Fabulous dishes, friendly and kind staff, compliments to the chef, I highly recommend it

A family-run trattoria that embodies all that is good about Rocca Sinibalda.

Today we visited Rocca Sinibaldi and stopped at Trattoria La Fontana. And I have to say, it was an excellent choice. First of all, they welcomed us as if we were longtime customers. I had tagliolini with local asparagus and sausage, delicious, and my partner had gnocchi with lamb sauce. Delicious. And to finish, the meat was incredibly tender and delicious. I must say, everything was excellent, and we enjoyed a lovely LOCAL CRAFT beer. Thanks guys, until next time. This is the umpteenth time I've been to Giacomo's, an exquisitely kind person, always available to everyone. And what can I say? We've become great friends, so that gives you an idea of ​​the atmosphere you're in. Thanks Giacomo.

Excellent cuisine, just like at grandma's house! Rare to find.

We give this restaurant a 10. We had a divine meal, everything homemade, and it's family-run. The farro tagliatelle with guanciale, artichokes, and pecorino cheese was mouth-watering; the guanciale with chestnuts and apples was superb; the artichokes were the best we've ever had. All of this was topped off with the kindness and helpfulness of the owners. Kudos to the chef!

Neither good nor bad A family-run local trattoria... a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The dishes we ordered were good, but I wasn't particularly impressed, considering I know them well from having eaten them elsewhere. I would have even given it an extra star if at the end of the meal, when our plates were collected, they had asked us if we were okay with that, or if we'd ordered dessert or unsweetened coffee... but nothing happened, and over ten minutes went by without anyone coming to the table to ask... they just walked right by without even looking at the table. They would have noticed that we tried to get their attention twice to ask... even verbally. But nothing! What a shame.

I found all the dishes I liked, and a very pleasant surprise: the exquisite artichoke salad! But the Roman-style tripe and polenta with spare ribs were also very good. I particularly appreciated the cook's sparing use of salt. In short, it's worth trying.

A gem in the center, good food, delicious service. Fair prices.
