Absolutely amazing gluten-free dedicated bakery. The pizza and cannoli were out of this world. Reasonably priced and very close to the train station. It’s a little hidden on a lower level, so we missed it on the first pass, but it’s very much worth finding.

Federica, the owner, is incredibly kind. The mimosa with cream and wild strawberries is delicious, simple, and delicate.

This bakery had the best gluten free baked goods. We walked 25 minutes every morning on our trip just to get something for breakfast. Loved everything I tried. The croissant was delicious and flaky. Even my non gluten free family said they had the best cannoli in Rome.

The cream wasn't greasy at all, and the strawberry... that choux pastry was delicious. I went there after reading a review to try the pistachio croissant, but they weren't making it that day and were making other breads... so I was disappointed and bought some instead. The pistachio croissant would definitely be delicious, too. The owner was so kind that he told me to go to the cafe in the back if I wanted coffee!

They’ve perfected gluten-free baking! They have a wonderful assortment of pastries, sweet and savoury. All gluten free and delicious. We had savoury cake, cannoli, chocolate balls, and creme puffs. Oh, and we tried a chocolate chip roll. Everything was super flavourful and perfect. Thank you!

Altavela ristorante

08/04/2026: If you're looking for an experience that goes beyond simply "eating out," Altavela is a must-see in Fiumicino. Rarely do you find such a perfect balance between the quality of the ingredients and the hospitality of the staff. The undisputed star is the fish, incredibly fresh and treated with sacred respect. Each dish reflects the traditions of the coast but with a touch of contemporary elegance that elevates the flavor without overpowering it. What makes Altavela truly special, however, is the atmosphere. The service is impeccable: fast, discreet, and extremely knowledgeable in recommending off-menu items and wine pairings. But it's the extreme kindness of the entire staff that makes the difference; they make you feel like a guest of honor from the moment you arrive, right up until your coffee, with a warmth and spontaneity that are rare these days. Highly recommended for both a romantic dinner and a special family lunch. I'll definitely be back!
05/04/2026: The restaurant has an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, and the service is professional and courteous. The menu offers traditional and modern dishes, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The prices, in my opinion, are a bit high, even considering the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Schietto Cucina alla Mano

08/05/2026: Everything was delicious and the waiter was very nice.
07/05/2026: I’m visiting from Japan, this pasta was truly on another level. It was the best I’ve ever eaten. Every element—the seasoning, the perfectly seared pork, the noodles, and the sauce—was in total harmony. I was honestly sad to see the plate empty! The wine was also superb and complemented the flavors perfectly. I also had artichokes for the first time here, which was a treat. And don’t skip the espresso; unlike the bitter versions I’ve had before in Japan, this one was rich and delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I truly envy the locals who get to enjoy this amazing food all the time! Highly recommended.
