed me as much as the appetizer: they seemed to be seasoned simply with oil, a light sprinkling of pecorino cheese and a few flakes of flavorless “truffle”. To prevent them from getting cold, we had to leave the appetizer half-eaten. One person in our group, who had decided to skip the first course to have a second course (a fillet), was the only one who was satisfied with the dish received. During dinner, a waiter asked us how it was going. A little embarrassed - because I honestly felt sorry - I replied that unfortunately it wasn't going well. The waiter simply reported it to the owner, who however didn't bother to come to the table, nor to ask for explanations, nor to apologize. In conclusion, as far as I'm concerned it was a disappointing experience, especially for the quality of the dishes, the waiting times and the customer management. I don't think I'll be back.

25/05/2025: Top sandwich shop. Outdoor and indoor seating, homemade sandwiches, plentiful and delicious...I'll be back. I recommend the lampredotto sandwich, it can compete with the best tripe shop in Florence
