17/05/2025: Ethnic and particular style restaurant located in the center of Lamezia Terme. I must say that the food is quality, fresh and cared for in the smallest details. We ordered an appetizer, I had the chicken cutlet and my friends had the pizza and we were very satisfied. The service was a little slow, but beyond this the staff was kind and helpful. I will be back!

We stayed in Pastrengo for two nights and came to dinner both evenings in this family-restaurant where Sara was there to welcome us, a collaborator so good that we thought she was the owner. Excellent dishes, food made all by them with prices that were too honest. At the end of the evening we met the owner and master in the kitchen Stefano who with his simplicity and friendliness won us over. Having learned that we were two newlyweds the following evening they had a table decorated for the occasion ready for us. Truly warm-hearted people ❤️

22/05/2025: “Welcome to the experience… welcome to Calvi” It’s not just a slogan. It’s exactly what happens when you enter their home: they open the doors to their home, welcome you with a smile and treat you like family. This is Calvi: warmth, passion, care. It’s one of those places where you don’t just go to eat well — even if, trust me, you eat like a god — but to live a moment. The place is elegant and welcoming, with large and comfortable spaces. But my favorite corner is near the pass, because from there I can see everything. The kitchen is completely open, a real theater where the show never stops. I could stay there for hours watching how they move, how they take care of every detail… and in fact, every now and then, my wife calls me to order! Chef Donato is young, but with an edge. He has a head, a heart and a lot of hunger (not just for cooking, but for growing): he studies, travels, puts himself to the test. He never stops. Angelica, on the other hand, is the sommelier you would always like to have at your table: brilliant, very friendly, knowledgeable. She reads inside you and can always recommend the right glass, even if you want to dare with a cocktail or a spirit. In the dining room there is also Domenica, sweet, smiling, who makes you feel immediately at ease. Their cuisine is lively, contemporary, but rooted in tradition. You can find meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, daily specials, new dishes every season... but always with a clear philosophy: seasonality, respect for the raw materials and zero waste. I have eaten some of the best dishes of my life at their place. And every time it is different, because the menu changes, the inspiration changes... but the quality never changes. And then there are the leavened products. Bread, focaccia, sandwiches, panettone, brioche: all made by them, with sourdough and selected flours. I often stop by just to get the freshly baked bread, because it is truly special. I close with desserts and ice creams… which are not just “good”. They are poetry. The ice creams are churned on the spot, the desserts are never banal. Calvi is not just any restaurant. It is a real experience, made of heart, technique, family and so much beauty. If you have the chance, go there. Let yourself be embraced.

22/05/2025: I must admit that I have never been to the Calvi restaurant and it was a truly pleasant discovery, a gastronomic experience that manages to combine elegance and simplicity with great balance. The cuisine is of the highest level, with attention to the smallest details both in the plating and in the flavors. Each dish tells a story of research and passion, thanks to excellent quality ingredients, fresh and carefully selected. The combinations are refined but never excessive, capable of enhancing the natural flavors without overloading them. The service is another strong point: friendly, present but never intrusive, with a staff always ready to recommend and explain with competence the dishes and the wines to pair. You feel pampered from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a lunch with friends. The environment manages to convey serenity, with an attention to detail that is also reflected in the furnishings and background music. Finally, the quality-price ratio is more than fair. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the mastery of the kitchen and the level of service, the bill is absolutely adequate and well balanced. In short, Calvi is a restaurant where you gladly return: to eat well, relax and feel welcomed. A round of applause to Donato for his passion. Highly recommended.

15/06/2025: We took the tasting menu, everything was good, but the braised cheek, something exceptional, I can't understand how places where you eat terribly, are full and here, Sunday lunch, not much.....well I think we've lost a bit the concept of eating well Thanks

08/06/2025: I had never been there before but it surprised us positively. The place is very nice, the atmosphere is young and attentive. The food we had was all very good and well presented. Absolutely recommendable and we will return to try more.

08/06/2025: Absolutely incredible and a must visit. Food was incredible - and the best we’ve had in Italy thus far. Service was intimate and as if we were part of the family. The atmosphere was unique and something we’ll always remember. The menu is fixed, and the staff’s knowledge of English is limited, but those are signs of an authentic eating experience we haven’t found anywhere else. Would recommend again and again!

07/06/2025: Wine glass Sejan and delicious meal. Truffles are cooked together in every plate and if you order a wine glass, it fills half of the plate👍 It's so delicious It was a bit salty for me who eats lightly...But it's still delicious. It's a restaurant I want to visit again! I liked the red wine better than the white wine, but the white wine is also good!! It was a new experience because there was an owl and the owner was so nice!! I recommend it

20/05/2025: Despite being in a tourist place, I have to say that the food is really good. Sure, you spend maybe a little more but it's worth it. The staff, kind, only that we were very annoyed that they rushed us to leave. For the rest I recommend the place and especially their lasagna.
