08/07/2025: Follina is a good base for exploring the Prossecco Wine Route. It's a clean, 3-star hotel run by a couple who take great care of their guests. It has a garden, parking, and a safe in the room. The breakfast is really good and plentiful. It's very good value for money.

05/08/2025: Unfortunately, our experience at jamm was disappointing in almost every way. The food was truly poor quality: we ordered pizzas, four fried pizzas, two main courses, and five first courses, and there were 14 of us, but everything arrived with an interminable wait, even though the place wasn't full. The service was slow and disorganized, and the environment left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness—which is unacceptable considering the prices, which are truly exorbitant for what's offered. The only positive note is the view, which is truly breathtaking. But it's certainly not enough to justify the rest. We won't be returning, and we don't recommend it. In the end, they even added a dessert to the bill that they never brought, and we paid more than 40 euros each. Even considering that I didn't order anything for myself.

04/07/2025: We went here because they have a good non-seafood selection, and there are two in our group who don’t like seafood (so most restaurants in Venice give us limited choices). The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and helpful in choosing selections. Polenta was a bit flavorless, and the vegetable soup lacked richness, but the rest of the meal was very good. The fish soup is more of a seafood soup (lots of shellfish). The fried seafood had a light breading. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauces were flavorful. The desserts sounded good, but we skipped them to go to a gelato shop. And air conditioning! One of the coldest places we visited, in a good way. An hour out of the heat was worth the price alone.

22/07/2025: Where do I start? Unfortunately, I left this meal very disappointed. I first visited Bistrot in July 2020 with my mother. We discovered it by chance, tried it, and were absolutely impressed, every dish was outstanding, the service was excellent, and we returned the very next night. We left Forte dei Marmi with beautiful memories, one of the most vivid being the amazing dinners we had there. Fast forward five years: I’m back in Forte, this time with my boyfriend for one night. As soon as we planned the trip, I booked Bistrot immediately because I wanted him to experience the same exceptional food. I also noticed they had since earned a Michelin star, which raised my expectations even more. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to them. We were seated promptly, but the atmosphere felt chaotic. The staff weren’t exactly rushing, but there was a constant sense of urgency that made the space feel stressful rather than refined. Both my boyfriend and I noticed it straight away, not what you expect from a Michelin-level experience, but we were still hopeful. While ordering, I mentioned my allergies, and the waiter took note. He also pointed out that my boyfriend had only ordered meat dishes and asked if it was a preference, since the chef would be sending out amuse-bouches. We confirmed it was, and he said he’d inform the kitchen. When the amuse-bouches arrived, my boyfriend’s plate was identical to mine, two of the bites contained fish. He decided to try them anyway, but the oversight was disappointing. I also double-checked with the waiter who served them if they were safe for me (celery allergy). He said one might contain celery, something I had already informed another staff member about. He went to double-check and came back confirming it was safe, but this shouldn’t happen in a Michelin-starred restaurant. For starters, I had the calamari with chickpeas, and my boyfriend had the beef tartare. Both were beautifully plated, but lacked flavor. My calamari needed seasoning, and the tartare, though served with a sauce, tasted like plain meat. Thankfully, the bread selection was delicious, one of the few highlights up to that point. For the main course, I had the turbot, and my boyfriend had the green chicche with rabbit ragù and salted ricotta. Again, mine was bland. His, on the other hand, was flavorful and by far the best dish of the evening, the only one we’d recommend. For dessert, we shared a mascarpone cream with berries and cacao crumble. It was okay, but unremarkable. The true highlight of the evening was the sommelier, a young man who was friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently attentive. He helped us choose a wine and checked in with us throughout the night. His service was truly appreciated and stood out from the rest of the staff. That said, there were other service issues. We were seated at what I believe was the worst table in the restaurant, right in front of a door to the terrace. Staff constantly passed through, and every time, my hair (which I had in a bun) was brushed or bumped as they moved past. It was distracting and unpleasant, and no one seemed to notice. There were also a few issues with wine service. My boyfriend’s glass sat empty for a while until he poured it himself. A staff member noticed and apologized, but later in the meal the same thing happened, his glass stayed empty for another eight minutes before being refilled. The bill came to around €270, which I wouldn’t have minded at all had the food and service matched what I experienced in 2020. Sadly, it didn’t. I know some of my comments might seem picky, but I believe they’re fair, especially when evaluating a Michelin-starred restaurant. Even without the star, I don’t think I’d return. The food simply wasn’t memorable. It’s such a shame. I remembered this place as truly special. I hope my feedback is taken as a genuine opportunity to reflect and improve.

10/08/2025: We were a group of ten that showed up without a reservation and they didn’t hesitate to accommodate us. The food was excellent. I tried the pizza, pasta with shrimp and vongole. All were excellent. The French fries were delicious.

09/08/2025: Overrated!!! We went to the restaurant. We'd been trying to book for a while. Unfortunately, aside from the location, nothing else was to our liking. The service was disappointing: aseptic, mechanical, unsmiling, and lacking in elegance and empathy. I requested a reserved table, but we were in the middle of the passageway facing inward, not toward the view. Then I discovered the terrace outside. If we'd known, we would have definitely wanted to stay there. The disappointment was the food, as the research and quality of a Michelin-starred restaurant were inconsistent with the price. It wasn't that it wasn't good—the ingredients were there, no doubt—but the refined and/or well-paired flavors were lacking: the peach covering the lobster, the foie gras dish full of ingredients that they don't explain in what order or how to eat—you're standing there, not understanding what they're doing—the flavors were disjointed, like the tortellini with cocoa. In short, I perceived the attempt at research but unfortunately not the success. I find it inconsistent in terms of experience and cost. I can't explain the star, because compared to what you find in the square, it's far from a starred rating. Ultimately, weighing the pros and cons is simple; just answer the question "Would you go back?" And unfortunately, it's a no. I'm so sorry, we've been wanting to come for a long time...

14/07/2025: Roberto. . Roberto. . Roberto... por dónde empiezo. Mi familia y yo visitamos recientemente la ciudad amurallada de Treviso en vacaciones de verano. Es realmente una ciudad maravillosa con tanta cultura, ambiente e historia. Nos topamos con una serie de impresionantes iglesias y catedrales, pero ninguna tan impresionante como el pequeño campanario que se encontraba al otro lado de la calle de nuestro alojamiento. Pizzería Roberto. Dentro, quedó el sacerdote, el hombre que hizo de nuestra experiencia en esta ciudad algo que atesoraremos durante años. Durante las tres noches que pasamos en la zona, las nubes y la tormenta inundaron las calles empedradas. En nuestra segunda noche, cuando decidimos buscar otro restaurante para probar, se levantó el viento, volaron sombrillas y nos llevaron de regreso a Roberto. Lo mismo sucedió la noche siguiente. ¿Coincidencia?... No lo creo. Desde el ambiente informal, al personal amable, a la elección musical perfecta, cada noche, nos recibían de vuelta con los brazos abiertos, volviendo a lo que mejor sabíamos, como si volviéramos a confesar nuestros pecados. Y cada noche, nos perdonaban con creces. Pizza Nduja y Burata, Ragu, Arancini, Mariscos, la lista continúa. Después de probar casi todos los elementos del menú entre nuestra familia durante las tres noches, no había un solo bocado de comida en la mesa. Lujoso, Sabroso, Delicioso... hay tantas palabras que puedes usar para describir la comida, pero después de nuestro tiempo en este establecimiento, se nos ha ocurrido una nueva... Roberto. 26/07/2025: Stavano tornando da Ascoli Piceno, con direzione Grottammare. Ore 22,00. Chi poteva soddisfare la nostra fame dopo una giornata di camminate alla scoperta dei meravigliosi borghi e città della Marche? Internet ancora una volta arriva in aiuto. Sulla strada, fra qualche chilometro ci viene segnalato questo locale. Il nome già ci soddisfa.! Ci fermiamo. Il parcheggio è pieno di auto. Buon segno! Vista l'ora tarda chiediamo se si poteva ancora cenare certi di una quasi risposta negativa. "Si! Un tavolo per tre lo si trova sempre" - risposta che suona chiara e forte! Locale famigliare. Genuino, accogliente, Cucina casalinga di ottima qualita'. Tipica del posto e originale. Si sentono i prodotti freschi. Vista l'ora tarda decidiamo di restare "leggeri" Antipasti e . . . Una pioggia di portate ottime dai salumi alle olive ascolane, alla zuppa di orzo con. . . . tanto sapore, ai mini hamburger. Per finire con un rotolino di caprese, carpacci di carne con cipolle caramellate e . . . . poi basta perché adesso tocca a voi provare le prelibatezze. Complimenti ai titolari, figli compresi come pure il personale di cucina, il servizio ai tavoli effettuato da personale preparato e all'altezza. Ottimo locale
