08/11/2025: The Tagliatelle Ai Funghi was our absolute favourite!

06/11/2025: In this place you have to be in ball gowns and suits to be served normally and with respect. Or you have to be Italian, apparently because these demonstrations don't pass them by. They were a little polite until they seated us, but then the politeness disappeared. On the other hand, there were people in suits at the neighboring tables who asked them "is everything okay with your food?"; "oh, today is the perfect time to visit our city". They didn't even ask us anything, even when they served us the soft drinks they almost spilled them on the table from crashing. Apparently this is the hospitality of the Italians towards Eastern European tourists 😄 It is very important to clarify and know from their waiters, and the one who answers the assessments very witty, that not everyone has to demonstrate their financial capabilities in order to receive adequate and respectful service. :) No one knows who is what kind of person. They may have the money to order you the entire menu, but alas, with such a policy, it's a difficult job... Otherwise, the food was nothing special. You can eat tastier food in other restaurants. It was also very cramped. We had to lift the people next to us when we had to get up and go to the toilet.

11/12/2025: Pizza 0 service 0 The place is passable. The only thing that's Neapolitan about it is the oven.

10/12/2025: I hate to give a negative review, especially since the atmosphere is very nice. Table service was very slow; after a 20-minute wait, I got up and left. The waiter (alone in the dining room) started serving tables full of people who had literally just arrived, ignoring me.

10/12/2025: Very elegant, but not at all exaggerated. I've seen many gluten-free pastries, but this one is definitely the best in Trieste and easily in the top 5 in all of northern Italy.

09/12/2025: Last-minute lunch. Bigoli with lake sardines and bigoli with ragù for the first course, pike with polenta and sweet and sour peppers for the second course—truly magnificent. The amaretto semifreddo and millefeuille were delicious. Truly delicious!

27/11/2025: You reach this lovely trattoria by driving along hilly roads surrounded by greenery, among rows of vines and olive groves. The spacious dining room is beautiful and immediately calms the spirits. There's also a terrace for the summer months. The service is courteous, simple, but genuine. The food is excellent, and the wines are quality, especially those inspired by the lake.

08/12/2025: Rustic tavern with lake and mountain views, especially from the outdoor terrace. Traditional cuisine, very good dishes with generous portions. Very friendly staff, and the complimentary digestifs at the end of the meal are a real treat.

30/11/2025: A truly special place: the food is excellent, prepared with top-quality ingredients and served in a rustic, homey atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Everything is extremely welcoming, from the carefully crafted dishes to the details of the ambiance. The service is warm and genuine, always attentive without being intrusive. The prices are super fair, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. A heart-warming place that I would recommend without hesitation!

05/11/2025: A true Triestine treat that lets you truly experience traditional local cuisine. The Imperial Platter for Two is truly sublime, and I recommend it to couples. Tongue, cotechino, prosciutto, and many other delicacies! Of course, they also offer an excellent sandwich with hand-sliced ​​prosciutto and a drizzle of horseradish!

We had tagliolini with butter and parmesan, which was fabulous (you can add truffle, which we did). A broccoli and anchovy gnocchi was equally fantastic. An excellent fried calamari and shrimp dish. A children's menu consisted of penne with tomato sauce, chicken cutlet with potatoes, both equally delicious, and ice cream. The penne had a white version, and although the sauce was also delicious, next time my daughter will have them white because she stole her dad's tagliolini. I've never had tagliolini that looked so simple but tasted so good. A bottle of water and a glass of wine. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a view of the lake and the village of Anguillara, you could go straight down to the beach. Nice and friendly staff and owner. The costs are honest enough to allow you to return more frequently. Pleasant last minute discovery since it was already late, we will certainly become loyal customers. 08/10/2025: Linda was exceptional. The Abruzzese food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was rustic yet very welcoming. I recommend it to all Abruzzese and those visiting from outside—it was a wonderful experience. We ate generous portions and paid just what we expected, or even less. We'll definitely be back!
